Sprout is a smart and reliable tool! I've used it every day for a year now!

What do you like best about the product?
There are two things that I love about sprout equally - their post scheduling platform and the analytics reports. When scheduling content weeks, even months at a time, using a platform that lays out your posts in ways that are easy to view and organize is a huge advantage and helps speed up the social media management workflow. In also love the reporting. Working for a firm that is increasingly performance based and data-driven, it is VERY helpful to be able to export social reports from sprout that can be sent directly to a client. That might be one of Sprout's biggest selling points to me. I have justified the cost of sprout to management at my company many times. The monitoring also gives us a hugely beneficial product we can sell to clients. It is great that we can give clients peace of mind knowing that we have every end of their social media feeds covered.
What do you dislike about the product?
This might not be completely Sprout's fault, but it is annoying how difficult Instagram post scheduling can be. A lot of that is because of Instagram's rules and roadblocks they have sent up, but I believe other social media publishing services have addressed it with other workarounds and whatnot. That could be something to look into in the future. A possible downside may also be the limit on social posting history you can view. As opposed to a catalogue of content that FB creator studio provides, it would be nice to be able to go back and see posts from years back as opposed to only 6 months.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to show clients their posting for the future AND the past and illustrate trends that benefit everybody. Sprout is a perfect tool to make sure that we make our money by showing growth and our clients get the increased awareness they are seeking. Before we had to go to a lot of work and create canva documents in order to display data and other KPIs but Sprout allows us to easily report this data.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I'd recommend a trial of Sprout to start, I know the reps also add walk throughs too, but using it in your own day-to-day business is where you'll truly see its value. I'd recommend Sprout also because of it's reliability. Sprout has almost every feature that someone could look for in a social media publisher. No stone is really left unturned. I also find peace in the fact that the customer support team is always active and available if there ever needs to be something done fast. As opposed to other products where you call and get an endless chain of automation, Sprouts support connects you with actual people! Also, I would recommend Sprout to anyone who is new to social media management. Where some interfaces can seem complex and confusing, Sprout has a clean UI that is easy to follow for almost any skill level and also for personal or business use. I personally started using Sprout on day one of my first professional job and fund that I was able to seamlessly learn the system and I have since mastered it and given my teammates demos on how to use the system. I have used Buffer and Hootsuite before and Sprout is by far the most comprehensive and user friendly. To a customer who is willing to pay a little extra for a lot more features and usability, Sprout is the sure-fire way to take your social media management to the next level!

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to not only schedule posts, but get guidance on the best times to post have been major bonuses in using Sprout.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I wish Sprout had was the ability to post carousel videos to Instagram. It's small, because overall this is a great product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to quickly post on multiple platforms has been a big benefit, and the reporting tools available on sprout (in accessing as the one posting and in what I can share with others in my company) have been a major upgrade over previous services.

What do you like best about the product?
SproutSocial offers an easy-to-navigate platform that allows me to quickly see the information I need. I particularly appreciate the ability to monitor our platform engagement in one stream, where I can then respond, tag, and organize incoming messages as needed. Their custom reporting option is also an excellent feature for creating reports to meet different needs. Plus, the Sprout Social team offers excellent webinars, learning opportunities, and customer support. They feel like true partners in our social media efforts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because our incoming messages are very nuanced, creating rules for tagging doesn't always work and we typically end up hand tagging most posts for tracking, and that can take a while during high engagement seasons. It's fine if you're an organization that receives a manageable number of incoming posts, or you have a team to help (or for smaller organizations).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social allows us to closely monitor messages and mentions across social media platforms, look for trends in conversations, schedule upcoming posts across platforms, and create reports. Some other platforms only focus on certain aspects, but this allows us to manage social media in the way that we need to from one hub.

What do you like best about the product?
Social media scheduling feature, best time to post feature and reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
The premium we have to pay for custom reports for the comparison date metric. I also wish a template report that could be edited with our branding was available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social Media/Social Selling/Brand Awareness and elevation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a good tool, complete as a whole dashboard. The report template is not easily manipulated and it would be nice to have that more specific to the users goals.

What do you like best about the product?
It is incredibly user-friendly whether you are a social media professional or not. It is perfect to integrate your customer service, sales teams, etc. all in one platform to help with your community engagement while publishing top social content.
What do you dislike about the product?
There truthfully isn't much to dislike and nothing I can think of off the top of my head. Most of the things I would like added come from the platform themselves allowing third-party access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- We have great workflows for content approval.
- We are able to create robust social listening reports about our brand
- We are able to monitor conversations we want to be a part of quickly
- The inbox allows for fast engagement across all platforms
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Not only is the tool amazing, but the customer service is the best I have experienced across any company. They are quick to respond, helpful, and if they don't have an answer they will work to get it as quickly as possible or find a workaround.

What do you like best about the product?
We have used or at least demo-ed many social media tools over the years, but for us what really sets Sprout apart is the access to support. They're always willing to troubleshoot, problem solve and brainstorm solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of Sprout's upsides is also a negative at times - the platform is constantly being updated which results in slight reporting variations, an ever-changing user experience, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout enables us to provide top-notch social services to our clients.
