Most important software in my business
What do you like best about the product?
The system is intuitive, easy to learn and the app store is fantastic. The integrations with the bank feed is fantastic and one of the best examples I have seen.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have found the payroll and expenses module a bit clunky in comparison to the slickness of the rest of the modules. Also more bank integrations would be appreciated
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Xero has helped deliver massive efficiency gains and has helped cut down on the paperwork required by the business. Year end accounts are delivered easily with my accountant being able to view everything they need in real time.

An Accounting software for the small businesses
What do you like best about the product?
It's software that is used by those businesses having small day-to-day transactions like sale, purchases and settlement of accounts or making reconciliations. Good software for tracking the accounting records.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I have found with this software, we can use it for small businesses where the scope of transactions during the day is small but when we have a large scale of accounting during the day then it is better to use ERP or SAP.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As in India, we can see almost small exist therefore we need economical software that can mitigate the need of a small businessman, so this software is very helpful to mitigate the need of such small businesses by posting transactions into it.

Bugs and errors with the bank feed features
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Unable to connect to bank feed. Benefit is that we able to do bank reconciliation after bank feed connected.

Fully featured yet easy to get started on as a small/micro business
What do you like best about the product?
The self-guided setup made it very easy to launch and onboard ourselves onto when we launched our small business just over 10 years ago. Since then, having moved into a larger business, it's been great to have the familiarity of Xero but find that it's still powerful enough to handle our larger business requirements as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found Xero to meet all of my financial management needs. It would be great if the Standard plan included the automated superannuation feature, as it does include payroll for 2 people.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Compliant accounting software which was easy to use and made accounting as fun as it could be! The user interface has been very well thought out and makes it easy to navigate and use the system.
Easy To Use Business Essential
What do you like best about the product?
Bank reconciliation is a breeze with the instant bank feeds. And the sales tools for quotes and invoices are great.
What do you dislike about the product?
The instant bank feeds did take over a year to get working. And the costs are a bit high for new businesses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All our accounts in one place. Managing and reconciling transactions only takes about half a day per month.
Easy to use. Access from anywhere, good uptime levels. Integrates well with GoCardless
What do you like best about the product?
Mobile and desktop apps. Easy to make and track changes. Good training resources and a wide range of app integrations. Good reporting functions. Relatively easy for end-users.
What do you dislike about the product?
No phone support, only online support via Xero Central. This is sometimes slow. That's about it really.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monthly GST, year end accounts, business reports and projections. Also it supports e-invoicing (a new NZ govt initiative).

What do you like best about the product?
I'm professional bookkeeping working in the industry, so we had the requirement for a cloud-based framework that was practical. They worked with the bank and my independent venture clients to guarantee the bank took care of were arrangements appropriately. Xero's extra accomplices support the Xero item with highlights that might need.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would likewise make the item more useable if it dealt with fractional exception organizations. There are frequent exchanges that are missed off. Fixing this bug would make the product much better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is utilized to oversee providers and clients. It is the reason for creating the board records and cost focus reports. I'm ready to close our bookkeeping periods quicker and get why and where our benefits are being produced.
Xero is user friendly and it is a good accounting software
What do you like best about the product?
I like the way the software has designed things to fasten the accounting activites. Xero makes bank reconciliations pretty easy and saves a lot of time with the 'Cash coding' feature and bank rules which can be created within the software. I also like the 'Create bill from email' feature, through which it creates bills while filling in a several details automatically. Also, sending invoices and statements directly to the customers through the system is very useful. The 'Repeating journal entry' feature is also very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing big to complain about. However, when accounting for a large parent company that has several subsidiaries, the users have to shift from one entity to another to view transactions in each entity and it is a bit difficult to compare the performances of the subsidiaries parallelly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Xero has helped to reduce the time taken to perform accounting activities. It has fastened the bank reconciliation process and invoices and bills creation. Also, payment files created through batch payments make it easy to pay several suppliers at once while saving a lot of time. Their pre-built reports help to quickly prepare the reports management needs, without worrying about the formatting of the report. The formatting of the reoprts are pretty good and it even allows to customze the reports to a certain extend.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are many features available in the software to complete the accounting activities faster. I think Xero is a good software for small and medium size businesses.

It's easy to use. If you've used accounting software before, you will be able to learn how it works quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no phone support if you have a problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Low cost for use, which is a benefit to start ups. It has alot of features similar to QuickBooks Online.
