I will step in and help our social media manager on Sprout, and the process has always been smooth.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to learn, posts are easy to schedule.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that you are unable to post videos or stories through Sprout. It would be more helpful to be able to automate posting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our social media manager is better able to manage multiple accounts at once, and can then get help from the Project Leads.
It's great to build a better relationships on social!
What do you like best about the product?
It offers a very user-friendly interface and they keep adding new features. It's easy to review the writer's work and approve or add notes in case there are changes to be made.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing I dislike. I think it's easy to use, great functionalities, and it's helped us improve a lot our internal processes for social.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before, there were a lot of back and forths and many processes before posting to social. Now, having this planner where everyone has access and the reviewing process is straightforward, has made us lives easier.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just go with it. You won't regret it
Wildly powerful, complete, and all-inclusive
What do you like best about the product?
Of all the social media scheduling platforms, this is by far the most powerful. And the least glitchy! Plus, it includes features like social listening, competitor analysis, reporting, and more that would cost a bucketload more with other platforms. Compare the costs of other platforms and you'll see how valuable and useful this tool is for the price.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sprout's API is better than Facebook's or Twitter's. Occasionally I will have a post that looks completely fine in Sprout, but on Facebook it doesn't display a photo in the link card or a link preview on Twitter. I also don't see a way to add alt tags.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is an all-in-one solution instead of having to bounce around to schedule natively or cobble together multiple scheduling, listening and monitoring tools. It also makes reporting a breeze because I can easily tag different topics and pull reports for different stakeholders without having to seek out and parse out reports from each platform. Compare costs of other platforms and you'll see how valuable and useful this tool is for the price.

Great Platform for Social Media Management
What do you like best about the product?
I love how organized Sprout is - you can sort and prioritize your work easily, create tasks and collaborate with your teammates within the platform, and tag/group individual messages to generate really insightful reports!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only things missing from this platform are the ability to access TikTok and IG Reel comments (but I'm sure that's in the pipeline) as well as the ability to sort comments by post.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to manage community conversations on social in an organized, timely manner and generate useful reports based on customer feedback and engagement.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for it!
Solid Performer. It gets the job done but lacks extra features and detailed reporting.
What do you like best about the product?
Adding new users and accounts is easy. Live chat customer service is very helpful (but only available on weekdays).
What do you dislike about the product?
When something goes wrong, the in-app dashboard often misses the issue -- it's not uncommon for the app to show items as published but they haven't, and the system deletes all trace of the post. That lack of transparency is an issue. Further, their live help is only available 24/7 weekdays and not staffed on the weekends, which is concerning. The desktop and mobile apps have different functionality, so while the app is nice, you cannot add links to your Sprout Link In Bio when using to schedule, resize images or add alt text for accessibility. And as far as reporting, you're limited to comparing to the immediate time period, so for example: comparing 31 days in May to the previous 31 days, not May 2022 to May 2021. You cannot schedule IG posts with multiple images or IG/FB stories, although there does appear to be a workaround for at least one of those.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling across multiple platforms in one place. Analyze and report on metrics from multiple platforms.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Evaluate several options.
Built for larger teams - lots of time needed for set up
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout integrates with most if not all social media platforms at this point.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sprout requires a lot of manual set up, and you don't ever receive updates on support tickets even when promised.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout is great for engaging with consumers quickly and efficiently, and for collaboration. Mass inbox alerts are also great esp given ever evolving world we live in.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It takes a lot of time to set up your account with Sprout to get value, which you may not have depending on your company. Account management teams change hands pretty frequently.
Social Media Strategist
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. Also, the metrics are fabulous. I am a one person team and using Sprout makes my work easier to organize and also easier to review metrics and distribute reports to interested stakeholders and teammembers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have the extended listening functionality as part of my package. I wish the smart inbox would have sentiment included for users who do not have the listening product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instead of managing the company brand natively (channel by channel), Sprout allows me to manage my content calednar all in one place. I also have been able to train customer care team members to review the smart inbox for customer questions and complaints which alleviates some of my work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I only manage one brand with four social media channels within Sprout. The cost is worth the spend for my company and my situation. I've heard for others who manage multiple brands with many channels that the enterprise cost can rise exponentially.
I have tried so many social media management platforms. This one is the best.
What do you like best about the product?
Reporting and posting features are excellent. The tagging feature is still a little clunky and doesnt always pull up what you need.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the engagement features could be stronger and more organized. I would love the ability to Retweet tweets from within the platform. ie, i would like to post a tweet on one profile and retweet it with another.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reporting on tagged campaigns rather than pulling page reports has been extremely instrumental. We run numerous campaigns on each page that all have their own stakeholders and this is the only platform other than Falcon that allows me to do this.
Does what we need!
What do you like best about the product?
I like the smart inbox set up. It allows me to stay organized when going from platform to platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's still not an intuitive distinction between paid and organic analytics in a way that's easily toggleable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Community management and analytics reporting. I'm able to see what content works and why. P
Choosy agencies choose Sprout
What do you like best about the product?
We love having all the comments and messages from our many clients come into one consolidated inbox. It saves us time when we're doing Community Management and the tagging function allows us to accurately track sentiment as well as types of messages.
What do you dislike about the product?
We'd love to be able to schedule Instagram videos and Reels through Sprout but we understand the API doesn't allow that. It makes posting videos and Reels pretty "clunky."
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout saves us time and makes it easy to manage many social media accounts at once. We have more than a dozen clients and it can be quite unwieldy to manage them all.
