Marketing Specialist
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can schedule posts ahead of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could edit my pictures right on the sight for Instagram. I have to post Instagram mostly from my phone app
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No problems accept the Instagram piece. It saves a ton of time not having to go into each social media format to post.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You will love it, it saves a ton of time. It is very efficient and easy to use.
So easy and streamlined!
What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to post on multiple social media platforms at once. I don't have to go to multiple sites to queue posts - it's all in one convenient place! I've also found the optimal post times feature to be incredibly helpful. I used to spend hours researching the best times to post on social media, but Sprout Social automates this process and caters it to my specific audience. It saves me so much time! I also like the calendar layout of the publishing page. Having a visual element to see when I have post schedules is incredibly helpful for ensuring that I keep up with our established content calendar. I can see gaps and opportunities for posts, all laid out in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because I submit posts for approval by my supervisor, it can be a bit confusing and hard to rectify when one of my posts doesn't get approved by its scheduled time. The notification that the post wasn't made is hard to find.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been able to greatly increase audience engagement with our media through Sprout Social. While we used to only post once a week, now we're able to increase the number of posts we make, thus increasing our audience. When we conducted a big day of fundraising a couple weeks ago, we were able to seamlessly make multiple posts throughout the day. This encouraged people to check out our fundraising page multiple times, therefore increasing our total number of donations!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I've found Sprout Social to be extremely helpful regardless of industry. Any company or organization you work for that balances multiple social media platforms will benefit from this platform.
Sprout is the best!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that you can monitor all of your brand's social media platforms as well as tracking brand perception and overall analytics
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish sprout had a Facebook moderation feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we have realized the importance of social media and how it can shape a brands perception in the mind of the consumer
Great option for managing multiple social accounts.
What do you like best about the product?
Scheduling posts across multiple platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing is a bit high in comparison to other providers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps cover multiple accounts with scheduled posts. The reports are very useful as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you can afford the cost, it's the best system out there.
SproutSocial excels in user interface simplicity and customer service quality
What do you like best about the product?
While all social media management tools offer similar products to get the job done, SproutSocial truly differentiates itself with its easy-to-use interface and deep care for serving its customers/clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
Still waiting on a comprehensive, open API to connect our in-house reporting tools and increase efficiencies. As a current user of SproutSocial, I know they're working on this feature but am still unsure when it will be completed to the extent that we need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SproutSocial helps us plan content for six of our main social media channels, easily pull original and custom reports, listen to a variety of different hashtags, accounts and topics, and answer the hundreds of inbound messages/comments we receive in a timely, organized manner.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I'd advise reviewing all the different tiers SproutSocial offers since only certain features are offered at particular tiers. We started out at a more basic level but have upgraded over the years to their enterprise account and it was well worth it. In the top tier, you can expect to spend more money on the tool but you also get access to all the new and upcoming features as well that may be in beta testing. We've love to have a say in the new, upcoming products to help shape them to our business needs.
A great time-saving product that stays on top of updates!
What do you like best about the product?
The program is easy to navigate and has a great approval system for when small or large teams are working on a single project.
What do you dislike about the product?
A few small features that could be updated (mostly on the mobile app), and it is rather costly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout is saving our team time on social media marketing, improving our efficiency and allowing up to increase our posting regularity. We're able to connect more often and more thoroughly with our fans.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Reach out to Sprout Representative by email or phone if you would prefer a more personalized session prior to getting started with Sprout. Matt was a huge help in ensuring that the plan we selected would meet all of our requirements.
Great tool even if you're focused on B2B rather than e-commerce or B2C.
What do you like best about the product?
The Sprout Social system is very intuitive for scheduling posts and looking at their performance. Even for a B2B-focused organization with social media being an additional duty of a non-marketing person, this gives insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that scheduled Tweets almost always don't have the associated preview or card from the incorporated link included in the tweet that is published.
I would also like to be able to tag individuals in posts scheduled through LinkedIn.
I would also like to be able to tag individuals in posts scheduled through LinkedIn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem we're solving is time management. We can still have a daily presence on social media that makes us look active, even if we have to compress the time we have for posting into a small section of each day or week.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
As your social media program grows, reconnect with your Sprout Social team about how to use more of the features in both the basic and Premium versions.
Well, I use it everyday. It is the best for scheduling
What do you like best about the product?
Honestly, Scheduling my posts is the most helpful and important thing at the moment. Also the analysis is very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I don't like is that you can't post multiple pictures for an Instagram post. Each time I try it gives me error.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it solves the problem of going to multiple platforms and having to repost and schedule on those platforms. The benefits is the analysis.
Sprout is a smart and reliable tool! I've used it every day for a year now!
What do you like best about the product?
There are two things that I love about sprout equally - their post scheduling platform and the analytics reports. When scheduling content weeks, even months at a time, using a platform that lays out your posts in ways that are easy to view and organize is a huge advantage and helps speed up the social media management workflow. In also love the reporting. Working for a firm that is increasingly performance based and data-driven, it is VERY helpful to be able to export social reports from sprout that can be sent directly to a client. That might be one of Sprout's biggest selling points to me. I have justified the cost of sprout to management at my company many times. The monitoring also gives us a hugely beneficial product we can sell to clients. It is great that we can give clients peace of mind knowing that we have every end of their social media feeds covered.
What do you dislike about the product?
This might not be completely Sprout's fault, but it is annoying how difficult Instagram post scheduling can be. A lot of that is because of Instagram's rules and roadblocks they have sent up, but I believe other social media publishing services have addressed it with other workarounds and whatnot. That could be something to look into in the future. A possible downside may also be the limit on social posting history you can view. As opposed to a catalogue of content that FB creator studio provides, it would be nice to be able to go back and see posts from years back as opposed to only 6 months.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to show clients their posting for the future AND the past and illustrate trends that benefit everybody. Sprout is a perfect tool to make sure that we make our money by showing growth and our clients get the increased awareness they are seeking. Before we had to go to a lot of work and create canva documents in order to display data and other KPIs but Sprout allows us to easily report this data.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I'd recommend a trial of Sprout to start, I know the reps also add walk throughs too, but using it in your own day-to-day business is where you'll truly see its value. I'd recommend Sprout also because of it's reliability. Sprout has almost every feature that someone could look for in a social media publisher. No stone is really left unturned. I also find peace in the fact that the customer support team is always active and available if there ever needs to be something done fast. As opposed to other products where you call and get an endless chain of automation, Sprouts support connects you with actual people! Also, I would recommend Sprout to anyone who is new to social media management. Where some interfaces can seem complex and confusing, Sprout has a clean UI that is easy to follow for almost any skill level and also for personal or business use. I personally started using Sprout on day one of my first professional job and fund that I was able to seamlessly learn the system and I have since mastered it and given my teammates demos on how to use the system. I have used Buffer and Hootsuite before and Sprout is by far the most comprehensive and user friendly. To a customer who is willing to pay a little extra for a lot more features and usability, Sprout is the sure-fire way to take your social media management to the next level!
Game changer for social media management
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to not only schedule posts, but get guidance on the best times to post have been major bonuses in using Sprout.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I wish Sprout had was the ability to post carousel videos to Instagram. It's small, because overall this is a great product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to quickly post on multiple platforms has been a big benefit, and the reporting tools available on sprout (in accessing as the one posting and in what I can share with others in my company) have been a major upgrade over previous services.
