What do you like best about the product?
Xero takes accounting and really makes it as simple and user-friendly as possible. Good UI/UX, good resources for support, and lots of automation/integraiton options. Very happy Xero customer.
What do you dislike about the product?
Xero does occasionally get a bit buggy and has technical issues - but this is the same for all platforms. I don't fault them for this, even though it can be frustrating at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I help my clients to manage their finances and cash flow. Xero is a must-have tool for all of my clients as it makes it easy to manage 'the rest of the finances'

Really easy to get along with Accounting software
What do you like best about the product?
Really easy interface that requires no training or accounting experience. Easy to create invoices, email them out and it has a clear dashboard that shows you everything you need at a glance.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much we don't like, but one of the few things that have been an annoyance is not being able to edit the format of the Customer Statement when using a standard branding theme.
We enter a Customer PO number as well as our job reference in the Reference column and all that detail shows up fine on the invoice itself but when you produce a PDF statement for a client, it truncates the width of that column and therefore doesn't display all this detail which isn't helpful when a customer is reviewing their statement, we have to export the data and produce this ourselves in XLS.

Easy quick accounting, fast VAT return submission, access from anywhere
Best Accounting Software
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it use to use and how clean the look is. Great support team if you need any help it has improved my workload and helped me manage many of my clients all works all in one place
What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment there is not much but I would like to if Xero had a feature to add new pay items for payroll directly within payroll or if HMRC tax codes changes are always done I have realised it his a hit and miss at times
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am more productive with my work and can work from anywhere in the world. I love the MTD feature and the fact that you can directly submit VAT returns through Xero rather then going on to HMRC website.
I recommend Xero to everyone!

Xero is the best platform for anyone with a business, small or large!

Nothing! Xero is the best accounting platform out there. None of the others can hold a candle to it.

I have been able to handle all of my business invoicing and balance my checking accounts and credit cards seamlessly. The ease of use in comparison to other accounting software is amazing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend Xero to everyone! I also use Xero with everyone in my practice.

What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive for people with basic accounting knowledge. Easy to view key reports, which is vital for management. The ability to drill down into more detail is very helpful. Automatically linking accounts and credit cards saves a lot of time. Very powerful and comprehensive accounting tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Creating reports can be tricky. The product is designed for people experienced with accounting and some parts may be confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Detailed accounting data is critical for understanding business performance. Management can access key reports and data easily, while bookeeper can use the full features to structure and order accounting data.
Good for very early stage - lacks functionality of QBO
What do you like best about the product?
Simple product - easy to use for invoicing and general ledger accounting.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you are looking for a plug and play GL - you should go with QBO which has better functionality for the same cost. One of the limitations for basic accounting software is the limited processes that can happen within the product. You will need to integrate other softwares to make it function for you in the long term and Xero is less adopted for APIs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Invoicing, Accounting. We stopped using it and switched to QBO.
Complete accounting software with tons of integrations
What do you like best about the product?
Gas all the features you can possibly need and is tailored for small business and startup needs. It also integrates with pretty much every tool out there and in my opinion is neck-in-neck with Quickbooks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be cumbersome and difficult to learn at first. It also is more expensive than other tools out there, although still affordable compared to larger accounting suites.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zero is the accounting center of our company where we track income, expenses and generate reports needed to run our business.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Their expense management system is actually decent and saves a ton of money compared to other expense management and tracking platforms.

Xero is very innovative so if there's anything you do not like, you can send in feedback

Eliminate data entry with Xero, and being able to integrate over 1000 add-ons

What do you like best about the product?
How it makes accounting actually easy to understand for the layman. I have never studied accounting and I'm able to get a good understanding of how things work!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. This is the most complete accounting software that you can find.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Invoicing, bills payable, expense tracking, financial statements generation. Now my books are actually in order!
