What do you like best about the product?
The ability to manage multiple clients at one time is fantastic!
What do you dislike about the product?
The customer support when looking to upgrade or change services has been very unreliable, and I've had to manage the process multiple times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We manage hundreds of social media pages across 70+ different clients and sprout has given us the ability to look at our workload from a big picture perspective as well as cut back on time spent doing day to day tasks.

Best tool for social media planning and management

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout social is an user friendly platform. It'i well structured with efficient section: message, task, feed, publish, listen, report and bot. The last one, reviews, is amazing. Also Report for team work are perfect for time management.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are sometimes trouble and bug that depends on API change of social media platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since we started using Sprout in our agency we reduced time wasted on social media planning or real time publishing. Also the report section is really helpful for our work.

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout is a middle tier social scheduling platform, good for smaller marketing operations looking to automate posting across platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
The analytics options aren’t great. It would also be ideal if they added a feature that auto resized an image for the platform it was going to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Save time by not manually posting social posts and managing engagement across channels.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you like the social automation software you’re currently using, don’t make the switch.

Simple to use, great for teams

What do you like best about the product?
Publishing management and reporting are made easy! Love the Sprout plugin that allows you to share native or external content to multiple accounts. Reports are detailed and visual.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be clunky at times when posting across multiple platforms, or when trying to integrate with Instagram and LinkedIn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Post management/publishing is now consolidated in one place where multiple team members can see what is going out when.

Expensive considering its limitations

What do you like best about the product?
The reporting part was very good however a lot of other SaaS packages offer good social reporting now.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are limits on a lot of elements (tags etc) that require extra money.
It is just not as easy to use as other systems that are much cheaper.
It advertised that it could connect to post to Instagram but you still need to log into Instagram to post. This is an Instragram API issue but SS shouldn't advertise that it is easier to post from their platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nothing, we want to finish our contract but we missed the notice period and are locked in for another year.

I like being able to post to multiple platforms at the same time and plan my calendar out ahead of time

I wish it would leave past campaigns on the calendar

What do you like best about the product?
Writing posts is quite intuitive as you can preview how it looks.
The edit tools for pictures are also a great addition.
The statistics reports are also very detailed. They're easy to read and give a good picture of what's working.
What do you dislike about the product?
The post preview doesn't update, which is frustrating.
You also don't have the opportunity to use current Facebook pictures and upload to an album.
Sometimes, you lose a draft if there was an error, or it wasn't approved before the publish date.
The calendar only works well week by week. The monthly view is a pain.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating posts, managing social media calendar and creating reports
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a really good tool for general posting and gathering data for reports. For more complex posts, you'd still have to use something else. And be mindful tha calendar is a bit tricky. If you losse a post, check drafts and rejected and make sure you display everything with the filters.

What do you like best about the product?
Great tool for everything you need as a suite for all social media related info. Easy to use and not too expensive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't schedule IG Stories easily, also have to use the app for carousels, videos and other posts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great for analytics & scheduling posts ahead of time.

Too much for what we needed it for

What do you like best about the product?
It's great if you're a big organization who needs a lot of monitoring and has a team of more than about 5. I would totally recommend it for an entire digital marketing team. It's great for attributing tasks and scheduling in posts. It has a variety of things in the suite that would really help out a huge team, and I liked the integration for sure.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's just too much for a small team. We didn't need all the bells and whistles and honestly there seems to be no way to opt out. We also didn't love the constant sales calls pressuring us into buying. Thanks but no thanks. We'd get calls and emails and it was way too much pressure when we were trying out options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We didn't end up using this program but I liked the editorial calendars a lot. I also liked the ability to monitor everything - the analytics on this program are amazing. I will say they're the best I've seen.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's best for big organizations with big teams. We're just not big enough to take advantage of the suite of features. But I really think they're doing great things. It just wasn't for us.
