Comprehensive Monitoring with Real-Time Visibility

What do you like best about the product?
I use NETSCOUT Network & Application Observability primarily for performance analysis and traffic analysis. It helps us quickly identify and resolve network and application performance issues. I really like that it shows packet visibility properly and provides real-time monitoring, which makes it easier to identify issues. The packet visibility allows us to see exactly what's happening in the network, making it much easier to identify the root cause of any issue. We also use it with ITSM to create tickets for any incidents, which makes tracking easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find its user interface a bit hard for new users, and for smaller teams like us, it's a bit more expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use NETSCOUT Network & Application Observability for performance and traffic analysis, quickly resolving network and application issues with real-time monitoring and packet visibility.

Robust DDoS Protection and Easy Setup

What do you like best about the product?
I'm mainly happy with the DDoS capabilities of NETSCOUT Network & Application Observability. It's definitely valuable for me as it helps reduce the workload and time needed to accomplish more activities. The fake traffic is definitely blocked, which is helpful. The command line interface is straightforward, and both the licensing port and binding process are easy to handle. It's easy to buy and set up with the managers and the devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't really specific feedback on dislikes in the transcript. The user repeats that unwanted or global level blacklisted traffic can be edited, which hints at an area for improvement, but isn't expressed clearly as a dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NETSCOUT Network & Application Observability helps mitigate DDoS traffic, making it easier to block unwanted traffic and analyze network data. It simplifies manual tasks and is valuable for increasing efficiency with less time and effort.

What do you like best about the product?
We can see deeper transaction level impact. Ability to see end to end service monitering at real-time and high throughput enironment. I think NETSCOUT stands taller than the competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Needs expert level networking knowledge something new and unexperienced engineer would struggle to comprehend. Interface at times is dated, old-fashined and clutterd.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trend analysis and recurring issue detection is extremely good. This has immensly helped me to achieve better result within a limited time. This option stands taller than the competitors.

What do you like best about the product?
I like NETSCOUT Network & Application Observability because it provides deep network and application visibility, helping to detect problems at an early stage. Its ability to pinpoint network problems with real-time visibility saves us from long troubleshooting time. Setting it up is very user-friendly, so even someone with minimal knowledge can manage it, which is the best part.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that NETSCOUT Network & Application Observability works well in hybrid environments, and it really shines in traditional data center network-heavy architectures. The initial setup was extremely easy, which I appreciate.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not ideal for small to midsize teams or organizations looking for a quick setup or minimal training.

I use NETSCOUT Network & Application Observability for complex, mission-critical networks in a distributed environment, like data centers and cloud workloads. It's a perfect fit for deep root cause analysis in large enterprises and regulated industries.

What do you like best about the product?
I have carefully looked into all the feature so can find some sort of issue, Unfortunately, I could not find anything, NETSCOUT is like one stop solut
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I would suggest that if we could have hybrid model, which operate on prem as well as off prem would be great beneficial for the public.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most important for any organisation I believe profitability, and this product does bring that to business, less infrastructure, less body count and less hassel.

What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most about NETSCOUT is the comprehensive visibility it provides into both network and application performance. It enables us to swiftly pinpoint bottlenecks and resolve issues before they escalate into significant problems. The insights offered are consistently accurate and dependable.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product offers a lot of power, but at times it can be challenging to configure and manage. It takes new team members a while to learn the system and become comfortable using it. Additionally, the user interface seems somewhat outdated when compared to more modern observability platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NETSCOUT helps us identify network and application performance issues much faster. Instead of guessing where the problem is, we can see whether it’s coming from the network, server, or application layer. This reduces troubleshooting time and helps improve service uptime.

What do you like best about the product?
Locate and identify the network bottlenecks proactively and smarter ways. Multi vendor capabilities and inspection across multiple layers are remarkable features to mention here. deep packet inspection (DPI) is beyond the traditional way of identifying issues on multi cloud infrastructures.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much user friendly. However, with proper training and skills it is easy setup and implement. Need quite improvement on application degradation troubleshooting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Proactive monitoring of multi and hybrid cloud environments across the enterprise. Helping us to early identification of connectivity issues and address them promptly.

What I like best is the level of visibility NETSCOUT gives—it makes it much easier to understand what’s happening across the network and applications in real time.

It’s a great tool, but it can feel a bit overwhelming at first, especially when trying to navigate all the features and dashboards. So, it can be improved better

The overall solution is quite costly and can be complex to implement. Additionally, it is resource intensive because it relies on packet-level data, which may introduce overhead on the systems.

Root Cause Analysis is extremely useful for operations teams, making it easier to diagnose complex problems that span both network and application layers. The platform's scalability is impressive, with a robust architecture that can handle everything from remote locations to large data centers.
