Time Saver
What do you like best about the product?
Time is money at our agency - literally! Sprout Social saves me so much time in my day-to-day so I'm able to focus on what really matters for my clients. The automated scheduler with the recommended times may be my favorite invention ever. Love it!
What do you dislike about the product?
Because of Instagram's API there are a few restrictions on publishing Instagram posts that I wish were still automated (for example: when posting a carousel post, you must pick a publisher instead of Sprout automatically publishing it).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better scheduling tools to have all the platforms scheduled in one place; comprehensive reporting; workflows for internal and external approvals.
Sprout Forever
What do you like best about the product?
The simple design and ease of use. It's so easy to teach interns and coworkers how to utilize
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to note. I appreciate all the features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling. It's a huge tool with 23 teams in a social department.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
GET IT. If you're managing/scheduling for multiple social pages and profiles, it's the best thing that I've ever used. It's easy from creation to scheduling to seeing a full slate of posts. We also love it come analytics season as the analytics reports created are so detailed and give us a great overview of our profiles performances over the last year.
Serious Time Saver!
What do you like best about the product?
Having scheduling and reporting access across multiple platforms all in one place, and having that one place be easy to use and comprehend.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one struggle I have: line breaks not appearing in scheduled Instagram posts. That does add an additional step. I've currently found an adequate workaround, but I'd much prefer being able to write copy in Sprout and not worrying about it again.
I would love to see integration with YouTube in the future, if at all possible, as this is something clients have requested.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saving time is THE problem solved, really. In addition, things like hashtag monitoring and reporting have been helpful to our clients. We have clear, concise ways to prove plans and campaigns are working (or to show where we can improve).
Good Platform, needs minor improvements
What do you like best about the product?
The reports are top notch. All of my clients are happy with them and they are very in depth. Plus they look nice.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not a hashtag generator. You also can’t look at an asset library and quickly see what photos have been used. It’s a pain to change dates on a post, I prefer to drag and drop. Also I want to be able to see my 9 grid on Instagram easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reporting
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Tell the team what you need and it might be added in future.
Sprout Social Provides The Tools And Reporting Your Company Needs To Help Succeed In Social Media
What do you like best about the product?
Sprouts competitive reporting ability for social provides great insight into what others are doing within your space and allows you to use that data to inform decisions to improve your own brand's presence. Their smart inbox makes day to day management of social customer service comments easy. Their account management team is also very responsive and knowledgeable (shoutout to Alli Shefelbine!).
What do you dislike about the product?
One feature that can be improved upon:
A better search system to find users that previously commented on a post, mentioned us, etc. Right now their search within the smart box and system is limited to Twitter. Most of our engagement happens on other platforms.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to review and report easier on what types of content perform within social, that combined with message tagging allows us to easily identify common customer feedback and question themes to pass back to our engineers, support teams and product managers.
Helped an overburdened team alleviate workload
What do you like best about the product?
Quick to schedule posts! Like the ease and functionality of the site.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish that my timeframe would automatically set to 7 days for reports, instagram tracking is sub par
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lack of time.
Perfect for teams of all sizes.
What do you like best about the product?
We have a really small team. And I'm a social team of one, handling all of our social conversations with supporters across all of our channels - as well as all of the content we share. So having everything in one smart inbox is wonderful so I'm not missing any messages. I'm also always on the go, so having a really beautiful app to keep up on conversations when I'm away from my laptop is super helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
We'd love to have the ability to discover existing people who follow us on our social channels. With different filters to find supporters who have high engagement, maybe brands that have a lot of overlap followers so we can identify potential collaborations. And filters for keywords that our followers use in their bio or in their captions, and sorting by location.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We get so many supporters sharing on social, many of which have been supporters for years. So we love being able to see all of our historical conversations with them, so all our messages feel personal to their experience and history with our organization.
Helpful tool for managing all channels
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to tag content to report on specific campaign performance
What do you dislike about the product?
You can't upload videos and photos into one carousel post (you have to schedule them separately) and you can't schedule pins with titles and descriptions (just descriptions)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The inbox/messages is a helpful tool so we don't miss comments and mentions.
Sprout Social is Efficient and User-Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing is the group reports. The group reports allow you to see how each profile is doing compared to one another in one snap-shot. There are also individual channel reports that break down each platform further.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few, small capabilities that I wish Sprout had, such as adding a unique thumbnail when uploading a native video to Twitter or LinkedIn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to get visibility into our social media efforts through Sprout's analytics. From this, we've made changes to improve our overall reach and engagement. We also use Sprout's listening tool to keep our finger on industry and market trends.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sprout is a great social media management tool if you're looking for an easy way to schedule, manage and analyze your social media presence.
Accessible
What do you like best about the product?
User interface- tag report, hyperlinks to channels through messages.
What do you dislike about the product?
Message stamp rounds up after a half-hour or so. For example, a message received @ 8:32 will say message received an hour ago if itis still within the hour. Tag function does not work in isolated message mode, and most importantly when a new message appears in Sprout Inbox it does not indicate this until refreshing (on desktop version). When running the tag report and viewing specific messages, back arrow takes you back to tag criteria instead of the list of messages already displayed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tags being changed in Insta and Twitter- happening quicker than before (when running tag report). Hyperlinks connect strait to channels. Running /downloading reports to maintain accuracy.
