  • November 14, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to schedule posts and find content.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited reporting with basic level of service, even though the analytics are pulled in from the social sites themselves.

Sprout Social is an incredible tool that offers me the best solution in reporting and analysis. In addition to allowing me to create and schedule publications on various platforms.

It would be essential that the programming functionality has more space on the screen. Because it would work very well.

Great Potential

  • November 13, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing about Sprout is having the ability to easily schedule posts. I also like being able to choose which platforms I want to post on, or having the option to schedule and duplicate a post.
What do you dislike about the product?
The notes feature is a great idea, however it needs to be worked on. The notes are done in a way that allows everyone in my sector to read/delete/edit others notes. It would be much better if they were tied to an individual account. The calendar gets very congested and confusing when multiple people are trying to use the notes. I have decided using them is more trouble than it's worth, so I've disabled that feature. If that issue is fixed, then I will be more than happy to use them again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to schedule posts far in advance and choose optimal times to send out the posts. I have realized the schedule and duplicate feature comes in handy when certain posts aren't friendly for a particular platform.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's easy to use and pretty streamlined. Allows you to connect multiple accounts, which is extremely helpful. Instagram is the only platform that I wish worked better with Sprout.

Sprout Social in an Agency

  • November 13, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is really easily to manage incoming messages on all social profiles and has a great automatic report section
What do you dislike about the product?
It is very expensive so would never use it for managing just one client
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easily creating and automatically sending reports to clients in an easy to read format
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Very useful tool if you have to budget. If you're working with a small marketing budget I would suggest a cheaper alternative that better suits your needs

    Non-Profit Organization Management

Sproutsocial is great but, like many other things in life, it could be better.

  • November 13, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use it often to create quick reports and of our social media activity. It's handy to have all the metrics in just one board, and the report you can download is clear and comprehensive. Sometimes I use it to schedule posts on Twitter and LinkedIn.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think it's great at social listening. Its hashtag following is quite poor and doesn't say anything relevant about your brand.

I also find the customer service tool confusing. I don't think it's created in a way where you can see all the comments and messages that need to be answered to in a clear way. We started using it but then we gave up, above all now that Facebook lets you schedule content on Instagram too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's very time-consuming to visit the different platforms' reporting tools - the magic of Sproutsocial is having all of them in one board.

I don't like using different tools, so to me, SproutSocial is also great at scheduling posts on those platforms where there isn't a scheduling function, such as Twitter and LinkedIn.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you do it to manage social media, it's always a good idea to add more than one user so different stakeholders can access it and benefit from it.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organic social planning and unique content execution across multiple platforms for multiple accounts. Time saved, clients impressed with reporting.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do it - it's worth it, it works incredibly well and is super easy to use.

Great For Multi-Account, Multi-Person Teams

  • November 12, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout is a great tool with excellent support. They seem to have a solid development team backing their product. We have also been able to use it's calendar feature, along with notes, as a content calendar across multiple people on our team. That way, each person (designer, content creator, social media manager) can see where a post is and what needs to be done.

Approvals and different user levels has also been helpful in training new team members or planning campaigns with less knowledgable employees. They can speak into a project without having typos or embarrassing mishaps getting posted.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I would highly recommend this product, it's not best for tiny budgets. Social media has to be priority for your business to justify the cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have streamlined our team's communications and improved the overall quality of our posts through reporting and calendaring.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're a solo team, this product may be out of budget for you. Once you add more than one person monitoring your accounts and 10+ accounts, this is a must-have.

What do you dislike about the product?
