The best out there for agencies
What do you like best about the product?
Not only can you link most platforms and schedule out your content in advance, but Sprout makes it easy for your team to edit AND your clients to review content without getting jumbled or confused in the process.
What do you dislike about the product?
The worst part of Sprout isn’t even its fault: API walls. For instance, needing to send Instagram posts to your phone when posting a slideshow/carousel, and reconnecting platforms when they’ve been disconnected due to an API update. A small inconvenience given the massive utility of Sprout.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reporting for clients is so useful, especially share of voice.
User friendly and great report dashboards! I love the way the post scheduling works as well.
What do you like best about the product?
I love the reports and its graphics. The Smart Inbox is really smart indeed and they have a very active Facebook group which is very useful too
What do you dislike about the product?
I like everything actually. I just wish we could have more users in the same company without paying extra fee ;)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The way you schedule posts especially on Instagram is really helpful and can save you a lot of time if you plan ahead
Easy to use, insightful and responsive
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to navigate and pull data from the platform. Great visual planning features, detailed insights
What do you dislike about the product?
No drag and drop scheduling, limitations to report customisation and lack of Facebook or Instagram publishing features (or polls, carousels, ig DM)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlined scheduling, publishing and reporting

Sprout Social for the Win
What do you like best about the product?
I’ve been using Sprout Social for 10 years now. The company has grown quite a bit since 2010 but has always been extremely agile, responding to feedback from clients like myself. The customer service is top notch and the agency team is truly dedicated to our success. I’ve had to use competitors and can say without a doubt that Sprout is user-friendly and highly robust, We’ve been able to grow our client base and add new services with Sprout.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly can’t think of a thing. Every issue I’ve had has been handled quickly and effectively. We consider them a valuable partner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Editorial planning, content curation, approval workflows, image library and campaign organization, customer review monitoring. We’ve monitized services we didn’t know were possible.
The ONLY All-In-One Solution Available
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout's ease of use saves hours weekly on scheduling, reporting, etc. And has fantastic listening tools. Sprout also has great webinars and resources available to everyone, separate ones for agencies, etc. and all make our lives in social so much easier. The community fostered among Sprout users also delivers great value as we have sounding boards outside of one's company to bounce ideas off of. Sprout's support/live chat is also fantastic. There are experts available at every turn and the support available is unmatched (not even close) by competing services. In an age of tech, customer service and going the extra mile is SO appreciated.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was cheaper to add additional users and additional listening topics. The value is there but it can be cost prohibitive. Even if there was a "listening light" of being able to trade off topics would be great. Would love some more options for Instagram monitoring, but I understand that is a limitation from Instagram. I would love more customization for overall reports right in Sprout, such as incorporating offline activities, to use Sprout's fantastic reporting tools on all campaign activities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saving hours of dull work, such as scheduling, monitoring/listening and reporting. Teams are better focused, and inspired to work on strategy and creative actions instead of repetitive tasks daily/weekly. Sprout's examples of best practices for reporting and sharing metrics are also very appreciated. High customization allows us to prep client-ready reports right in Sprout, or if desired, pull that data easily into Excel/etc. to track holistically.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do a free trial and take the time to set it up. You will be WOWed in those first 30 days and see the value for yourself. Take time to reach out to support to accurately set up the program and enjoy the webinars. You'll be hooked if you put in a couple hours at the start, and save dozens of hours weekly moving forward.
Sprout Social is the way to go!
What do you like best about the product?
It's simple! Easy to schedule. Easy to look at reporting.
I also like that there is "optimal times" for posting!

What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike. I know it's tricky with instagram, but I hope eventually we can use Sprout Social on the desktop to post more than one image on instagram. Right now, we need to do it from our phone. Again, I know instagram is different than Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling. Set and forget. The reports are easy to read and quick to reproduce to send to my boss.
Outstanding customer service and resources, fantastic metrics and reporting. Worth every penny.
What do you like best about the product?
I first switched to Sprout because I needed a more robust reporting feature set. Sprout has not disappointed. Now that I've been using it for two years, I appreciate it even more for the webinars and online conferences they offer, the amazing customer service that is quick to help and always friendly, and the social listening capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some hiccups in my workflow, particularly with scheduling content. I've learned workarounds, but they have still meant that it takes more time to do a few of my regular tasks. It's not a lot, but 15 extra seconds to do complete a task when I'm doing 30 at once can really add up. The Bulk Upload feature has been tremendously helpful in some of these situations, but that tool isn't always the right one for the job.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My ability to see conversations via the basic social listening has been a game changer. I've seen entire conversations that I never would have seen before, and been able to interact positively with a new audience.
The second huge benefit has been the ability to quickly and clearly report on just about any metric I need to. (pro-tip: TAG EVERYTHING. You won't regret it when it comes to reporting.) The new Campaigns feature as well as the new People tab have also been very helpful.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sprout Social is not a tool for a casual user just managing one or two platforms and a minimal posting calendar. But if you are managing a few platforms with multiple posts a day and lots of engagement, Sprout will be a gamechanger for you. It will save you so much time that the expense involved will be an investment rather than a drain.
My Favorite Tool for Managing Social Media
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social makes it easy to manage multiple social media accounts. As a small creative studio, we manage multiple social media accounts for our clients so organization is important. One of my favorite aspects of Sprout Social is the ability to create "Groups". We use these groups to separate our client's accounts which makes management and controlled access easy. When you're in a group folder all you see are the social media accounts in that group. It really cuts on the clutter and minimizes the chance of accidentally posting on the wrong client account.
I really like the features that enable collaboration. Sprout has approval workflows and the ability to leave comments on drafted posts. We sometimes work with freelancers to help us schedule and create content for our clients. While we trust our freelancers we sometimes need to approve posts before they go out. Using Sprout's approval workflows really streamlines this process. In addition, if we need to comment on a post that was submitted for approval by a freelancer, we can do so right in the application without having to send an email out. This is great for quick feedback and discussion on social strategy.
Another great thing about Sprout is their people. From their community strategists to support - the team is a pleasure to work with. It really looks like Sprout has a great company culture and that really shows in the end product and service.

What do you dislike about the product?
There's really not too much to dislike about Sprout. The only thing I would have to say is I've experienced some application bugs here and there but that is somewhat expected when using any web application. The good news is every time I've experienced a bug I've been able to reach out to support and they were able to help resolve the issues.

My #1 Social Media Tool!
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Sprout Social since 2014 at 3 different companies. The smart inbox is what hooked me to start and I'm a lifer now because Sprout is constantly adding to its capabilities. There are different levels of subscriptions so you can tailor to your budget and your company's needs, the interface is clean, easy to navigate and understand, and it makes reporting simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that Instagram DMs were integrated into the smart inbox... that's not Sprout's fault, it's the Instagram API, but a little birdie told me that's coming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing engagement across multiple platforms in one place is so simple with Sprout. I love that I can tag different types of messages to organize them or come back to later and it makes reposting UGC from Instagram so simple because UGC is an important part of our Instagram strategy. Adding that feature was a dream! No need for a third-party app. The only thing missing is a permission flow (for now I just comment on the image asking for permission, then tag the post as having permission so it's in my files for future use).
Very helpful social tool with great customer service!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the scheduling ability with all of my company's brands. It helps keep our social organized and efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is so much that Sprout offers that it's hard to find time to make it all useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to create social media posts and efficient reporting with Sprout. It helps us see how our social is performing and how we can improve.
