Great tool. Some improvments could be made, but overall makes my life SO much easier!
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about Sprout Social is the scheduling calendar and reporting. being able to see my upcoming posts as a glance and set paramaters for cross posting, label posts, even just move them around. The reporting is great too - I have to do a monthly report and sprout gives me all of the informaton I need and more. I'm much more confident in meeting knowing i can easily back up my statements with hard data.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I find difficulat with sprout social is it can be slow to catch up with features - for example, Instagram now lets you post up to 20 images in a carousel, but Spout still limits it to 10. Not a big deal, more annoying than anything. Also not being able to schedule instagram stories with a link.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of so many social platforms - I can see whats coming up in all of my accounts in one place, and toggle different accounts on our off if i only want to see one. I cant imagine how else I would do that. Also being able to schedule posts for multiple accounts in one go. Saves so much time from entering each one individually natively. It sounds a bit obvious, but its such a help.
Efficient Social Media Management, Needs Better Collaboration Tools
What do you like best about the product?
I personally appreciate the opportunity to schedule posts for a long range and tag them under specific campaigns. This makes it easy for me to pull analytical data to see how they are performing and report back to upper management. It helps me stay organized and manage multiple pieces of content, allowing me to realize what resonates most with our users. Additionally, it helps us capture more data.
What do you dislike about the product?
I personally would like to see Sprout Social make collaborations easier. We're not currently able to collaborate on Facebook, and that is something that we would really like between some of the pages that we manage as well as some of our affiliates that we work with on a regular basis. We have to move ourselves into the native app of Facebook in order to do that. I also would like to see the ability to use trending audio on Instagram and Facebook Reels that are created within the app itself. That's a big downfall for us, especially trying to hop on trends.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social for consistent brand awareness, planning, and multipage management. It helps me stay organized, manage content effectively, and understand user engagement by capturing data.
Simple publishing, powerful reporting.
What do you like best about the product?
From everything I’ve seen, it has by far the most powerful tools for social. Every day I’m learning more about its capabilities and smoothing out our social media processes with Sprout’s help.
What do you dislike about the product?
The asset library feature turned out not to be as robust as we were hoping and proved to be a labeling nightmare, but we just keep a dedicated asset folder on our internal server now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
More than anything, we care about it as an excellent scheduler. We have made occasional use of the listening tools and reports—and always find something useful—but it does the basics better than anyone we’ve come across.
Robust Tool with Intuitive Usability and Custom Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
I find Sprout Social extremely usable and intuitive. I like the custom reporting and how easy it is to pull specific metrics. It's great to have a variety of workflows under one tool, which makes my job a lot easier. I need to pull different data every day for different purposes, and the tags and custom reports help me do that easily. The training I received was extremely useful and we've been able to set up Sprout to work exactly as we need it to.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think sentiment reporting is great on social listening. I think listening for broad topics, like brand mentions and competitive analysis, could be improved. I don't always trust the sentiment analysis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social for social media scheduling, reporting, social listening, community management, and employee advocacy. It enables our social media team to handle most daily tasks in one place.

What do you like best about the product?
I have used Sprout Social since 2017 when I first started working in Social Media Marketing. It's always been a solid platform that is very user-friendly. I love being able to see all the comments/messages from all the pages I manage in one feed. I also enjoy the publishing calendar and how easy it is to edit and move things around as necessary. When it comes to reporting, it's nice to be able to download a pdf and csv for my respective leaders who prefer one over the other. Whenever I have needed to reach out for assistance, a representative from Sprout has always been professional and supportive. I usually get my questions answered quickly. Sprout has a been a solid part of my daily work for several years now and I highly recommend their platform for anyone working in social media.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Sprout Social is the plans and seat configuration. It was quite pricy to get 2 seats, but luckily, Sprout was willing to work with my nonprofit organization to make something work! Additionally, there have been feature requests I have submitted with my last few jobs, and I'm always met with the "we'll pass along to our product development team". This is a hospitable response, but as someone who works in social media and engages with customers, guests, and followers - I, too, have used a form of this response for things that will never lead anywhere. Would love to see some of the feature requests submitted in the years past be actually considered. Thanks!

It's helping us monitor engagement across all of our pages, and allows us to measure our content.
An easy way to get all the social stats I need

It gives me all the stats I need for multiple clients in one place and I can switch between platforms easily

What do you like best about the product?
With the help of Sprout Social, we have been able to shorten our response time from over a week to approximately 1 day. It has also allowed us to achieve our content goals for making it simple to post across multiple networks and accounts at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've struggled some with getting automation up and running. We're hoping for some solutions soon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout has helped us respond to all incoming social interactions in one place instead of managing multiple accounts in each platform, saving us time and effort. Our team has been able to proactively collaborate with each other and our agency in Sprout, which is helpful in social content creation.

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social is GREAT at analytics. We recently reviewed all major social media management tools out there, and we decided to keep Sprout because no other tool offered the same functionality and UX as sprout.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sprout's Social Listening tool leaves something to be desired, but their team is so optimistic about it that they decided to throw in one listening topic for our plan renewal. That is a wonderful thing that they're so open to it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We own a lot of brands, so it is great to organize and set everything up by brand with Sprout Social. It's a wonderful and effective way to manage all of our tools. Also, when it comes to Social Media Analytics, it is excellent. We currently have the advanced plan with premium and I get to build our own reports for primary stakeholders, and it's wonderful and user-friendly.
