Fantastic platform for an agency
What do you like best about the product?
One of my favourite things about Sprout Social is the level of support we get from their team - no matter how small the issue, I can always count on our relationship manager to find a solution for us or source information from somewhere else to make sure we have an answer.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally the reporting can be buggy, but it seems like this is the case across the board with these platforms. Sprout Social does a good job of working with the relevant APIs to get things moving.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have multiple clients that we manage social media assets for, with some of them using their own Sprout Social accounts and providing access to us and regional managers across the world to allow them to contribute to the global marketing strategy.
Sprout makes our jobs more enjoyable and efficient - thanks for that!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Sprout gives our team access to so many accounts in one place - it really streamlines the process.
What do you dislike about the product?
For our business, sometimes sorting through the different features of Sprout turn up more that we don't know how to take advantage of than we do - there seems to be a big learning curve on how to best use the features by individual business. One size doesn't always fit all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the biggest things for our team is solving the issue of having frequent social engagement - Sprout makes it easy across dozens of accounts!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Evaluate your business needs first - I think we bit off more than we could chew with Sprout, but we're only finding Sprout's worth as time goes on. Plan ahead!
Best option we have found for managing all social media channels.
What do you like best about the product?
It combines all social media channels into one easy to manage inbox. No need to go to separate website to answer all our customers. It can be done on one page. It also makes it much easier to answer EVERY comment or message without missing ones that get buried on Facebook,
What do you dislike about the product?
The "task" feature could use some work. When assigning a task it should have the option to auto assign future responses to that team member. When you are going back and forth with a customer it is annoying to have to assign every single message to a certain team member.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saving time on social media management and monitoring. We are able to offer better customer support by using Sprout. It makes it easy to answer every customer without missing a single message. It's also great if you work with a team of multiple social media managers.
Mostly satisfied
What do you like best about the product?
I think the scheduling features are very easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like I'm missing out on capabilities like scheduling tweets with videos - only photos will load. Gifs have never worked for me in either Facebook or Twitter scheduling. My scheduled messages will often not go through, and only sometimes do I receive the error notification. Other times I will discover later on that my message didn't post, which is very disappointing for an editorial calendar.

Efficient use of time in scheduling and reporting. Bringing all incoming messages together and search options.
Amazing Management and Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social provides fast, accurate analytics that can be exported and delivered directly to my clients' hands, saving me hours of time on compiling reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Sprout has "everything but the kitchen sink," there are no features that are specifically unique to the platform itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a social media marketing company, it is important to us to tell our clients' stories in a straightforward, wide-reaching, and cost-effective manner. Sprout Social helps us manage these priorities through publishing tools, analytics, and more.
Great, but not perfect
What do you like best about the product?
Easily schedule posts, and can compare us to competitors in a snap!
What do you dislike about the product?
Posting doesn't always work. They also don't do well at identifying influencers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Can schedule out posts without having to physically be there. And can do it from anywhere! We can also track engagement rate and compare to competitors. There are so many great features!
A great platform that can do most of what I need to do
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to schedule publishing easily. I like the inbox, it really lets me know about most of the social traffic coming my way. I like the Group Report.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how I can't see scheduled posts after they were scheduled and sent out. I'd like to see what I did, have a history of Sprout use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
How to find out when we are mentioned and interacting with people who don't know we are on social. We have definitely improved our private messaging and personal communications through Sprout.

This is a great platform if you need to do mass social scheduling, monitor all your mentions and answer messages all in one place.

What do you like best about the product?
Simple to use and an organized interface. My business would run as smooth without it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Search feature could be more specific. I would like to search by topic and location under people. Unfortunately this is not a current option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to connect with everyone in one space with the history of each person. Sprout takes care of everything from publishing to CRM.

What do you like best about the product?
Smart inbox and ability to choose and combine specific things like direct messages, mentions, retweets, new followers, etc from Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that I cannot tag photos for Twitter in Sprout Social- but I realize that it might be a Twitter limitation instead of a Sprout limitation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to better stay on top of mentions and comments from multiple social media networks by going to a single place. Also, Facebook doesn't always notify me of new Page messages, so those could potentially be missed-- but they always show up in my Smart Inbox.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take advantage of the free trial to play with all the features.

I like scheduling in calendar view and easily viewing results for all platforms on one screen.

I wish it could handle larger image sizes for scheduling.
