Very Easy To Do Scheduled Social Posts

  • January 05, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It makes it easy to keep track of my twitter party interactions
What do you dislike about the product?
The price is a bit high for someone just starting out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to send pre-written content for multiple platforms. This makes my work load much easier to handle.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Easy to use but pricey

    Computer Software

A Full-Service Social Media Suite

  • January 05, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Offers the best variety of social source monitoring, great built-in publishing and curation, and an expanding arsenal of reports across social networks, cleverly integrated with Google Analytics in a stunning interface that's easy to learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
Every so often it seems to drop one of my accounts (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn) but doesn't alert me until the post has failed. The current features are enough for our day-to-day work, but there are a few we'd like to see added (Pinterest, downloading comments for winner selection on IG posts, scheduling IG stories, etc.)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It consolidates a lot of our customer service.

Great for Scheduling

  • January 04, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Scheduling posts, responding to messages
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting is fragmented, wish there was an overview instead of clicking into each platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Able to schedule all social in bulk, saves time, allows us to have an overview of content going out

BEST Social Manager Platform

  • January 04, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. The system is super easy to learn and takes only a few minutes to set up!
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a couple little quirks that could be fixed. When a reply comes through for a hidden message, it looks like the original message gets unhidden. It hasn't been, but I think there could be a better way to show it is a hidden message.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Manage ad comments. We have so many ads running, it's really difficult to keep track of all the comments and get ahead of any angry customers. Often times 1-2 angry comments can spiral out of control. It's great to be able to have a quick and easy way to make sure we're answering any questions or issues our customers are having.

Sprout

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Incredibly easy to schedule posts and create reports for the various platforms
What do you dislike about the product?
Once a post has gone live, the historical view of what was posted in the calendar is not an option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social media management for scheduling a large volume of posts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Really easy to use, learn, and implement.

Minimalistic, yet all you need and more!

  • January 03, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Everything. You can schedule tweets for any minute—not just every five minutes. I also love Sprout Social. The insights and analytics are great, and the free cropping feature they provide, Landscape, is incredibly helpful and useful for cropping photos across social media platforms--for Twitter, Facebook, Instagram... it's amazing. Even though our team has changed from Sprout to Hootsuite (an organization-wide move), I still use Landscape quite frequently when preparing photos that are going to be used on social media. By the way, our small team misses Sprout social. It met our specific team's needs better. It was quick, easy, minimalistic and not jumbled.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing--and that's the truth! It's that good! There was never one hiccup that Sprout gave us. The reports were great, it was user-friendly, and scheduling came with ease. On Hootsuite, if you tag, it adds a space and a weird Twitter icon. Sprout doesn't do that kind of stuff. So fantastic!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was wonderful for scheduling. So much of our social media team's content was more urgent--not campaign based--and needed to be sent and scheduled quickly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for it! It's wonderful. We have made the switch to Hootsuite (an organization-wide change), but our small team got more out of Sprout Social. We've been blindsided by Hootsuite with different issues and weird little bugs, but not one issue ever arose from Sprout.

    Public Policy

Easy to use, some of the functionalities aren't perfect.

  • January 03, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to have multiple people working from the same organization. The scheduling aspect is also key.
What do you dislike about the product?
Photos on Facebook appear as "sprout social photos"
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helpful to have more than one person posting to our social accounts; live tweeting is made much easier; the social media manager can act as a hub for review while other employees can be in more than one places.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Useful, particularly if you use a hub and spokes model for your communications team.

Pound for pound the best social media management tool

  • January 02, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This tool gives all the functionality of the expensive solutions, but at a mid-tier price point.
What do you dislike about the product?
They're still working for deeper integration with publishing on some platforms...but so are all the other guys.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Audience activity...we're finding different nuances globally and the reporting capabilities of SproutSocial are amazing at understanding those complexities.

    Broadcast Media

Great for entry level brands

  • January 02, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The mobile app is very easy to use! Makes it easy on the go in the hectic world of social.
What do you dislike about the product?
Analytic capabilities need to get better. Acquisition of simply measured is huge and will be interesting to see how this will change the platform. But not an all in one platform (yet) for data and social publishing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communication and approvals between our agency and social members. Makes it easy to see what’s in drafts and make approvals.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great for smaller brands looking to use a smaller social marketing product with great pricing

The best of social media and CRM

  • January 01, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love that sprout is more thank just a social media publishing platform. The all in one inbox is awesome and with extensive tagging and analytics it enables me to manage social customer service and relationship management all in one!
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike like that photos uploaded to a post do not automatically uploaded to the asset library. I have enterprise version and this would save me a lot of time (literally 2x upload if I am composing a post first then realize the visual asset would be good to leverage ongoing).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Business problems solved = social media publishing and analytics are all-in-one including cross-platform reporting. No need for separate social crm. Saves me tons of time and reporting capabilities are greater than those in each native social media platform.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sprout's tools and road-map for future features is fantastic. I researched over 25 options myself and Sprout offers the right mix for my current business needs.
