What do you like best about the product?
Clarify illustrates for our network/contracting teams the health systems/provider groups that our top competitors have in-network and a path for building more competitive networks. It also shows where we have administrative opportunities in terms of roster reconciliation/load efforts (showing non-PAR providers that belong to PAR health systems). It makes it easy to create target provider lists for our contracting and provider data management teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Given that the provider data is sourced/built at the NPI-level vs Tax ID (TIN), the reporting does create confusion when aggregating opportunities using the Contracting Entity and/or Primary Physician Group fields. Our health plans contract at the TIN level, which is often unspecified, and these rollups (such as Contracting Entity) are found to have inaccuracies. Partially due to the attribution logic forcing a 1:1 relationship with every NPI and a higher-level, and partially due to the CMS dataset being aged (FY 2020 currently and we're mid 2022).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Clarify is showing us which providers/health systems are in-network with our top competitors where we're doing business. It gives us a roadmap to mirroring our competitors' 4-5 Star plans. It also adds value by giving a view into volume (attributed patients) and performance (quality/efficiency scores) as we tailor provider targets.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Clarify Health is the data and the customer support. The system provides a user-friendly platform that provides data analytics at the tip of our fingers.
What do you dislike about the product?
It isn't a dislike, but more of an opportunity to improve data uploads. I've found that sometimes reports are broken when data is not uploaded correctly or mapped differently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company is always looking to expand and increase services to the community. The team has been instrumental in providing us with market share data to help executives make key informed decisions.

What do you like best about the product?
The size of their data assets is really second to none.
Their analytics platform is powerful and precise.
They also include some very neat visualizations within the platform.
The ability to continue drilling down is fantastic, and the ability to build custom analyses.
The customer service team is phenomenal and responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the system seems glitchy after continuous use.
Not everything in the platform is exportable, let alone exportable in a usable format, which makes downstream communication of results with stakeholders difficult to say the least.
They tend to overpromise and underdeliver in terms of platform/metric updates.
We've had a few new data QA issues that my team caught, wish it had been done on their end.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our clients are looking to evaluate provider quality, and thus need a standard language to use when thinking about designing networks and other programs geared towards high value. This, as well as analyzing various commercial networks, are huge things that Clarify is helping us with currently.

What do you like best about the product?
Clarify has solid data science that backs up their quality measurement. In addition, they have a robust roadmap of metrics and categories to add in the future, so they are always evolving their product and what it can look at. In addition, their customer support team has been incredible. Not only did they train our team, but they remain available all the time for questions and even talking with our own customers who want to go deeper. The support is responsive and great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the user interface experiences can be clunky. Reports with more than a certain number of providers can't be fully extracted, nor is their bulk extract reporting functionality. In addition, sometimes Clarify will push their internal deadlines for when new things are added vs their original timeline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The core benefit we've realized is having an objective ability to help our customers understand, see, evaluate and analyze value-based care arrangements for their population. This is allowing us to customize networks, evaluate network offerings, understand the opportunity for provider steerage, create value-based referral lists, and so much more.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This space is very complex so no one is doing quality measurement the exact same way. I would give them a call since it's worth a conversation at least to understand their approach.
