Sprout Social is a must-have tool for social scheduling
What do you like best about the product?
I like using the Instagram Grid Planner to take a look at what our feed can potentially look like, which allows a more consistent brand voice. I also like using the scheduling tool. it's extremely reliable, which has been hard to come by with other brands.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't love the layout of the dashboard. I feel like it's a bit chaotic to find where I need to go for the tools I use. I think it could be good to use words instead of symbols on the menu.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social is helping us schedule weekend content when our staff is off, allowing them to stay offline on offline hours. It's extremely reliable so we don't even have to worry about our posts going up.
Recommend Sprout Social
What do you like best about the product?
The best features about sprout is being able to create and post social media posts for Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. The ability to schedule posts ahead of time and view the post performance for every single post. I think the performance reviews are a good way to analyze which posts did well and why they did better when compared to your other posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think one downside with sprout is the struggle to tag other people/organizations for your social media posts. For example, if I want to highlight an organization on Facebook and Twitter, there's no means for me to tag them on the post without linking them with a link. Instead, what I'd like to do is use a hyperlink.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's giving users the solutions to figuring out when is the appropriate times to posts and visually see which posts are performing well and why some posts perform poorly.
Best on the market, some room for improvement in Instagram functionality
What do you like best about the product?
Solid way to collaborate with a team on social media posts - publishing tools are robust. Works exceptional on Facebook and twitter, allows for easy communication with team members and the public.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sprout lacks long-term functionality with Instagram - not all IG content displays properly on a desktop, and users are unable to respond to DMs older than seven days.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing me to use the company's social media platforms but still provide oversight to direct management.
A decent platform
What do you like best about the product?
There aren't limited users and it's got some great standard reporting capabilities
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting was quite limited and posting certain types of content was a struggle
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a good all round tool and helps post and engage with the community.
How easy Sprout can be used
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can filter by section and by oldest to make sure you are reviewing all the interactions from Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and tick-tock posts. This way, we are confident that all interactions are viewed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't particularly appreciate that there wasn't a tour to see where or how to start. At first, getting the hang of it was a bit complicated, but after that, it's been much easier to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
What Sprout benefits us is that we're ensuring that we are interacting with positive posts and any customer services issues that we can respond to when they can be missed with thousand of comments coming in.
Figuring it out!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Sprout is more customizable than Hootsuite which we were using previously.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our onboarding process hasn't been as supportive as I thought it would be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The reporting piece is benefiting us the most, in the past, it was very manual.
Great UI for Social Media Response Team (Customer Care)
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout has given us a comprehensive overview of our online customers and more insight into their profiles.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest downside is that with our Sprout Social integration, we cannot use our pre-saved templates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout helps us respond to our consumers in a comprehensive and easy way.

Metrics
What do you like best about the product?
It's very helpful as I'm analyzing our social posts each month and quarter. I can export a CSV for all posts within a date range. Provides good visuals that I can include when giving PPT presentations with screenshots from Sprout.
What do you dislike about the product?
CSV file - linked content column does not always pull in the CTA from posts. I need the data consistent in the column when I'm reviewing where my content team has linked to, so I can analyze how many links went to our website from social and determine impact. I'd also like follower growth that happened in between posts so we can get a good idea of what posts are most effective and we can change/cater our content to each social channel. Would love google UTM link builder within the tool so I don't have to build them out separately the tool handles it for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can review all of our channels in one location without having to go to each individual profile. I do have to spend time sorting through what type of post it is, and unfortunately, that is the paid tier we are in so it's not included. Thought that would be a standard feature and not an upsell.
