What do you like best about the product?
GitGuardian offers alerts that are easy to understand and short and simple. Passwords, API keys, SSH keys, and other types of secrets are among the many that GitGuardian may find. Additionally, it can find secrets in a range of places, such as commit messages, comments, and code.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not support all programming languages and frameworks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
GitGuardian offers a complete solution for identifying and fixing secrets in code, hence resolving the issue of secret leaks. I'm benefiting from this in several ways, like:

It has been awesome because it provides me more security because of its ability to detect loop holes

GitGuardian is the best platform needed for developments because it checks your code and make sure you follow due process in terms of security and this thus helps to prevent malware attacks or hackers from accessing key and important information of the project such as product keys and secret keys

Nothing for now the whole service is very awesome

It helps me to detect potential secret information leakages that could cause problems or allow unauthorized access to the system
Accurate Checking of important data
What do you like best about the product?
Its the best tool which helps developers like me if we unknowingly have shared our api key or some other important data publicly on github. Its easy to use and implement and has been very fast in catching such instances. Its very helpful for developers. I use it quite frequently on my code on Github which has smooth integration with GitGuardian. It also has fast and smooth customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
I havent noticed any downsides of GitGuardian.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
GitGuardian helps identify if any important confidential data was also uploaded with the source code on github and helps us tackle the incident smoothly. It helps developers to not face any consequences because of these secret leaks.
Adds a second layer of check for company secrets

When ever i think i have kept my secrets properly, gitguardian gives me assurance and alerts me to take any action fast

It's a real hekp to have someone checking that I',m not exposing "secrets" to the world. Helping me to keep sensitive data from beeing seen by anyone but me is a very great help

It would be great if the Github commands were included so I didn;t have to go to StackOverflow to find them

The problem i've experienced of breached keys seems more difficult to resolve than it could be. Could it not be possible just to delete the github file through github's main page or through GitGuardian instead of via terminal commands? This would be my only suggestion.
