Sprout Social for schools
What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to plan out our social content on multiple channels. I also love being able to duplicate our posts and then edit them for different audiences. It really saves time. I also love the reports and analytics I can get from Sprout to analyze what we are doing across our channels and make changes according to our goals.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that Sprout Social had Nextdoor available to schedule out. It's a pain having to go to that platform and organically post. Plus, it would be nice to include it in our analytics that we get from Sprout.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout is a time saver for sure. It helps me with productivity. The ease of scheduling and pulling analytics also saves time. I love that I can compare different time periods within the analytics as well.
A Helpful Tool That Makes My Job Easier
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite sprout social feature is the reports tool. Everything from adding tags for segmenting posts types to looking back to posts from 2013 for inspiration, has been very helpful in my role at my job.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that Sprout was a little faster at adapting to changes on each platform they support. For example, you can't add 20 photos to an instagram post yet and you can't upload short 4k videos because of the size restraints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout allows us to easily keep a finger on the pulse of the conversation around our brand. Once we set up our smart inbox it was very simple to review our companies mentions all in one place.
Sprout is a lifesaver - sanity saver - for me as a content marketing manager who wears multiple hats
What do you like best about the product?
As a senior content marketing manager working on a small team, I’m constantly shifting between different projects and channels. When I took over social media in January 2025 after the previous person moved to another role, I immediately knew I needed a scheduling tool to help manage everything. I typically create social posts in batches—sometimes for a specific campaign, other times just to plan a month ahead—so having a way to set everything up in advance lets me focus on other projects and then return to social media later to review performance.
I found the demo experience with Sprout to be excellent. The rep provided a comprehensive walkthrough, answered all my questions, and made the purchase and setup process straightforward. Scheduling onboarding was easy, and the sessions were very detailed, which really set me up for success.
What I appreciate most about Sprout are its scheduling calendar and the AI-powered caption revision features. The tool offers multiple caption versions, such as making a post sound more confident. I also love that you can input an entire blog article and have it generate captions for you. As a writer with high standards for AI, I’ve been impressed with the quality. Another helpful feature is the Optimal Times recommendations for posting; when I follow these suggestions, my posts consistently receive more engagement and views.
In short, I’m a big fan of Sprout. Managing social media alongside countless other responsibilities is so much easier with this tool. I honestly don't know how I'd manage to do it all without Sprout.

This isn't exactly a complaint, but there was a time when something went wrong with Sprout. I was unable to at-mention people on LinkedIn, and the problem persisted for about a month. I believe I was among the first customers to notice and report it. The customer service team responded quickly, but it turned out the issue was more significant than they initially realized. They kept me updated throughout the month, and ultimately fixed the issue. It hasn't happened again!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a content marketing manager on a small team, Sprout has truly been a lifesaver for me. I prefer to create and schedule social posts ahead of time, which allows me to 'set them and forget them' for a while as I concentrate on other tasks. Sprout makes it incredibly easy to write captions, upload PDFs, images, and videos, and schedule posts. Honestly, I can't imagine how I would manage all of these responsibilities—along with my other essential duties—without Sprout.
Navigable and Efficient, Ideal for Managing Multiple Clients
What do you like best about the product?
I love Sprout Social for its easy and accessible connection of multiple social media profiles, which makes the platform navigable and powerful. It's my favorite software due to its clean layout, ability to view scheduled posts easily, receive notifications of posting failures and cleanly reconnect profiles efficiently. Its interface is also user-friendly for both beginners and experts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the setup process a bit confusing, particularly with connecting over 70 client profiles. Integrating personal LinkedIn and Facebook accounts with company profiles was challenging and involved a cumbersome amount of back-and-forth communication. I wish Sprout Social offered a more straightforward connection system to reduce this hassle.

Sprout Social simplifies client management, making it easy to search clients, schedule posts, and resolve posting issues. Its clean layout and navigation suit all user levels, enhancing efficiency.
All the tools you need
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout meets all our needs when it comes to social planning and tracking. I primarily rely on the calendar feature, which makes it much easier to organize and schedule our monthly content. Sharing out is especially useful with the dynamic links. If we make changes, our team can see the changes without having to send a new link.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that I have to log in every single time I visit the site and wait for a log-in code to my e-mail.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have clear visibility in what the social team is posting which helps me do my job.
Easy. Automated. Does everything I need!
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout is immensely user-friendly, I am on the platform daily and my approvers are easily able to navigate the platform without issue. I love the automated features, built in UTM code tools, and tracking. We've also recently integrated their employee advocacy tool and that connection has made it 10 times easier for our employees to share content.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do find there is fairly frequent turnover with our specific reps, they often get promoted out of the role, which is great for them, but we really only need to chat once a year at renewal time and it can be tough to determine who my contact is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's really just a huge time saver for me in general. It keeps me from having to navigate to several different tools just to make one post.
Great tool for large scale management
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to have multiple seats and the organization that the team has using the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that you cannot do everything you could do if you were posting straight from the social media platform app.

Publishing content across multiple platforms at a large scale.
Game changer
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, nice interface, the Smart Inbox, the Publishing Tab with Instagram Grid Preview and Calendar view, Approval Workflows, and the reporting. Makes scheduling posts with a team really easy
What do you dislike about the product?
The Instagram grid preview doesn't show the posts in 4:5 view, it's still square which is outdated
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's nice that we can see all of the interactions from users across all channels in the Smart Inbox. Makes responding to users fast and easy.
Spout has been gamechanging when it comes to social media marketing.
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing I like about Sprout is how user friendly it is.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I wish you could do is tag individual people within a scheduled post.

Having all channels in one place where the whole team can go in and get a visual of what is being scheduled.
Ease of use with my team
What do you like best about the product?
SS is an easy way to give feedback, approve and schedule posts on all our social media platforms. I love the weekly performance updates on my email that enables us to redefine our communication strategy afterwards.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not a dislike, it's a me problem, the fact that there is a double authentication leads me to delay on approvals and processes.
