A big fan of Sprout Social!
What do you like best about the product?
It's extremely user-friendly and digestible. I like being able to show my clients the reports without needed much explaination.
What do you dislike about the product?
The continuous disconnection of all our accounts. Too many times do we have posts failed due to a connection issue with no true solution available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout offers a nice view at our monthly editorial calendars for each client and allows us to showcase a client their pages success easily.
A great platform with a few kinks in need of solving.
What do you like best about the product?
The report structure is great... There are a few things, like impression numbers that I don't quite understand but other than that everything is very detailed and easily sharable to clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest issue is the constant profile disconnects that happens almost weekly with all of our linked accounts. The beauty of the automated posting is that the user doesn't have to hop online to post for their clients during the weekend, yet I'm noticing that I'm doing that almost every week because a profile got discounted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout gives me a platform that allows me to organize all of my client's posts into one centralized place, making it extremely easy to creat content calendars and share them for edits.
Customer Friendly and Responsive
What do you like best about the product?
New Sprout user here! First, I'm shocked at how quickly we can get a REAL answer from support. This was a pain point for my team and one of the driving factors for us seeking out a new solution. The platform seems much more user-friendly than our previous vendor's, and my team has shared nothing but positive feedback since we switched. Our onboarding process was easy. The reps are kind and treat you like a human. The platform is easy to navigate, and the price point was a pleasant surprise.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the premium reporting features weren't an upcharge and were part of the standard package. Having a cap on the number of accounts that can be included in a particular folder/group was a slight inconvenience, but easily remedied by our account rep.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Sprout to monitor and post to our social channels across multiple locations. Having everything in a singular location saves my team time. It's also nice to be able to compare our posts with those of our competitors to see possibilities for growth and change in our own social strategies.

What do you like best about the product?
The scheduling tool has many similar features to posting directly from instagram such as tagging a location, account, etc that other scheduling tools don't have
What do you dislike about the product?
I have only just started using Sprout Social so I haven't personally seen any downsides as of yet.

It is very useful in creating social media reports and managing multiple accounts
Sprout is affordable + powerful
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout offers high performance social media software at an affordable price. It's a great option for brands, agencies, freelancers, consultants, and others wanting to manage social media publishing, analytics, and social listening.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only negatives to Sprout is that it is not the best option for large, global, enterprise clients. There are other tools available that offer more scaleable solutions for brands that need account support for many channels, deep listening capabilities, and completely customizable workflows, automations, and settings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout allows our small team to manage post scheduling/planning for multiple channels, reporting/analytics for all channels, social listening, easy to use reporting dashboards, and more.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the reporting capabilities. I frequently get asked about overall social media performance and before Sprout, I spent a LOT of time compiling analytics from each platform's analytics database into a cumulative report. Now, I can easily send performance weekly with one click!
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I've noticed could be improved is the tagging capabilities within the publishing tool. It takes a long time for tags to pop up, and on certain platforms, they won't pop up at all. It would be great to not have to go back after something is posted to add the tags!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout is helping me immensely with reporting and digesting analytics quickly to adjust our content strategy as needed. This benefits me by taking time off my plate that I used to have to dedicate to compiling analytics from each social media platform into one document. Sprout also helps a lot with the management of our profiles and with monitoring the engagement of our community online.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to track listening of communities with particular keywords. Option to omit certain keywords is also a useful feature

For a beginner the dashboard seems complicated

It helps me track keywords from certain social media websites. Helps me save a lot of time
Useful Tool
What do you like best about the product?
You can get most things in one place. From the insights to your calendar to your multiple accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you want to post on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn, for example - you can't tag the businesses all at once. You have to go in one by one to tag them since they have different handles. It kind of defeats the purpose and can be extremely time-consuming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's good to have comments from all your pages in one place. Like if someone comments on Instagram, LinkedIn, twitter, facebook - you see them all in one feed. You can't respond to an Instagram story though - but maybe one day.
Great for content management
What do you like best about the product?
Once you understand the layout of Sprout Social, content management becomes really easy. It's great to see a side-by-side comparison of your draft and how it would appear on the social media platform you're posting on. Additionally, the ability to schedule posts is very useful, as well as have team conversations.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a learning curve in my opinion with Sprout Social. It took me a while to figure out the layout, etc. and even still I find myself lost at times. For example, I made a draft of a post one time, saved it as a draft, and couldn't find it under "Drafts" - for some reason, it was under "Needs Approval."
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It brings everything I need to pay attention to into one place to make it easier to manage - I don't have to run around individual social media platforms drafting content, monitoring individual hashtags, etc.
The software makes social media posts look very simple and aesthetically cleaner.
What do you like best about the product?
There isn't a cluster of posts and things that I don't need to see, I only see whats necessary to address consumer's concerns.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the messages won't load and I have to reload the page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am now able to see previous messages from consumers and anytime they've reached out to us, that is very resourceful.
