Clean and Presentable Interface
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is easy to look at and colorful, giving a lot of information quickly, even to non-technical users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Easier remediation would be appreciated - some remediations link to patches, and others give descriptions; sometimes nothing is provided.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vulnerability management and continuous monitoring, and being given a grade to strive for has helped us continue to improve our security posture.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Compare to other solutions like Qualys - Frontline Vulnerability Manager falls a little short in Continuous Monitoring however, excels in other areas - specifically ease of use and colorful interface.

On the spot scanning and easy search an being cloud based

no way to keep track of applied changes to endpoints.

What do you like best about the product?
Frontline givens you a score and rating to work to improve and track your progress against. The vulnerabilities that are detected, give you the possible resolution too.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have seen some assets duplicated in the software, and these are counted twice in the metrics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are fixed a whole range of security issues in our environment and also highlighting some improved standards and setup guides for hardware.
We have peace of mind knowing that our information is secure.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the easy-to-understand Dashboard, and the Customer Service is top-notch when I have a question. I can quickly identify weaknesses in our network and remedy them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I havent found any downsides to using the Frontline Vulnerability Manager. It's very clear and well laid out. I love the questions for product feedback and I've found the Customer Service to be great!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I didn't realize the number of vulnerabilities we had until we started using Frontline Vulnerability Manager. Frontline easily identified our vulnerabilities, and we have been able to rectify those deficiencies and make our network more secure.

The Frontline Vulnerability Manager is an excellent resource to identify potential security deficiencies within your network quickly. The support professionals are knowledgeable and always ready to help you understand the product.
A product you can rely on
What do you like best about the product?
DDI has already done the research on the vulnerabilities, we just need to mitigate the discovered issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
This product checked all our criteria boxes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Frontline as a first level of detection. This product helps us stay ahead of vulnerabilities and address them sooner than prior to our using Frontline.
Easy to use, and set up. Support is great.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that they come up with new features based on customer feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ability for a continuous scanning. A little more flexibility on Asset Type (to be able to add at our discretion).

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A wholistic view of devices on our network and to inform the backend teams to remediate the vulnerabilities. We can also rescan to check if remediations have been completed, which is great, because you do not have to only take the words of the backend team.
Best Cloud based Vulnerability Management Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Ease to configure. Cloud-based. Scalable. The reporting feature is good. The reports to all vulnerabilities are accurate. We can pull crisp Executive report to detailed Technical report as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
No Such dislikes. We have been using Frontline VM for about 7 months. Its going good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vulnerability management and updating system with latest patches.
USed Frontline Defense for 12 months
What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to use and navigate and correctly identifies a number of items that had default passwords or SMTP as public.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was not clear how to Acknowledge the fixed items so they would be hidden as you continue to fix items.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was tightening up our security and is a great way to determine what those were. I was able to reduce them and patch items that needed it.
Cost effective vulnerability management soluton
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use interface that allows us to scan our assets and identified vulnerabilities are categorized based on their severity automatically, allowing us to easily prioritize our remedial efforts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Should have built-in trend analysis that would allow us to see if a specific type of vulnerability (e.g. default password used) is on the rise or declining from scan to scan. Right now, we need to do a manual trend analysis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allow us to run periodic scans on our assets and get a holistic view of vulnerabilities that exist in our network. The automatic categorizing of vulnerabilities based on their severities also saves us time deciding which ones we should take action to remediate first.
