Great experience
What do you like best about the product?
We are using Zabbix monitoring platform and OpsGenie offers Zabbix integration which works perfect for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
It took couple of days to get find things after OpsGenie website upgrade. :-)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are monitoring our core network and OpsGenie helps us to meet SLA's with customers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is the best option in the market.

Simple user interference with no management required.

Temp turn off notifications when not working or oncall

Network outages
The tool looks and works fine. Could be better.

The ease with which it can be worked out of the mobile app and Slack and other applications.

I do not like the fact that when I have entered a bunch of words for a particular alert, go to another alert for reference and come back, the information I had entered is gone.

It's a service you can count on, always on time gives you the possibility to be able to relegate notifications to third parties. Furthermore, the interface is very user-friendly

sometimes despite the acknowledgement of the notifications, I still receive the call and if I do not answer, the calls continue
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we use the service for reminders of our maintenance which takes place every day at the same time. the benefits are certainly that if someone is not available for some extreme case, someone else can replace it even at the last moment

What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of setting up integrations and the analytical reports. The support desk is great as well, always get back to me very fast and resolve issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some issues with the apps, users are unable to allow OpsGenie to override do not disturb but i think this is more of an OS security issue. This seems to vary between Android versions and apple
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OpsGenie allows us to consolidate multiple infrastructure alerts in to one place and only alert the required on call engineer. Escalation policies are configured to alert additional engineers if and when required.

Try out the free trial and make use of Support to get things setup the way you want.

Multiple escalation paths, allows good tractability of faults

no quick way to swap on call weeks which would be a benefit.

I like the alert escalation process where in you can set thresholds before the alert will be escalated to user higher than you.
I also like the on-call calendar feature where in you can easily see who is currently on-call.

Please add heatmap feature soon that way newbies can easily track where the outage is. That would be easier rather than reading the address itself
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
proper monitoring system. Before the system that we have is just monitoring our devices via ping. Which is helpful but not that much compared when your monitoring system is polling SNMP. With Opsgenie, you can get SNMP and add 'ping only device" depending on your preference.

What do you like best about the product?
The promptness with which it picks alerts and helps pick incidents which could be a potential threat with great ease. It is a multi utility on call tool with minimum complexity at use which makes the tool the best at what it is supposed to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
None encountered as if now. I dislike nothing in specific with regard to the prodct

ops genie is a genie in its true sense. It is the perfect tool for Incident and problem management.

It's very efficient in alerting our infra failures and provides great deal in maintaining redeundancy

There is nothing specific to dialike but the look of the tool can be more creative

What I like about OpsGenie is their alert escalation notification process. With that you can set up notification to be escalated on each tier depending on your needs.
I also like their mobile app! It's so simple and user friendly!

Sometimes the in-app notification does not work, please work on this one. Sometimes I miss some alerts as the app don't notify me

Proper handling of outages and proper distribution of alert types depending on which group should handle it

Yes price is way cheaper than other monitoring system. It'll definitely suit your needs!
