Xero as a management software tool

What do you like best about the product?
Xero allows my company to keep track fo expenses, revenue, and aging receivables in a timely and organized fashion. It's dashboards provide us with a bird's eye-view of the state of our company's finances. There is a relatively low learning curve, especially for users who aren't from finance/accounting backgrounds.
We have also utilized Xero's automation tools to send out invoices on a monthly basis and reduce man-effort in our finance department.
What do you dislike about the product?
Xero is limited in its customizability. For instance, there are only 2 tracking categories that can be added to each invoice. This is troublesome when we need to track our revenue in greater detail, e.g. product category, sales team, project ID.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Xero to track our revenue, expenses, and aging receivables. We utilize the reference field on Xero invoices to tag each invoice to the relevant customer and contract. This allows us to break-down our monthly revenue by customer and contract.
With Xero's automation tools, we can also automate the sending of invoices and payment reminders which has helped us to reduce man-effort.

I like that it is easy to navigate, integrates with other software we use, has expense management, and all the reporting we need

When we export invoices with a custom date range, some invoices from outside the date range are exported.

One place for our bills, invoices, expenses, asset inventory, bank reconciliation

Most of the time it just works, and is simple and intuitive.

Can be cost prohibative for smaller organisations, or those just starting out.

Xero covers a range of buisinessess and can generally work for you once the initial setup is completed

Xero is the best for cloud accounting

What do you like best about the product?
It is a deck that supports you in understanding the financial situation of your company. If we want to make sure that the information on the Dashboard is correct, then we need to track our payment transactions regularly. Within Dashboard, they display an accurate financial definition of the company they have in common and provides the manager of a business the ability to see how much is coming in and going out. When using Xero, not only are collections individualized based on the needs of the merchant, but it is quick and easy to create, send and track these collections. In addition, consistent invoices can be automatically stored and emailed from Xero. Xero has the ability to use categories and tracking tools so that Xero users can conveniently access their account database while viewing reports from areas or cost centers. Xero offers different support possibilities such as help desk, chat, knowledge and email support.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have no fears about this program. Only one judgment is, this technology could use a cash account feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Xero is a cloud accounting software for mid-sized businesses. Xero is a replacement for QuickBooks. This app has tools for bank account troubleshooting, accounting (in charge of invoicing and payment), purchasing, inventory, expenses, billing management and many others. Since Xero is cloud-based, this means that we can access Xero from anywhere and anytime we want, not being limited to using a single computer. Xero also offers training possibilities through the web, videos, in-person classes, information boards and documentation.

What do you like best about the product?
One of the best features is the inclusion of hubdoc for its clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one issue is the customer service is all via email and messaging. There are times when a situation requires speaking to someone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saving receipt records and attaching them to accounting program.

What do you like best about the product?
Xero is very intuitive. It's easy to use and easy to train staff.
What do you dislike about the product?
Xero doesn't have the ability to setup user levels. Eg the purchasing officer (using the current settings) would see financial figures on the dashboard. Such a shame, as this may be the determing factor to move from Xero.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Xero is streamlining our processes.
