Helpful tool for managing all channels
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to tag content to report on specific campaign performance
What do you dislike about the product?
You can't upload videos and photos into one carousel post (you have to schedule them separately) and you can't schedule pins with titles and descriptions (just descriptions)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The inbox/messages is a helpful tool so we don't miss comments and mentions.
Sprout Social is Efficient and User-Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing is the group reports. The group reports allow you to see how each profile is doing compared to one another in one snap-shot. There are also individual channel reports that break down each platform further.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few, small capabilities that I wish Sprout had, such as adding a unique thumbnail when uploading a native video to Twitter or LinkedIn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to get visibility into our social media efforts through Sprout's analytics. From this, we've made changes to improve our overall reach and engagement. We also use Sprout's listening tool to keep our finger on industry and market trends.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sprout is a great social media management tool if you're looking for an easy way to schedule, manage and analyze your social media presence.

What do you like best about the product?
User interface- tag report, hyperlinks to channels through messages.
What do you dislike about the product?
Message stamp rounds up after a half-hour or so. For example, a message received @ 8:32 will say message received an hour ago if itis still within the hour. Tag function does not work in isolated message mode, and most importantly when a new message appears in Sprout Inbox it does not indicate this until refreshing (on desktop version). When running the tag report and viewing specific messages, back arrow takes you back to tag criteria instead of the list of messages already displayed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tags being changed in Insta and Twitter- happening quicker than before (when running tag report). Hyperlinks connect strait to channels. Running /downloading reports to maintain accuracy.
Great for scheduling, but some reporting and scheduling could be improved
What do you like best about the product?
The scheduling functions are great and robust. The repost feature from messages is an awesome new function that will come in handy. Also adding notes to the calendar is great for planning ahead
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the reporting isn't super accurate. Splitting out paid vs. organic engagements for Facebook still isn't working correctly. There's no way to see what the Instagram feed will look like on desktop. Scheduling for Instagram stories is still buggy - it would be great to split this out on the calendar view. No drag and drop option in the calendar for posts.

Speed in scheduling and ease in reporting

What do you like best about the product?
Tagging in Sprout makes it so easy to organize content / campaigns. There are a ton of features that streamline social media marketing and make things really easy to understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's always unfortunate when there are glitches or bugs, but customer service is very responsive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Customer service is a big thing on social. Sprout allows us to find out when and where our clients are being brought up in conversation so we can quickly engage.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Getting on the phone with an account rep really helps. The more demos, the better your understanding!
The little things are the selling point
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout has, by far, the most impressive set of features in any social management platform. It's the little things that others can't compete with, like Instagram first comment, previewing each post as written, and the beautiful exported reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price is a little high considering our return on social management packages. The higher-ups in our organization inquired about why it's so expensive and if we would consider switching platforms. Even though we may not use Sprout at its fullest capabilities, it allows us to grow with the system and be prepared if we grow this part of our business.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted an easy way to work with each client individually in a platform. The groups allow our agency to easily schedule, pull reports and manage each profile in the most efficient way possible.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider time saving when thinking about the price. I easily cut my scheduling, content aggregation and previewing time down by half using Sprout
Great reports, but spoty service
What do you like best about the product?
I loved getting to dive into the reports portion of Sprout. All the data is great for being able to compare across different social media channels and for different date ranges. I also loved being able to compare against multiple sources. I also enjoy that I am able to give tasks to different teammates according and search for previously used content.
What do you dislike about the product?
The listening portion of Sprout is great but the set up can be a tad confusing. When wanting to learn more about our brand I got results unrelated. I think that more training can be done to teach people of the features of social listening and how to correctly attribute terms to your brand. Also having limited terms make It impossible to listen for everything across all channels according. If there was more training to help set these topics up it would be so helpful to dive more into what my customers are taking about.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to schedule all social posts across multiple channels. Having an asset library that is readily available is awesome! Also being able to see the scheduled posts used as a whole is perfect for deciding what to post next and what has had the highest engagement.
Efficient for scheduling and reporting without bloat.

Easily schedule social posts and keep up with engagement, as well as thorough analytics.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the more interesting features are under higher pay tiers which also include mostly features not applicable to our needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easily allows for scheduling posts for off-work hours and keep track of results.

Great value for the price vs competitors
Sprout it great for organization but has a few bugs.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Sprout funnels all of our channels into one, easy to navigate space. It is easy to clear the irrelevant ones in order to focus on the comments that matter which makes my job a whole lot easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
My company mainly uses the facebook features of Sprout and it doesn't seem that all the great things that sprout offers are always available for facebook. Also when we have many comments, crashes happen frequently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use sprout to organize facebook comments. It makes it easier for me and my team members to tackle all of the comments together instead of replying on Facebook.

What do you like best about the product?
The best part about Sprout is easy functionality of the systems and easy readability of the data.
What do you dislike about the product?
I just hope Sprout continues to grow and integrate as best as possible.

We're solving problems like hashtag research, demographic growth, posting schedules and much more.
