    Non-Profit Organization Management

Good service but needs improvement

  • September 03, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love that the service is well-organized and easy to navigate. I can manage multiple accounts from one place, and it's convenient to see which team member sent which tweet. The "sent messages" feature includes so much valuable information about engagement stats, which I appreciate.
What do you dislike about the product?
The site still shows messages from users who have been blocked and also from private accounts. This can weigh down the queue with many irrelevant and unwanted tweets. The app, while it makes bulk clearing easier, crashes frequently. (Almost every time I use it!) Clicking on an image or gif during bulk clearing will also undo any progress, and I have to start over. On busy days, this can slow me down quite a bit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout to reply to the public. We receive countless messages in a day, so it's much easier to see them on Sprout than use the desktop.

Sprout Social is easy to use and affordable

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social makes it easy to compose and schedule social posts in bulk. The interface is easy to use and helps you track how long your posts are, and create shortened links within the platform. I like that I can see my calendar at a glance and post across all the social platforms I need at once.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike about Sprout.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout makes it so easy to manage posting on social site - it saves me major time from having to go into each social profile - the reporting is also helpful too

User friendly platform

What do you like best about the product?
Using Sprout to schedule our posts/tweets across all platforms and the ability to view the calendar at a glance is very helpful. We also use the analytics reporting feature quite regularly to assemble our reports. It's great to be able to look at the performance of our accounts collectively as well as individually. In addition, it's very helpful to be able to monitor all of our accounts in one place and filter out the kinds of messages you want to see.
What do you dislike about the product?
When scheduling a post, it would be helpful if there was a more comprehensive way to view the other posts scheduled on that given day. You are given an at a glance view, but if you have more than 2-3 posts scheduled, you can't view them all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Sprout on a daily basis to schedule our social content and monitor for comments and engagement. No ongoing issues at this time.

Sprout for a hair care brand

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Scheduling on multiple platforms and reviewing comments
What do you dislike about the product?
I use other platforms for curating the feed and also looking up influencers/creators. I also don't like the app. I tried scheduling and using it, but its easier on the desktop.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've never had an issue with scheduling. Unlike other platforms Sprout never glitches and is a very reliable.

Difficult at first, but quickly got used to the platform and it's become second nature.

What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to schedule my social media posts and see all of my posts laid out on a calendar. It is easy to edit the posts and change the time/day if I need to move things around. The most engaging time to post according to sprout is a very cool feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that you can't add a video and a picture into one post on sprout social. Although there is a feature to add the first comment, that feature disappears when I assign a publisher. It would be helpful to have that feature still available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sometimes my scheduled post will send but an error happens and I get a notification in the email. Then the post is no longer visible on the calendar or in my notifications and I'll have to write it out again. The most engaging time to post according to sprout has been beneficial to me.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great platform to use for starting businesses or businesses that are still new to social media. It's great to use if you have multiple people managing a social media page because you can add more people to the account. Although you can schedule posts directly from the social media platforms, sprout social allows you to see everything laid out on a calendar and reminds you when it's time to post.

Great for reporting and scheduling

  • September 03, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout gives us great reporting options with a user-friendly interface. Love the scheduling tools as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to customize the comparison dates within the reports (i.e. change between month over month, year over year, etc.). We would also like the option to preview the Instagram grid on desktop.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout minimizes time spent putting together reports and allows us to schedule all our social content from one central platform.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great tool

A Great Drafting, Scheduling, Calendar and Response Tool

  • September 03, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Love the ability to schedule out our social calendar for the week(s) ahead, have multiple team members draft posts for review and posting later, post to all of our social accounts in one place, and handle reactive social (customer complaints) in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Better integration with Salesforce (specifically the feedback section) for our brand awareness and customer complaints. More training and hands on guidance from account rep on things like the new social listening tool would be nice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Near real-time response across teams to customer complaints. Better ability to plan our social calendar.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great tool that can easily handle social monitoring and scheduling across multiple team members.

Great way to stay organized

  • September 03, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The social calendar aspect and UI are clean and intuitive. Users from other content planning models feel at home instantly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Things feel too segmented. Having a look at how past posts did alongside how future posts are doing might help in faster pivoting or adaptation of content strategies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving campaign level planning and time lost due to big amounts of content coming out of the pipeline. Double this with being able to listen in and catch trends as they come and go is also a key aspect in being able to always stay true to the built audience while also cultivating a new one
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great all around tool for those who are looking to get things organized while being able to look up insightful metrics pertaining to competition, trends and deep audience analysis. Many of the tools do seem segmented from each other in terms of reporting / measuring to posting and scheduling, but the adjustment isn't offputting and allows a user to really dial in on the tasks at hand.

    Marketing and Advertising

Nice platform with some weaknesses

  • September 03, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to schedule several platforms at once, over a long period of time. Reports are quick and easy to personalize. The platform is user-friendly, with some exceptions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The phone application and the inability to schedule IG multiple images/stories is a major issue. I handle scheduling for several accounts and I would need to log in to their accounts on my phone to post something that I had already scheduled. This is a waste of time, energy and opens the door to errors and incorrect posting. This needs to be addressed and made possible via the standard platform. No YouTube.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Programming social media for several companies a month in advance and being able to see the calendar for all is helpful. The reports are quick and easy to read.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do not use this if you plan on doing YouTube, Instagram stories or posting several images at once.

I live in my sprout social browser

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Very intuitive, love the analytics, we use many social channels and it's extremely easy to schedule all of our content
What do you dislike about the product?
i haven't noticed any downsides, i very much enjoy the tool
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
scheduling all of our content to free up time for additional, unplanned content. We have a lot of product launches and we can categorize each one which makes it easier when we are reporting metrics to look at the specific product tag.
