Solid Social Media Management Platforms

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social is a great tool for social listening and social reporting. It provides great data to base future decisions. Integration of social profiles is incredibly easy and the UI/UX is very clean and easy to understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
They have limited filtering capabilities. They dashboard is rather hard to read as they lack a side by side streams. It's rather difficult to track social customer support interactions as you can't track which mentions/comments you have responded to or not.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social Reporting, social monitoring, social listening and customer social support. We found the reporting aspects to be the most beneficial as they provided us with adequate data to make analyses and future decisions based on the metrics. The social management aspect was beneficial as well as the entire team could follow the social calendar and monitor social activity from our corporate accounts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a solid platform, but not sure if there are enough unique features and advantages to really outweigh this option overs others like Sprinklr or Hootsuite. The reporting features are without a doubt the best aspect of this platform.

What do you like best about the product?
I love having the ability to build out posts ahead of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue I’ve had with Sprout is the fact that I’m not able to post to Instagram through it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems I am solving with sprout are being able to be far more consistent on social media and communicating with our audience. Sprout keeps it simple and organized for me.

Sprout Works Well for Many Aspects of Social Media Management

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of assigning team members with tasks and scheduling content to multiple platforms. Reporting is also a great resource for quick insights and metrics. I really like pulling and exporting scheduled posts in an easy-to-see format. It's also fantastic for making quick work of editing photos and even comes with some standard filters, but i rarely use those as they don't tend to make photos looks any better.
What do you dislike about the product?
Managing messages could be a little more intuitive and robust, if the look and feel could match closer to native. Wish we could post to IG without a mobile to do so, but that's an API issue with IG. I really want more flexible reports so I can add or remove data points. Really would like to monitor messages in columns and not a feed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm managing, publishing, and monitoring multiple accounts and Sprout does really well with doing this. It's all about having almost everything under one roof.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sprout is a great platform, it does come with a learning curve, so take the time to really dive in and go through some training so you can get the most out of it.

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout makes it easy to schedule posts, engage in social listening, respond to comments, review comments, and analyze data all in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
It sometimes seemed the program glitched and randomly wouldn't send posts you had scheduled without warning. It wasn't ideally compatible with Facebook business either.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social is a great place to keep all your social accounts in one place. I like being able to open fewer tabs and find information in fewer places because of Sprout.

What do you like best about the product?
The "Smart Inbox" is the best thing about Sprout Social. You get an action item for each Instagram tag or comment, Twitter follows, comments and mentions, and comments on any Facebook post... even comments on ads you're running with a related ad account. The ability to save phrases and hashtags help you catch and respond to more mentions of your company.
What do you dislike about the product?
The scheduling and publishing process for new posts can be frustrating and could be more user friendly. The Sprout Queue is a good automated publisher for content that doesn't need to be posted on a specific day or time, but the process of getting your content to the point where it's ready to be scheduled requires too many steps. The calendar functions for publishing would be great if it included a little more functionality, like drag and drop to reschedule, and categories for organizing content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being one person managing many social feeds for a small company, Sprout Social saves me time not having to log in and out of different apps or sites. The tools are all in one place for getting our message out there.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is the best service I've come across for social media monitoring. It's not perfect but it's the most useful manager I've found.

What do you like best about the product?
It's a very intuitive platform and easy to get the hang of.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the application itself takes some time to update changes made and can lag a bit. Nothing dramatic but it is annoying sometimes. The reporting could be improved, and I wish that it would show the original post when you are seeing replies in the smart inbox.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are an agency--we can easily manage several clients' profiles and have the basic metrics needed to evaluate our efforts in one tool.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If your clients don't need a lot of specifics regarding reporting and analytics, and you don't need a centralized inbox for all the various comments and @ mentions for your profiles, then this is just an expensive scheduling/publishing tool. It's great and fairly robust for smaller businesses, but I can imagine things falling through the cracks for larger organizations.

What do you like best about the product?
The program is very slick and intuitive. Also, the customer service is always available through chat.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's pretty spendy to add more seats into your plan.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Sprout Social makes social media management, advocacy and analytics software for businesses easy. Sprout helps us communicate with customers on social channels, collaborate across teams and measure the effectiveness of their efforts on all social channels.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am disappointed with Sprout Social’s lack of integration. Sprout Social only supports Twitter, Facebook (profiles & pages), Google+ pages, Instagram & LinkedIn (profiles & pages). I also don't like the lack of ability of displaying streams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social solves the following problems: Has an in built Customer Relationship Management system (CRM)
Monitoring (although not quite as comprehensive as Mention or the likes of Brandwatch)
Support for teams (drafts, calendar, tasks etc)
Support for multiple profiles, departments, and companies
Security and ability to set specific permission levels and roles
Analytics & Reports
Helpdesk facility (on Premium and above plans) to use social media for customer support
Mobile apps for iPhone, iPad and Android
Integrates with Feedly (for your RSS feeds)
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sprout Social will be the right tool for some businesses, and perhaps even you. The entry price (now the Deluxe plan) is $59/user/month, and that is going to be quite a leap for individuals and small businesses.

Great Asset for Any Social Media Manager

What do you like best about the product?
I really love the tagging ability on posts - makes it easy to categorize things and then send reports to the right teams. I love that I can schedule multiple posts at a time - that was pretty much one of the main criteria when we were evaluating platforms and some scheduling platforms wouldn't allow me to post multiple times - so I'd have to schedule them all individually!
What do you dislike about the product?
That there are no analytics - but now sprout and simply measured have merged so I'm looking forward to that!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling posts/multiple posts
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sprout Social is a must have for any social media manager - it just makes my job so much easier and manageable. Plus now with the Simply Measured integration you get both the day to day benefits and the analytics/monitoring benefits.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the Sprout Dashboard, on which I can find notifications from every platform, whether people tag us or simply mention one of our keywords.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that more features were included with the basic subscription that we have, since we're a small nonprofit with a limited budget.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social helps me to keep track of all the activity going on with our social media across our various social platforms. It also helps with analytics and scheduling of social content. It helps greatly with organization.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Seriously consider using this product! Even without a large budget, it's very useful. It's great for organization, monitoring, management, content scheduling, and analytics.
