Building Our B2B Brand with Sprout
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social has become an integral tool for building brand awareness and driving engagement on our social channels. Last year, we were in search of a social sharing tool that is intuitive and easy to use, but also advanced enough to allow for detailed reporting, listening and other capabilities. The scheduling tool is super helpful, especially with the addition of recommended posting times, and the image editing tool comes in handy during busier days. Overall, Sprout is a fantastic tool, especially given the price point.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not many things I dislike about the platform. It would be great if current customers could get a glimpse into competitive benchmark reporting (share of voice, etc.) without a demo. Like, a sample report using real data that is available once. That way, if there's interest, we can pursue a demo.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a small(er) player in the ERP space, so answering the "Why Us?" question can be challenging at times. Brand awareness has become a focus of ours, as well as driving engagement with our content. With Sprout, we've been able to track successful activities and campaigns so that we can learn from them and make the appropriate tweaks to our strategy. We've already seen significant growth in page followers and engagement.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look for a tool that features comprehensive reporting and report building capabilities.
On the Standard plan
What do you like best about the product?
The scheduling feature is the best I've worked with. I've used Hootsuite and AgoraPulse in the past and Sprout seems to have both of them beat with what you can do within each channel's capabilities. I get the most out of the platform from their reports. Being able to quickly see the top performing posts for the time period I specify is really helpful to provide suggestions for strategies in the future. It's also much more organized and intuitive when it comes to LinkedIn's reports in general.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's unfortunate that you can't tag individuals in LinkedIn posts, only company pages. I have to set reminders for myself to do that natively. I have to monitor paid ad comments natively for Facebook as well. They've slowly taken away certain features of the Standard plan (i.e. visibility with queued posts) without warning, which briefly feels like some sort of glitch. I get that they want users to upgrade, but in-app, their blogs and support documentation I don't feel there's a very clear delineation between their tiered packages (outside of the reports tab), so it's sometimes hard to understand what I should have access to. I'd love it if there was an option to only upgrade just my profile as a power user and keep the rest of the team that barely logs in on a lower level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to get a very clear picture of what our post impact is organically. We've been able to easily recognize patterns in the posts that perform well, helping us dramatically increase our engagement numbers.
Love the platform and the people!
What do you like best about the product?
I love how interactive the Sprout employees are in making sure we have all the tools and resources we need. The reporting feature is also really great, detailed and helpful. I love that we can customize our reports and present the most important information to our CEO. It helps those who are not familiar with social media practices read the information with ease. I'm really interested in diving more into the listening tool as paid feature, soon, hopefully. I always use your "best time to post" suggestions as well and our posts typically do well with the suggestions. So, I think those are super helpful. Oh! The Facebook group is also SO helpful and such a great community to be part of. I love that I can continue to expand my knowledge and bounce ideas off other social media professionals.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that we don't have a "link in bio" feature for Instagram. That would truly seal the deal and we wouldn't have to use a third party service instead. Sprout would be a one-stop-shop.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've improved our response time on Facebook tremendously thanks to the great notifications and ability to respond in-app. We've also realized how great the social listening tool can be and have suggested we add this to our plan (internally). The reporting feature is a great benefit to us and the customizability of it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're considering Sprout, definitely make the decision. The platform is amazing, so resourceful and the employees are amazing. They reach out and make sure you have all the tools you need to make the best use of Sprout and are always really down to earth. They also have a Facebook community (group) that is AMAZING to learn from.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sprout is a wonderful tool for businesses that need an easy, but in-depth out of the box solution. If you don't want to waste time setting up custom reporting, you can use their default reports and they'll typically meet your reporting needs. Programming content, editing images, previewing, and programming are a breeze. The social inbox is also easy to use. If you don't require heavy automation for your social needs, this is the perfect tool for your organization and it is very reasonably priced for the tools you get, as well as the service and support. I also love that they have Facebook groups for marketing and agency partners, this is a significant help for those moments when you need to seek outside help.
