Best cloud accounting software
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to expand the base functionality through add ons
What do you dislike about the product?
The base reports are sometimes quite simple and don't allow for the level of detail needed
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving the problem of lots of manual data entry. Realised benefits of speeding up bank reconciliations along with being able to see what the client can see

Xero is great for submitting and tracking expenses
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that it is really simple to use and it has same capabilities on your phone or on your laptop. The only difference is the 2-factor certification process you need to do on your phone to access Xero but it is worth it. It takes less than a minute to submit expenses - no spreadsheets no fuss around getting it right.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue I had is that after you submit the expense, you are unable to edit it afterward. For instance, I entered the account name incorrectly and now it appears in our overall system and there does not seem to be any troubleshooting for this issue and any options to fully remove it.

It is a great tool for submitting expenses but beware of submitting them incorrectly!

Issues with Bank feeds - Not really a Xero issue more my bank!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Access from anywhere and easy to understand and Dashboard shows a summary of my outstanding invoices etc

If you are looking for an easy to use and understand accounting package Xero is for you - It also integrates with many other apps like Vend ( our till system ) and Shopify ( our online sales ) - As a small business its easy for me to keep on top of things.

What do you like best about the product?
It is super easy to use and logically laid out.
What do you dislike about the product?
One company with multiple offices at different addresses - not possible. No option to add telephone number to the invoice. Cant add payment instruction to bottom of invoice either. Having issues integrating with our bank, might need to change.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love the automatic reminders that can be set. It saves me heaps of time and works remarable well at bringing in outstanding funds

This is better suited to smaller businesses. One of our issues is we are an international company which means we have issues when we invoice a company that has offices in different addresses but has ONE name.

Even anyone not from an accounting background can pick this software up in a matter of days.

. Customer care support team can be slow and most of the time unreliable.

As a small business, we are able to do the simple book keeping from this software, means we can carry out tasks that we need to do in a daily basis.

Xero is superb and excellent business accounting platform.
What do you like best about the product?
The most significant thing about this software is that the banking dashboard in Xero makes it very easy to manage banking transactions. This program is user friendly and free with many invoices features which always makes happy because it enhanced our finance and accounts invoices and expenses and in this why, we can't worried about the financial condition. This software helps us so much to understand and learning about accounting.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main disadvantage of this software is that Xero software completely removed all of its features, which is very convenient and helpful for the users but now there is no more any convenient feature like the service and customer records and the inventory tracking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This software is super responsive and the extremely helpful for our business companies because by using this efficient tool, they can easily manage my accounts and invoices in a better way. So I can highly recommend it to everyone.

Very straightforward to upload receipts and submit expenses

Nothing - this is a very user friendly app to use

I now get my expenses in on time!

Extremely intuitive, auto reconciliation, invoice creating and being able to export any data to excel
What do you dislike about the product?
Xero underwent an update and the interface had changed for the worse (in my opinion)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to consolidate the files and check multiple bank accounts on one accounting package. Payroll system can work alongside xero to ensure invoices are actually being sent.
