Convenience, but not without shortcomings

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to view and reply to comments, and see when we are mentioned (not just tagged!). I also love that for every post, Sprout suggests optimal posting times. As a daily Sprout user, the features are valuable in simplifying my processes where possible. Without Sprout, social media management would take much longer. It helps me keep track of everything, stay organized, and the reports feature is a great add-on.
What do you dislike about the product?
Many of the shortcomings of Sprout Social are not easily solvable, as I realize it can be complicated for social apps to allow certain configurations (tagging on LinkedIn, adding an Instagram story, viewing DMs on Instagram, etc.). The apps that do allow integration are great, but it can be difficult to remember what must be done manually.

One of our biggest complaints is that the cost of Sprout continues to increase, and we don't feel like the quality of the product is increasing to match that price. Last year, when we tried to reach out about a sudden price increase, we struggled to get in touch with anyone in customer support soon enough to be able to make a truly educated decision on our plan. We pay a hefty price, and still many of the new features are not usable until we upgrade even more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using the tagging feature, we can pull data as it relates to each department in my organization. This helps us keep track of how different types of posts are performing and let's us know where we are falling short. This data is useful in making cases for more or fewer posts and proves the value of certain departments.

An easy way for multiple users to draft content for the same client and be able to see what we're all doing so we're better organized and coordinated.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to use from scheduling posts to gathering data!
What do you dislike about the product?
That there are no more training opportunities to dive deep into learning. Also, Nextdoor is not a platform integrated yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling posts to multiple platforms and gatering data effectively and efficiently.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can use the app to monitor my platforms on the go. I also really enjoy the premium analytics feature, it truly gives a much more in-depth look at your performance and the ability to make strategic decisions a lot easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
I simply wish it integrated better with the API's of LinkedIn and Meta. Also not being able to personalize and customize the report dashboards with my branding to share with leadership.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem Sprout Social is solving for me and my organization is number one scheduling content and being able to provide a content calendar to my team as well as being able to have access to in-depth analytics to be able to make decisions based on data and KPI metrics. This benefits me because it makes my job easier and I'm able to support decisions with emperical data.

Great Tool for Social Media

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how Sprout is constantly updating to meet the needs of modern social media, which are always changing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sprout is a really great tool, but I wish they would open up more of their reporting features to lower tier members. It's not a cheap tool and as a nonprofit, we just can't spend thousands more. I don't like that part of Sprout.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest reason I use Sprout is for social media pubslishing and analytics all in one place. I also like the inbox feature.

Sometimes it's a little buggy but that's expected with a lot of social scheduling tools!

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social has made scheduling social posts so simple and seamless. I love the Insta stories integration and having control over what I add to my stories. I'm also a big fan of having all my companies' social reviews and DMs in one place for responding.
What do you dislike about the product?
I know that social media moves fast and new companies are sprouting up all the time, but it would be great to be able to post to Threads, Bluesky, and TikTok. X is not helping anyone. Of course these might be available and my company hasn't bought the licensing for them yet. Which is why I wish Sprout would change their pricing so all social platforms were included for a company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I run socials for 10 different entities under 1 corporate umbrella, so it is very nice to be able to plan everything at once in one place. It's also extremely convenient to have access to reviews for all of those entities in 1 place - but I'm not sure why TripAdvisor and Yelp are separate from the Sprout platform.

What do you like best about the product?
Having everything regarding our social media management in one place is a total game changer for our small agency. As the creative director, I'm able to oversee all of our different clients, posts, messages, reviews, etc. in one place and make efficient edits if needed. It was extremely easy to onboard our team, and implement the process into our day-to-day workflow. We use the platform daily, and it was easy to integrate with our client's needs and processes.
Obviously the Support team is helpful in resolving issues, but I've really enjoyed how they always follow through to make sure the resolution worked for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
"Need Approval" posts expiring, not being able to share stories to Facebook, wish there were more video-friendly options like editing videos or adding music

Efficiently managing multiple accounts on multiple platforms
Consolidating reviews/messages/comments/etc. all in one place

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate that Sprout Social is user-friendly, making it easy for new team members to learn the tools and quickly get up to speed. The platform simplifies the process of monitoring, scheduling, and managing social channels, especially for nonprofit and small business clients, by centralizing all activities, which eliminates the need to switch between various native channels. This convenience significantly reduces time and effort. Additionally, the platform offers insightful analytics and competitor data, allowing my small team to effectively function as a much larger team. The ability to quickly export reports when needed for client presentations is also highly beneficial. Moreover, Sprout Social provides excellent resources such as training calls and demo materials to help train new employees, which is crucial for getting them familiar with client performance metrics. I also have fond memories of the initial setup being straightforward and streamlined, which contributed to a hassle-free start. The overall experience has been so positive that we confidently recommend and endorse Sprout Social to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a small business, I am always conscious of costs, and this is an ongoing consideration for me. While Sprout Social does offer an agency model, which has not seen significant price increases over the years, I feel that more tools tailored specifically for nonprofit-serving agencies would be extremely beneficial.

I use Sprout Social to monitor, schedule, and manage client social channels seamlessly, centralizing activities that save us from juggling multiple native platforms. It empowers my small team to operate like a larger one by providing analytics and competitive insights, enabling smarter and faster decision-making.

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the platform and its ease of use. The analytics, especially pulling data on tagged posts and campaigns, is amazing for proving our ROI and segmenting effectively. Analytics can be pulled at a very granular level, which is great for our individual stakeholders. Scheduling the same graphic with different captions across various platforms saves me hours. The onboarding team is amazing, and their support made the initial setup a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Sprout Social could use improvements in recommendations for enhancing social strategy or incorporating more AI capabilities. Right now, it's just the caption help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social for scheduling and analytics, which save me hours and provide granular insights. The employee advocacy and ease of use are great, and pulling data on tagged posts and campaigns helps prove ROI.
