The Ai Integration makes it more reliable for precise term linking

unprecise translations and new words to use within conversation
Great Context-Aware Translations, but Plugin Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Best toold for context-aware traductions. You can clearly see that it does not only translate word by word but that translations are enriched by the context. Easy to use, implement and integrate with you workflows. Use it daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wished the plugin worked always as seamlessly as the web. Other than that, we would definitely benefit from more languages available for translation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Translating texts, documents and web pages with more precisiont than market standard tools

DeepL Review
What do you like best about the product?
It gives one of the most accurate machine translated outputs
What do you dislike about the product?
It is still behind openAI when it comes to fluency and readability. Also ever since it turned into an LLM system, it seems to introduce hallucinations into the translation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Machine translation
DeepL is a mixed bag
What do you like best about the product?
Most helpful is its accuracy at least in English, if not in Hungarian. It is also good in Bulgarian.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occassionally it gives me awful mistranslations that are usable as jokes only. Plus it stops working every half an hour or so, requiring relaunch.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps me understanding complicated sentences in German, English, Bulgarian and Slovenian, and translating them into Hungarian, Bulgarian, German. From time to time it makes me laugh with its ridiculous mistranslations and hallucinations, easing the monotony of work.
An effective workday with DeepL
What do you like best about the product?
As product manager for many of our suppliers, I translate a number of documents into Norwegian. With DeepL, these tasks have become very easy. The fact that I can also translate white papers in PDF format directly is brilliant. The language module is very good, so I have also started writing in my own language and translating it into English. I highly recommend DeepL.
(I have also tested German and Finnish with good feedback from recipients.)
(I have also tested German and Finnish with good feedback from recipients.)
What do you dislike about the product?
DeepL is still somewhat unstable, causing login errors and requiring the browser to be reset.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Makes the workday significantly easier, as all literature is in English. I really like that it supports multiple platforms. Even when I make spelling mistakes in my own language, DeepL finds the right word in the translation.
DeepL is the best writing program

What do you dislike about the product?
I have nothing to criticize about the writing program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have no business problems, I use DeepL only for personal use.
Deepl is great but has crucial mistakes in Dutch (NL)
What do you like best about the product?
I use Deepl many times a day for translation work. Deepl translates while you type and that works very well compared to other translators. It also works great with suggestions when clicking on a word (suggestions/ variations)
I would not be able to do my job fast enough without it and has made me a nice amount of money with my 'side job'.
I would not be able to do my job fast enough without it and has made me a nice amount of money with my 'side job'.
What do you dislike about the product?
A] I complained about this about 2 years ago - Deepl still makes mistakes with formal / informal in the Dutch language (NL) - It still sometimes translates 'you' or 'your' wrong. It will translate 'you' or 'your' in informal to 'u' / 'uw' instead of 'je' / 'jou' (etc). You need to speak Dutch in order to understand what I mean.
B] I don't like the new version because 1] The formal/informal switch has moved to 'editing tools' . 2] I can't edit glossaries like the old look on the same translation page. 3] The undo button (command z) does not work anymore, so it does not go back to previous edits/ translations. 4] when clicking on a word it does not react as fast as the previous version (or does not react at all)
C] Deepl is sometimes very slow!
D} Glossary still does not work properly. It will take too long to explain!
This slows down my work and I'm seriously considering using the free version after 3 years.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The way it works is great most of the time and I would not be able to do my job fast enough without it and has made me a nice amount of money with my 'side job' as a translator. I do hope Deepl will reconsider the new version and fix mistakes first!
Translations correct, support very helpful
What do you like best about the product?
the immediate availability of the translation and the correct execution
What do you dislike about the product?
As with many other ventures, there is no direct contact; in case of problems, you have to find your way with links. But there is always a response.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
no business problems - payment is seamless

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it supports fewer languages and features compared to other major translation tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DeepL solves the challenge of getting accurate, natural-sounding translations quickly, which helps me communicate effectively across languages without losing meaning or tone. This saves me time and improves the quality of my work, especially in professional and creative contexts.