Great scheduling, multiple account management, & reporting
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing about Sprout Social is the recommended posting times, which help me to improve engagement with individual posts across platforms. The scheduling features and the functionality allow me to easily manage multiple accounts across multiple platforms without confusion. The reporting feature is a huge time-saver and allows me to communicate the results of my social media efforts clearly and easily. I also really like the various educational opportunities that Sprout Social offers consistently via webinar. These keep me apprised of new or updated features and help me understand the best ways in which to use them. I also really like the content finder. This helps me to keep up a steady stream of content even during periods when we may be generating less original content. The dashboard is a great way to see how things are going at a quick glance. The publishing calendar is extremely helpful to me as I plan content, as is the newer "notes" feature, which allows me to plan out my content over a long period of time while bypassing draft posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Filters aren't sticky through multiple sessions, meaning I have to reselect them with every login. Additionally, I would like to be able to use Sprout Social to post multiple photos to Instagram without having to use the mobile app at the time of posting to accomplish this. This is my one biggest pet peeve about Sprout Social, as it forces me to reengage with content that has already been scheduled at inconvenient times--content that I would like to be finished with once it's scheduled (barring responses) as I am with all other types of posts. This causes me a little bit of extra stress. Generally speaking, I find the mobile app (iOS) to be fairly buggy and not very intuitive, which reduces my use of it to almost none (other than the aforementioned Instagram posts) except when I am traveling, on vacation, or cannot access my desktop computer for some other reason. One other thing that's somewhat unhelpful is that the dashboard consistently tells me that I have new messages, even if I have already cleared all of them out of the inbox. This makes this specific dashboard feature essentially useless to me, since I have to go in and manually check regardless of what the dashboard says.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social actually improves my mental health by allowing me to schedule posts across multiple platforms. This allows me to disengage from work appropriately. I also really like the image resize feature, which allows me to quickly and easily crop photos to optimize them for different platforms. This is very convenient and hugely time-saving for me. Sprout Social also solves a collaboration issue for me within my organization by allowing designated individuals to submit content to me that I can then review and schedule as it aligns with our overall social media strategy. Task assignment across our larger organization is also extremely useful in achieving our response goals. I also find it very useful to be able to use this product in order to compare my organization with others.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely do a thorough evaluation of what Sprout Social can offer you, based on your needs. Something else may work better for you. However, if you're part of a complex organization with many accounts, Sprout Social has many solutions.
Time-Saving Social Media Management with Room for AI Enhancement
What do you like best about the product?
I use Sprout Social for social media management, and it really helps me save time because I don't need to manually post. I can easily batch schedule content at the best time for each platform, and I like how it helps me report on metrics for leadership and keep up with content. It also allows me to repurpose content for different platforms without having to guess the best time for maximum visibility. Even though I wasn't involved in its initial setup, it was easy for me to learn and get used to.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI assist feature is a bit clunky. If I copy and paste information into the caption box and then click AI assist for help with refining the caption, none of the options feel right.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social saves me time by automating posts, helps with reporting metrics for leadership, and keeps me updated with content. Its batch scheduling feature allows me to repurpose content for different platforms easily and post at optimal times.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely give it a shot. You'll love it for the ease of reporting and scheduling content. Additionally, the company sends out incredibly useful webinars for members very often. It makes professional development a breeze.
Review of Sprout Social
What do you like best about the product?
I love the scheduling tool, and also, the ability to be able to assign tasks to team members. I like being able to view what the post will look like, and be able to see the whole week laid out. I also like having access to additional analytics besides what is available on the platforms themselves. Being able to review posts in drafts before they go live and then to schedule are our most used functions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish we could see any changes or edits team members make on posts rather than having to comment. The platform could integrate with Pinterest a little better so that I felt that platform was being optimized better. Also, it would be nice if Sprout Social had some additional content creation capabilities. Tailwind now has the ability to use templates to create optimized pins on the platform. There is not anything else that I feel I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The platform helps us be able to post at different times across platforms which saves time. It also helps collaborate when our team is having to work remotely. It is nice to be able to schedule posts at times that would be after working hours. It is also nice to be able to post to the four platforms we currently use so that we don't have to login individually and post directly on each platform.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I feel like Sprout Social not only helps improve your social presence, but it helps your team to be efficient in reaching your KPI goals. It will also help you highlight your success through extensive analytic reports to share with your leadership team.

What do you like best about the product?
The content examples and how to increase engagement discussion
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, I thought it was informative and easy to digest. The group had a great dynamic
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am managing multiple channels across all social media platforms. It has helped me not have to sign in and out of accounts all day long. I like managing the smart inbox and seeing the posts laid out in calendar form. The export features for content calendars has been really helpful too
Time Saver
What do you like best about the product?
We manage 9 different properties and the ease of being able to write one post and have it go out to all 9 Facebook pages at one time is such a time saver for us. Having the analytics a click away is also a feature about Sprout Social that helps us narrow down our audience and who to target.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not had an issue or come across any problems at this time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding our target audience
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend Social Sprout to anyone that has multiple sites that they manage. To have everything you need at your finger tips saves so much time.
A social tool I didn't know I needed
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can easily schedule social content across platforms and it's easy to duplicate posts, so I don't have to start from scratch. Reports are great to quickly show the progress our accounts are making visually, or to pull a quick "win" before a board meeting. I also love that Sprout suggests when to post content for maximum engagement.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only a few minor things - many teams in my organization use Sprout, so I can always see their Notes and I don't want to confuse them with mine, which has led me to plan my content in an alternate tool. Sometimes, tagging other business pages lags or takes a while, but that is a really minor complaint and not that bad once you get used to it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can easily see what improvements I'm making across social networks and can check out the kinds of posts that are resonating with my audience. I also like that I can plan posts a few days a week and know that they will go live without any additional manual steps needed. It's a really straightforward tool to learn, but it does a lot.
