    Information Technology and Services

Fast time to value tool

  • May 19, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The onboarding process really helped me to see the value in the tool and apply it to my department in real-time. Often when trying a new tool that is the biggest challenge being able to adapt to use it but also see the value quickly in order to reinforce use. Felt comfortable using the tool after just two calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing yet, there's always wishes for different integrations with tools already in my stack but alone Sprout is a powerhouse
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building a community while also growing out processes as we build a team that focuses on creating branded content that engages and educates

Great support & onboarding process

  • May 18, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout blows other competitors out of the water with their seamless, all-in-one platform that handles our business and the management of our client accounts. From reporting to publishing, there isn't much that they haven't thought about
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to do with Sprout but the issue with Instagram's API that means story and carousel posting is prompted rather than automatically posted are my only gripes
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
TIME - reporting is much easier with seamless integration across all our client portals.
Sprout has also cut down on the number of tools we were using for community engagement/social media management giving us back untold hours.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Having had experience working with other platforms within the same realm, Sprout wins hands-down. If you're an agency or a business looking to take your social management and monitoring to the next level then Sprout is a no-brainer!

Great Tool for Social Media Managers

  • May 18, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout makes it so easy to schedule out posts to coincide with our marketing calendar each month. I also enjoy using the smart inbox in addition to manually checking the social media apps, just to make sure there wasn't anything I've missed. You can easily respond to comments and messages all within the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are certain features I wish were available like being able to tag shopping tags on Instagram - this is something I have to manually add once a post goes live directly in the app. They also charge a ton for better reporting/deeper insights. They initially quoted us 7x what we currently pay per month, just for custom reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout helps us stay organized with our social media tasks. We can keep in touch with our community and what people are saying about us through hashtags, tags or even comments on our posts. The ability to plan out our posts is huge and something that helps us stay ahead of the game. There is also competitor reports that help us benchmark against key competitors in relation to following, number of posts, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We definitely did our due deligence with finding a social media management platform and encourage others to do the same. For the price and ease of use, we really found that Sprout Social surpassed their competitors.

Powerfully User Friendly

  • May 17, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social is exceptionally user-friendly and did not take long for our team to learn how to use it. In addition, the team at Sprout was available to answer any questions as we were learning to navigate the platform. We can now analyze data from all our social media platforms in one location and review cross-network data to help inform future decisions for our social strategy.

Our main reason for getting Sprout Social was the publishing capabilities. Still, after understanding the full spectrum of things offered with our package, I can confidently say that Sprout was an excellent decision for our team!
What do you dislike about the product?
For a company that isn't utilizing all the social platforms, it would have been nice to have a free version of Sprout that offered the same capabilities as the Professional plan for those who only have one social platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout is saving time in scheduling posts. In the past, we would post content on social media when time allowed; now we can plan, schedule, and analyze the performance of our posts to inform decisions about our social strategy in the future.

Very Happy!

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout has streamlined both the publishing and reporting process and has saved me so much time! Their onboarding team has also been immensely helpful!
What do you dislike about the product?
the only drawback is the cost, but it's well worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The time it takes to post, schedule, and then analyze analytics on those posts has been drastically reduced
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's well worth it to try Sprout out, it's one of the only tools that had all of the components we were looking for!

    Motion Pictures and Film

Easy, Breeze Social Media Management

  • May 11, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
How you can view and interpret your insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
That I can't tailor captions individually by creating a general caption or text for several social media accounts and then being able to tweak individual texts on the same page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to analyze our most valuable content and enhance our engagement. I've realized that we can easily view the type of content that resonates the most with our community and taking action accordingly. I've also realized the benefits of communicating with team members on posts and in the smart inbox.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take a deep dive into the platform and come prepared with questions for your onboarding calls. Take advantage of the customer support and success team.

Sprout has some cool features but I'm not sure if I like it more than Later

  • May 10, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The Twitter listening tool is really helpful as well as the optimal times to post. Later only gives you one time a day as a suggested post time, but Sprout Social gives you several suggestions. We often use Twitter to mine for Tweets relevant to our content that we can then turn into a Tweet post to share on Instagram, which often perform very well. I also really enjoy Sprout Social's reporting tools and how reports are automatically generated and sent to my inbox. It's nice to not have to pull the metrics myself and all I have to do is reference the numbers in my email.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sprout Social's user interface isn't as aesthetically pleasing as Later. I enjoy the calendar layout for my content calendar is easier to move around on Later. Later is also better for scheduling IG Stories and TikToks. I also enjoy that Later has a preview of the feed feature that you can access from an online browser (not just mobile). Not being able to see a feed preview is unhelpful because I can't see if all the colors of the different posts are complimentary.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The greatest benefits have been finding Tweets to repost through the listening tool and using the multiple optimal post time suggestions. Before using Sprout Social's listening tool, I would have to blindly search different trending topics and keywords on Twitter and there is no guarantee something valuable would come up, but Sprout Social's listening tool allows for me to more quickly comb through content to find quality tweets to share with our audience.

Sprout Social for Writing Studio

  • May 10, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Smart Inbox tool being able to answer everything from just one place
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to like or comment on IG posts regarding private accounts
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling posts, report making, engaging community, lowering response times
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I am new to social media management and had previously used another app, which we thought was utterly intricate. Sprout is as complex if not more but offers a more friendly and intuitive platform.

    E-Learning

A thorough platform with helpful onboarding

  • May 10, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the amount of data and reports. A significant upside is the ease of posting and replying across several platforms. An unexpected bonus is assistance from the Sprout team in learning how to use the program. Having a point person to aide us in navigating this vast system and giving us tips on how to best use it for our company's benefit is a nice touch and extremely beneficial.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that is a bit inconvenient is that we cannot tag non-business pages to our scheduled Facebook posts. But the reason was explained , and I completely understand it. It's just a minor inconvenience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So far, it's been very beneficial to see what posts are working, when they are working, and surmising why they worked so well. Also, scheduling and queuing posts has been an absolute dream. There were so many posts that we were doing manually through each individual platform. Using Sprout has cut down on that tremendously. I've also found the cropping options for the different platforms to be extremely helpful. Instead of creating separate graphics for everything, I can just adjust them to the recommended specs provided when scheduling the posts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking to grow engagement and reach of posts but you've been lacking the analytical data to review and compare, Sprout Social is for you. If you have several posts to schedule but don't want to manually send them out on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and more, then Sprout Social is for you.

    Marketing and Advertising

Best match for our needs; Some room for improvements

  • May 10, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is easy to learn and easy to use. It fulfills what we were looking for the most in easy content scheduling and management, visual and accurate analytics and a team equipped to advise and operate on an agency level.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've found a few limitations as we've onboarded and began to use for our clients. The reporting functionality is separated into buckets so that at least two separate reports need to be pulled to get both summary (engagement, audience, etc.) and paid advertising details. The Paid Ads report has had a couple other things pop up like the inconsistent ability to load an ad preview (getting an error frequently) and the inability to customize that report without losing a lot of functionality including the ability to see data broken down by campaign and individual ads.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bigger focus on agency solutions and strategy; better-aggregated reporting; faster internal content approval process; ability to connect Ad accounts and integrate paid reporting
