Sprout makes my job so much better.
What do you like best about the product?
I love Sprout's easy interface for scheduling out posts, and I love love LOVE the reporting. So quickly I can find the info I need, get insights into what's working and what's not, and plan accordingly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the support for government agencies were better. I work for a small government agency. A lot of the stuff on the community site (Arb) is for folks who work at agencies or for private companies. That's good and valuable, but I don't see anything for government specifically. I feel like there must be other government agencies using Sprout, and this could be a good place to connect but I don't have time to hunt them down.
Also, I want the find content function to work for my organization. This is challenging because my agency is a government watchdog so we talk about government transparncy and efficiency and things like that. (Admittedly challenging topics!) When I search those terms, I get articles about the government agent who testified that there are indeed UFOs.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling my social media used to be a weekly nightmare. Our approval process is quite rigorous, and before Sprout I had to manually schedule out on three different platforms.
Analytics reporting is so much better for the same reason -- it's all in one place.

Customer Experience
What do you like best about the product?
The app is very user-friendly and makes it simple to communicate with colleagues. I find the ability to select and delete multiple items at once extremely helpful. Its organized layout also makes navigation straightforward and efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are occasional minor glitches when replying to comments, but these usually resolve themselves after refreshing the page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to complete far more orders in a shorter amount of time.

Everything needed to accurately manage and account and provide analytics is in one place.

Nothing- I've never found a better tool.

What do you like best about the product?
Since joining back in April, my team and I have greatly benefited from the responsive customer service team, but also the community based side of sprout! The ability to add additional logins quickly without budgetary constraints was also a key deciding factor for our organization, and we couldn't be happier.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the planning reporting and scalability of the program is excellent, many of the features that make sprout truly valuable are within social listening, which is behind an additional pay Wall. Wow, this will probably be addressed in the future any of the complementary listening tools that are given for free solely within Twitter, which is losing Value by the day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to tag user content to identify patterns for other teams to address is incredibly helpful. We no longer have to export videos at various sizes for them to load properly through the system, which is a limitation of many other planning platforms and was an efficiency killer for content team. The mobile app also has many powerful features that allow us to respond to incoming traffic that might be something that can't wait until morning.
The posting optimization times have also greatly helped as well as the sprout link integration through Instagram to make a seamless link in no additional cost.
The tremendous amount of learning resources has also made on boarding for new users a relatively painless experience!

Great Service, A Few Hiccups Though
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social is an easy tool to use! The On-Boarding customer service representatives make it easy to adjust to all of the functions and purposes of Sprout. I mainly use the Publishing, Smart Inbox and Reports tabs and they are also all very easy to navigate and understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the biggest downsides of Sprout Social is the disconnection frequency, especially for companies that manage a number of social media accounts. I work for a property management company that manages about 90 social media accounts total and the disconnection of the profiles don't fall within the "90 day" period, and instead some of our profiles disconnect frequently (we've gotten over 4 disconnection emails in the last month with each email stating that 6-7 accounts have disconnected). The issue has never gotten solved, and there seems to be no way to solve for it. Meta has stated that it isn't an API limitation either.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They make it easier for us to manage over 90 different social media accounts, and easier for us to break down the social media analytics.
Streamlined
What do you like best about the product?
Tracking of analytics is the most helpful, before Sprout Social it was harder to keep track of each platform separately.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is not necessarily something about Sprout Social itself moreso how we are using it, but the limit in topics for social listening. I would like for there to be more seats.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social is solving our problems of understanding the impact of our work in communications. We can better track how effective our work is in reaching our audience.

love working with sprout. Working with outside creative agencies and using sprout has made approving and posting content seamless

Colaboration between manufacturer and agency in posting and reviewing content on social. Tracking results is bennifiting our team
We transitioned from Hootsuite to Sprout and have been more than pleased with my experience

the UX is very nice, all settings are easy to find and makes posting on socials much more easier. My company used to use Hootsuite and when we announce the transition to Sprout I was worried about transition but it was a smooth transition and an even smoother user interface

I have yet to face downsides from Sprout, I have only used it for scheduling posts and reviewing analytics so besides that I cannot speak on other aspects of Sprout

The ability to post on multiple platforms and monitor analytics/performance from our posts. It benefits us as we are able to see where our posts are working and where they are not
A good solution for mid-sized companies
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Sprout Social is integrated with so many platforms, and can auto-publish to everything except stories. It also has great workflow capabilities for teams and I cannot emphasize enough how many times the "pause posting" button has been helpful.

For both small and large companies, Sprout is a cost-prohibitive solution that does not scale incredibly well.

It's invaluable to my organization to schedule content multiple days out that the team can review. Also having cross-platform reporting capabilities is an absolutely essential.
Robust platform, lots of available tools. Some restrictions can be hard to work around.
What do you like best about the product?
Lost of tools to make your posts perform better. I really like the suggested times to post feature. Allows targeted focus on demographics and industries.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost is very high compared to other platforms. Our current plan restricts the number of users (2) and number of social media platforms. Upgrades are available but at a higher cost. Other companies offer unlimited site and unlimited users for almost half the cost of Sprout Social.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saves time with the publishing calendar. Plus you can push the same post to multiple platforms at once, and even schedule content weeks/months ahead. This is a great time saving tool.
