Excellent for community management
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to track comments is really great. This allows us to track all of our ad comments and respond in a timely manner, thus increasing our ROI.
What do you dislike about the product?
The impossibility to schedule multi-lingual posts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's awesome for community management, responding to ads, etc.
Scheduling is convenient but product not worth it.
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to schedule posts in the software but besides that it genuinely isn’t worth the rest of the features.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that the user interface is very clumsy. Additionally, there are a lot of areas where it doesn’t go the extra step that would make using the product actually convenient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to consolidate multiple accounts is good and being able to plan a social calendar in advance is nice.
Great social aggregator!
What do you like best about the product?
Love the ability to schedule campaigns across platforms on one interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very glad Instagram is now integrated in the system. Wish the system provided the ability to track/message new friends on Facebook and LinkedIn as it does with Twitter.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to schedule across platforms and maintain consistency with our messaging on social. We're also utilizing analytics to help grow our brand.
Collaborative Social Management and Impression Tracking
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout is a fantastic all-in-one tool for running various campaigns simultaneously. Because several members of my time end up editing and checking one another's work, Sprout makes this incredibly easy via its scheduling mechanism. The platform also makes it easy for us to get a sense of where most of our impressions come from (Twitter, in our case) and let's us look at how are closest competitors are faring on all the major social platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Certain elements of the GUI can be a little difficult to keep track of -- there's a LOT going on, and occasionally I find myself forgetting where to find tools. Even after ample experience with the platform, this still happens at least once or twice a week. This is partially due to the fact that there is simply a lot to do on Sprout, but I think nesting some of the analytics menus under broader categories (e.g., everything Twitter, everything Facebook, etc) might make the interface more intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout really powers how we approach social media - before we started using managed software, most of our social was simply guesswork. With Sprout, we get great data on how our posts are performing in both an objective sense and relative to our competitors. Sprout is especially useful for managing the Twitter accounts of several of our staff, particularly when at major events or conferences. With Sprout, we've seen major improvement in a number of our key publishing metrics.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're a small-ish startup like us that's looking to have an outsize impression on social media, Sprout is a great way to maximize return on the time you're putting into social. We've seen a huge uptick in overall impressions since we started integrating Sprout with our leadership teams' accounts, and it's a good way to make sure the many diverse voices within your organization are getting their names out into the ether.
Sprout Social is Clutch for Scheduling
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to set up my queue for the week and get data on each message so I can requeue high performing evergreen content across our platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s a little bit pricey to get all the gfeatures you need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a small team and a large social following hungry for new content to help drive the business. This lets us meet the needs of our audience without sacrifing too much time stuck in social.
Overall great experience.
What do you like best about the product?
We rely on this tool almost entirely for mass posting and for inbox management which are box great tools and easy to use. The customer service is also great about following up.
What do you dislike about the product?
You need to approve each user to have access to each profile. When you have 200+ profiles this becomes time consuming. There is also no integration with ad creation in Facebook so you can only post, not boost or promote directly from the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mass posting ads, incoming comments, messages, etc. We have improved customer service and better time management with regards to campaign set up.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Explore and test beforehand. Many tools are not useful to us, yet we still pay for them.
Sprout Social
What do you like best about the product?
I love how organized everything is, it's easy to use and it looks visually pleasing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how the queue works and I wish some of the information exported into a nicer looking document.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are distributing content in a timely manner
Excellent Social Media Reaching Platform
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of sending the same post to multiple social media platforms and customizing the links and content to each specific platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
The admin/user interaction is frustrating and I would have to submit posts for approval and that would take a long time with my boss.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The integration of twitter and Instagram posts with Facebook as well have been issues in the past with updating each platform one at a time and that has been hard, but with Sprout it is easier and faster.
Easy to use, track tasks and respond to consumers
What do you like best about the product?
No more multiple tabs to monitor and respond to consumers of our products. The ability to assign tasks internally to our team for escalations and additional support is crucial to our business and a huge time saver.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that if you want all elements of the system (additional reporting, insights, etc) this becomes too cost prohibitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to assign tasks to different team members and respond to consumers on multiple platforms with one login. No more switching from screen to screen looking at all of our social platforms.
Decent Social Media Management software, not the best
What do you like best about the product?
I think Sprout's clean user interface. It's an intuitive system to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the mobile app. It's good at sending mobile notifications when an Instagram post is scheduled to go out but the push notifications never go away! I have 34 notifications waiting for me on this app and I can't make them go away.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving my company's need for a comprehensive social media management platform. I can schedule and monitor content in this platform. It also has a really great reporting/analytics feature.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My advice is to realize that no social media monitoring system is perfect. I like Sprout better than Hootsuite but there are still features from Sprout that are missing - Facebook Groups integration and Pinterest integration. Sprout's relatively small platform integration offerings are made up for by its excellent customer service.
