Robust Social Management
What do you like best about the product?
I am a big fan of the collaboration Sprout offers. From the Smart inbox to the publishing calendar, my team is able to seamlessly work together to create, manage, and respond to social content. It's easy to bring our customer service and social teams together, and even the basic reporting is so nice because it's all in one place and we no longer have to go to each platform to pull results. It was also super easy to get up and running, which took almost no time. We use Sprout every day across departments, and it honestly just makes our lives so much easier. Support has also been wonderful; any time I've had an issue either the help desk or our account rep has been able to help me solve the problem very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
My dislikes are minimal. While scheduling content through Sprout is easy and streamlined, a lot of the features and benefits of posting natively through the various platforms are a little limited. This is not a problem at all with static content, and can be mostly resolved by creating video content in something like CapCut and then bringing it into Sprout. I think this is likely true of other platforms though, so it's not necessarily a negative.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlines the content publishing process, and the customer service management process. I've said this before, but bringing departments together in one tool is so nice. It also helps us with on-going training because we can see how CS reps are engaging and provide additional training as needed. I personally also love the extra layer of security that comes with centralized access. If an employee leaves, I don't have to worry about trying to revoke their access across multiple platforms, I can just disable their access in Sprout.
My Take on Sprout Social After Daily Use
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Sprout Social brings everything into one place, publishing, scheduling, reporting, and engagement. It saves a lot of time and helps keep my team aligned.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really wish there was a way to enable automatic captions across all social media platforms. Just smart, built-in AI-generated captions that make content more accessible for everyone. Also, how great would it be if alt text was suggested automatically too? One less step, a lot more impact.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout helps streamline content planning and publishing across channels, which saves time and reduces manual effort. The unified dashboard and approval workflows make it easy to stay organized and maintain consistency. It’s also helped improve how we analyze performance by making reporting faster and easier to digest.
Great Program
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use for the platform, the publishing platform, and the optimal times.
What do you dislike about the product?
The look of the app, is too dark, I wish it was a little lighter.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling social media posts and being able to lump all my posts together for social platforms.
Ease of use
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy the platform is to use from login to finishing up any task. The UI is seamless, and I have no problems collaborating with other companies that we partner with through it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The change when a social post goes from not live to live, I wish I could still preview the post like it wasnt live even after as its an easier view for my needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows our partner agency to upload their plans, their posts, and their schedules, but allow us to see those updates in real time which is super helpful.
Create, plan, and publish content with ease
What do you like best about the product?
My team and I appreciate the ability to collaborate and plan on an easy-to-use platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no function to post stories, to my knowledge, so you have to go in and manually create those in the apps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating content in advance to have steady flow of media while creating "live" and more involved content throughout steady planned content.
Expensive but a great tool
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social has been an essential tool in managing and optimizing our social media strategy. One of my favorite features is the Optimal Send Time tool. It takes the guesswork out of scheduling by identifying the best times to publish based on audience engagement patterns, helping us maximize reach and interaction with our content.
I also really value the Content Approval Process. The built-in workflow allows our team to collaborate seamlessly while maintaining quality control. It ensures that all content is reviewed and approved efficiently, minimizing errors and aligning posts with our brand voice.
Lastly, the Grid View and Planning feature is a game-changer for visual content strategy. Being able to preview how posts will look in a grid format—especially for platforms like Instagram—makes it much easier to maintain a cohesive aesthetic and plan ahead with confidence.
Overall, Sprout Social brings together powerful functionality with user-friendly design, making it an indispensable part of our daily workflow.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sprout Social comes with a high price tag—currently around $200 per month per user. This can quickly add up for teams, and many advanced features are locked behind higher-tier plans, which means you often need to upgrade just to access tools that feel like they should be standard.
For teams or individuals with a healthy budget and a need for robust scheduling, collaboration, and analytics features, Sprout Social is a great option. But for smaller organizations or solo users, the cost and tiered limitations may be a significant barrier.

Simplifies Social Media Scheduling with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I use Sprout Social for social media content scheduling, copywriting, and reporting on organic social media content. It saves me time on editing when clients have feedback because I can easily and quickly access content for the entire month and edit posts accordingly. It also saves me time on reporting because everything I need is offered in the Report dashboard within Sprout. I like how user-friendly it is, and I find the Report tab very easy to use. The initial setup for my team was simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were a MUCH better function for clients to review the monthly social media content. I also wish the inbox were more accurate. I've found too many discrepancies that I just can't use that feature anymore because I don't trust it. Also, not having a function for clients to review (without jumping through all these hoops that don't actually work/limiting how many external emails can be added) is one of the biggest downsides to Sprout. Don't limit the number of external emails you can have. Feels sooo gatekeep-y. The inbox inaccuracy, I would suggest working better on your API to best pull in that data accurately. I know it's a tough one, but at the point of how it currently operates, I can't trust it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social saves me time on editing and reporting by providing easy access to monthly content and comprehensive reporting tools.
2 time using Sprout in the last 6 years at 2 Companies
What do you like best about the product?
Convenience of bringing in all profiles into one place as well as the reporting. We use reporting to educate stakeholders and make strategy decisions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost to add on services like influencers or listening. It is very pricey. I also feel that cahrging by license is soon going to be a model of the past.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reporting so we can learn from campaigns. We are a small company and need all metrics.
