Graphic designer emjoying all the features Sprout Social offers
What do you like best about the product?
Content scheduling is very helpful to stay organized. Growing our social media presence is one of my goals and Sprout Social helps us post consistently, be responsive to our audience with the direct message feature and view analytics to improve our content.
What do you dislike about the product?
The quality of customer support can vary, and it sometimes takes a while to resolve issues. Also when I am training new employees on the platform, I have gotten feedback that It is not very intuitive and they disliked the user interface.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social helps me as a graphic designer and marketer at San Diego State University by streamlining my workflow and enhancing my social media strategy. The efficient content scheduling, collaboration features, and comprehensive analytics allow me to plan, create and measure the impact of our social media campaigns. Additionally, the platform's direct message management capabilities allow me to respond to inquiries promptly while maintaining brand consistency and using the message approval feature for my assistants to create and me to review.
The Ultimate Social Media Management Experience
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can schedule all of my posts in one place and easily respond to reviews, comments, and messages.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that Facebook story publishing is not yet available. I still have to use Meta Business Suite for this feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rather than use multiple sites to access all of my social media accounts, Sprout Social allows me to manage everything in one convenient place.
The best social media tool I've tried
What do you like best about the product?
Analytics - hands down. The ability to separate posts by tag, campaign, platform, type, etc has been transformational. I once had problems at work with the team not having enough visibility into how each type of post is performing. This was before Sprout, and I ended up manually pulling the stats for each post from the past 6-12 months. This was tedeious and endless, also prone to human error. Since then I found Sprout and has been recommending it at every company I've worked at.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some API limititations from social platforms themselves that prevent me from tagging people in Sprout. I wish this wasn't the case. Because of this, I still have to go and manually tag people on LinkedIn for example. This isn't Sprout's fault though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating scheduling, posting and evaluating social media efforts.

What do you dislike about the product?
Because it has so much it can take a while to learn where everything is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We love that everything is all in one place, rather than over a few applications.

Sprout is one of the most user-friendly and practical social media platforms
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive interface, data and insights are easy to use and cut in different ways.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some functionalities on Meta platforms (eg: Instagram stories / Engagement tools / Facebook cross-posting) are not available - which creates a need to have to go on-platform to use them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlining and creating efficiencies in our social content outputs and reporting.
Easy to use

Does everything I need for social media management.

The cost can be quite high as you develop your brand and work into all the benefits.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Central management and managing overall brand voice and monitoring.
Tony's Review
What do you like best about the product?
The user experience. All the features are easily accessible and easily understood.
What do you dislike about the product?
You cannot publish pdf's via LinkedIn. You also cannot edit posts for different platforms via the compose panel. Unfortunately, you have to schedule and then duplicate the draft one platform at a time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping us manage our social media presence.
Great platform
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and the frequency of use. Sprout is an important tool that helps with scheduling, reporting and responding to the audience
What do you dislike about the product?
Price including the extras which all add up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling and reporting
Solid Social Media Management tool
What do you like best about the product?
In-depth reporting analytics with beautiful charts, and very intuitive to use the platform overall. Great calendar/planner and tools for publishing, social listening, and so on.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that we can't post 100% of our social content through Sprout. There are blockers for certain types of LinkedIn posts: document uploading for carousels is not possible, and the tagging feature doesn't work unless someone followes your page - but this isn't a problem on LinkedIn itself. Competitive reports also aren't available for LinkedIn. On Twitter/X, you can't make a second tweet attached to your first one - and the Canva integration is also very limited. Overall, there are more minor hiccups like these than I would have expected, but still enjoy the platform overall.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Posting everything from the same place (but this isn't 100% solved given the limitations outlined for some types of posts).
