Reporting & analytics functionality, integrations across channels, ease of content planning/scheduling, user notes
What do you dislike about the product?
TBD - looking forward to using the program more. However, it would be helpful if Sprout provided training and best practice resources for both marketing leaders and operational users.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
The onboarding process has been smooth and there has been support readily available. The program seems to have all the functionality we need, and more! Looking forward to building our social media marketing plans using Sprout.
Efficient, robust, and insightful
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to see all your data in one place, compare accounts and competitors, and save time. It's also great that you can assign tasks to coworkers and request approval before posts go out.
What do you dislike about the product?
The extra step to post on Instagram stories.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reporting, analytics, and competitor insights.
Nice combo of team mgmt and listening
What do you like best about the product?
That it has both the team mgmt and the listening capabilities.super user friendly and intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting isn't great, there's no room for customization. Themes are great but you can't auto generate a report which shows your different themes compared against the main listening topic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We want to see all our posts in one place, check on their performance, and do some light listening.
Best in class - there's really no comparison
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Sprout is not just built to achieve simple tasks like publishing. It's built from the ground up to use social media effectively in our marketing campaigns. Every feature just *feels* right. Because it's so intuitively designed, it allows us to tell a really comprehensive and data-driven story to our clients, which in turn gives them confidence in us.
What do you dislike about the product?
As with any premium tool, the price reflects the value. A lot of competitors have more affordable packages, but they all ended up leaving us frustrated by the extra effort and obstacles their functionality created.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout allows our social services to all live on one platform. The vast array of functionality and integrations allow us to run everything under the Sprout umbrella.
User-friendly, helpful platform
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing about Sprout is its ease of use. I very rarely have an issue scheduling our social media posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about Sprout is that only one user can be in the platform at a time, which isn't helpful when both myself and a teammate need to schedule posts or access reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Sprout, I am able to schedule all of my social media posts very quickly. With LinkedIn, you are unable to schedule posts like you can in Facebook so Sprout is able to quickly post everything at the same time, across all sites. I also really appreciate the reporting that I access at the end of every quarter. The numbers are very helpful and I am able to easily report back to our Board with numbers that are both accurate and easy to understand.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sprout is an awesome tool! I'd definitely recommend it. Be sure to frequently check that none of your posts failed and to ensure that all of your accounts are properly linked, as they can expire. Also, I'd recommend only using jpgs when uploading photos since I've had issues with pngs!
Sprout review from a nonprofit perspective
What do you like best about the product?
There are lots of cool features and we have the ability to easily access the various features of each social media platform. Sprout has been an upgrade from Sendible, which is the social media management platform we used previously. We also like the ability to internally tag the posts and analyze which types are bringing in more reach and engagement. Jesse, our Customer Success Manager who helped us onboard, was also very accessible, honest, and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are too many buttons and navigation bars in the platform, so it could be difficult to navigate the platform at first. Some of the integrations are a bit confusing, and it would be great to have more Help Center articles about them. It's also difficult to know what level of permissions we each have, so somehow categorizing and label the different account levels would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been using Sprout to manage our various social media accounts across different teams. It's given us the ability to schedule posts in advance and see everything laid out in the calendar. Analytics have also been a pain point in the past, and Sprout's anlaytics are very attractive and useful. We also love the ability to look into analytics of posts in the past (before we started using Sprout).

Try it first as there is a one-month trial and you can see if it. fits your own goals.
Take advantage of the support team - from our experience, they respond really quickly and can help you navigate the different components of the platform.

What do you like best about the product?
Reporting is what sold me on Sprout. I love the variations that I can put together to pull custom reporting for my clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
Social Profiles should include one account per Network for each handle. Looking at a business IG and business FB account as different social profiles seems costly, and adding more profiles also becomes expensive. For the amount I pay monthly, I should efficiently service ten clients (multiple social profiles), but I am unable. It is limiting to the growth of my Agency.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can now export and send custom reports to my clients, which is essential for growing Social Media Accounts.

What do you like best about the product?
I really love the reporting functions; it's very easy to see all of our metrics to help inform our social strategy. I use the graphs to report on our successes to the rest of the team.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice if you could add personal LinkedIn pages, though I think that might be a limitation with LinkedIn?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've used other platforms in the past that were... unreliable when it came to scheduling posts. I would find out hours (or days) later than a post didn't go out when I expected, which was quite frustrating! I've never had this happen with Sprout, it's a very reliable platform -- which is crucial with social media.

Scheduling posts to Instagram, and also the reporting.

Lack of functionality: multiple photos to insta (requires a manual step at time of post)

Streamlining cross-posting. Ease of reporting. Ease of responding to comments, messages all in one "Smart Inbox"

Give it a shot! It's definitely worth the free trial to peruse the features.
Ensuring Brand Consistency
What do you like best about the product?
Content workflows-allowing for approval.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost is quite high, as only 1 admin utilizes the entire platform. The rest of the users are strictly content workflow contributors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By utilizing the content workflow, we are able to ensure that our brand is executed properly and our student content creators are protected when they submit content for publishing to our school social channels.
