Most efficient tool I have used for a while but costly

  • July 31, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of the platform, its easy to navigate and pretty straight forward to use. I think there are lots of helpful features on the more premium plans that I used to use a lot in my old job which I don't have access to now because of budgets
What do you dislike about the product?
Tagging companies on Facebook can be quite clunky. The cost is extortionate, even for a basic plan. I can't seem to differentiate stats on reports for FB as organic vs. paid (maybe thats a feature for a different plan). Creating and editing posts across multiple channels can be quite cumbersome, hootsuite for instance allows you to create one main post and then switch between channels to edit which is great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling mostly, and having reporting in one place.

The publishing calendar improvement and report

  • July 31, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's convenient for publishing workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
The publishing calendar has limited options. Not a lot of space to work with. Cannot link X to company profile, post only from individual profile which isn't the purpose of managing company's account. Difficult to integrate with Google analytics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provide better user friendly for Google Analytics and connect X to company profile not personal.

What do you like best about the product?
We love the tagging capabilities to see what campaigns worked, what content to create, and what our community. wants to see.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sprout is great for many things. One thing that could improve work flow would be a gallery to see the main feed grid.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social media approvals to stay on brand and consistent marketing messages.

Totally a GameChanger!

What do you like best about the product?
What I love about Sprout is that it's super easy to use and helps you see and handle all your social messages in one place, even if it costs a lot (still worth it though). Also, I love to visit reviews section! It’s pretty neat to see feedback from all interactions from different platforms—right in your dashboard. Good job, team!
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a little pricey, but still, it's worth it!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to connect with customers in acknowledging their concerns, suggestions and feedbacks on the service provided.

A Great Tool For Social Media Marketers

  • July 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
you can schedule any post or video across all the platforms and you can make it feel unique to that channel or campaign. Also its very good for what the rice offers, one seats allows you an unlimited amount of social profiles, total worth the price
What do you dislike about the product?
it needs to do some updates on the social medias that are allowed to connect with the platform. You can't connect to Reddit, Bluesky, and all the new social media. I hope they can updates and make sure to have these avenues as well
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows to have a center for all the social media and its great for management of mid or big enterprises

Amazing customer service team and flexible terms!

  • July 24, 2025

What do you like best about the product?
I loved everything from the initial call with Ang to working with her to finalize our agreement. We landed on a deal that works for us and it was so nice to have someone like Ang to deal with. She is so smart and always answered my numerous questions and provided screenshares and another free trial week so my manager could take a peak at the platform before we committed. Ang is amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing! I loved how genuine Ang was and how she always followed up and was super professional without being pushy, and she didn't hesitate to pick up the phone and check in with me while we were working on our deal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly listening across the web and reddit/youtube, along with finding out who our People are and what their activities have been.

Great sidekick for the solo marketer

  • July 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As a smaller company with a solo social marketer, Sprout enables us to scale our social presence with purpose and ease. The unified inbox is a game-changer - I'm able to see all mentions, comments, and messages across all of our platforms and it saves hours. Implementation was easy, reporting is professional grade and the interface is intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest drawback of Sprout Social is the price. The base cost is already on the higher end, and then crucial features like social listening are locked behind an even more expensive add-on. This is frustrating, because listening is essential for proactive strategy, but it feels like it’s priced for enterprise budgets only.

For a tool that does so much right, it’s disappointing that such a core feature isn’t included or available at a more accessible tier. So we have to maintain a separate, more affordable tool to fill that gap.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lack of time/bandwidth - it's helping us to automate scheduling, and centralizing engagement and reporting to we can do more in less time.
Unifying strategy/content - bringing it all together under "one roof" helps keep strategy and purpose clear across platforms.
It truly allows us to maintain a consistent presence across platforms.

Disappointed in the advanced social listening.

  • July 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Sentiment analyzer is probably the only feature that is really useable at this point.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like overall listening is severely lacking. "Potential Impressions" are a vanity metric that is basically unusable in the platform — I am getting posts that rank in the top of potential impressions that only get 13 real impressions. This is a major issue for both X and Reddit.

Engagements on "messages" are regularly inaccurate. The X data is pretty delayed as well. For example, we had a Fortune article go out today and I still didn't see the post or article in Sprout even an hour after it was posted. I would think that based on how you measure "potential impressions" that this would be at the top of the messages for the day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My hope was that it solved my social listening problem, being able to unify my social feeds and accounts into one platform that I could get deeper insights into what our audience was saying about the product. In the most basic sense, it does that. Unfortunately, I had higher expectations for the product.

The best solution right now is measuring sentiment and tracking competitor sentiment.
