Highly responsive
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive interface with a responsive support team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some fairly basic features, like Listening, are available only for an additional fee. I feel the cost is high enough to warrant inclusion of these features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's greatest feature is the approval workflow that ensures we meet compliance requirements.
Helpful for reporting & community management

Reporting is so much easier with Sprout and I really like using the Smart Inbox feaure
What do you dislike about the product?
There's notthing wrong with the product. My team doesn't use Sprout for scheduling so I can't speak much there but overall I think it's a good tool.

Sprout Social is Great, 95% of the time!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the analytics in sprout social. It's nice to be able to create my weekly and monthly social reports by mostly just reviewing the analytics sprout has pulled. I love how easy it is to duplicate a post and post to multiple platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that sprout doesn't allow you to post videos to Pinterest, video is growing on Pinterest and having to manully do it outside of sprout is frustrating as I like to schedule things out. I've been using sprout for a number of years with various companies and I hate that when a push notification is sent and clicked on, if the post doesn't work, it just goes away. I wish their was a draft saved just incase this happens, because it happens fairly frequently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling on multiple platforms and reporting on them as well as community management in one place.
The Best Social Tool Out There
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout's ability to stay organized and provide insight into performance is truly the best in the game. I also love their AI copy feature and Viral Post capability.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was the ability to schedule Instagram Stories with tags and Instagram Carousels with music.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to plan and check my content for multiple clients all in one platform.
Comprehensive Social Media Scheduling, Engagement, Listening, and More
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout has revolutionized my workflow as a social media manager. Its features for scheduling content across multiple platforms, implementing approval workflows for manager input, and tracking all our KPIs in one place have significantly enhanced our social media strategy. The platform’s seamless integration with our existing tools made the transition smooth and efficient. Additionally, the thorough training from the Sprout onboarding team made it easy for us to master the platform. Thanks to their support, we fully transitioned to Sprout in under a month. It’s now an integral part of our daily routine, from scheduling and interacting to evaluating our marketing success.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far we haven't noticed too many downsides. Some of the main compliants are mostly a result of API issues that come from the social platforms themselves. For example, tagging instagram pages requires social managers to type in the exact user handle and doesn't provide a pop-up selection like it does for Facebook. Or in Listening, most of the options are in X syntax, which isn't as helpful for us because X is our least-used platform. Overall, we are still satistfied with the services that Sprout offers and see little downsides!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of our biggest problems on our team was related to social approval processes. Before Sprout, we would write up the calendar in an email with attachements. Often times, this would get lost in busy inboxes, but with Sprout Approval Workflows, my managers can see the content and comment any changes they have before it is published. I like that they get emails for each individual piece of content I send their way. I also like that I can set up different steps in the approval process so different levels of managers can review in hierarchal order. Now, content isn't published without several people seeing it and approving, which is great for our kind of business that has a lot of regulations.
Great Platform, Could Be More Modern
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social is great scheduling social media posts without the headache. This platform walks you through best practices and must-haves for your strategy, and works as a team member!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sprout Social should have an agency setting - here's what I want to see as a Digital Content Manager of a digital marketing agency.
- Ability to request approval for entire month all in 1 email: As an agency, we schedule "September Posts" and "October Posts" well in advance. My clients don't want indivdual emails for each post. They want to see September or October in ONE viewing window to provide feedback and approval.
- WHY... Why limit the number of approvers for the ACCOUNT vs the groups? Each group is a CLIENT - each client has 2-3 people involved who want to see the posts and approve or provide feedback. Charging more for this feature is a MAJOR point for us to consider other scheudling platforms.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To be fair, Customer Service is responsive. However, I don't feel that our problems have been resolved. It's frustrating that we are expected to pay more for the number of approvers per account vs per group. Each "group" is a client - we only use SS for 3 clients plus our own brand. We need about 8 external approvers - but alas... our ACCOUNT can only have... 4? Doesn't make sense and is CLEARLY not set up for an agency.
My Positive Experience with Sprout Social
What do you like best about the product?
What I love most about Sprout is how easy and intuitive it is to use. In the campaigns section, I appreciate that you can add a description of what the campaign is about, ensuring you always have the necessary information to organize your posts. I love the AI assistant that provides caption options for posts and the suggested posting times are very accurate. Additionally, Sprout offers very useful analytics to help us determine if our content is on the right track or if adjustments are needed.
I also appreciated the onboarding process we received at the beginning; the team was very friendly, patient, and provided all the necessary information to get started with the tool.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I don’t like is that I can’t schedule PDFs for LinkedIn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout helps make scheduling content simpler and more accurate. It’s simple because I’ve used other tools that require more steps and clicks to perform an action, but with Sprout, you can do it in just one click. It’s accurate because it provides precise information on when to post and how my content is currently performing, giving me ideas on how to improve it. Additionally, I can see messages from all social media platforms in one place without having to open each platform’s page separately.
Makes collaboration and review easy!
What do you like best about the product?
Approving and editing posts from my social media marketing group is quick and easy. If there is an edit, the comments are great, so I'm not actually touching the post.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform takes a little bit get used to navigating it and getting every user the correct permissions.
