Sprout Social creates a unified place to work out of, as opposed to managing multiple apps and platforms separately.
Effortless Collaboration and User-Friendly Interface for Reliable Publishing and Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
Collaborating in Sprout Social, especially when it comes to approvals, edits, and comments, is more straightforward than with any other tool I’ve used. I also really appreciate how user-friendly the interface is, both for publishing content and for generating reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to find a real downside to using Sprout Social. While I believe some other tools may be quicker to integrate with new social media channels, Sprout Social consistently does an excellent job of releasing integrations once they are fully ready and able to meet users' expectations. The only other thing is that it can be annoying to reconnect your social media channels so frequently when you have lots of posts that need to go out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social has simplified the process of editing, reviewing, and approving posts for me across different products and platforms. It also allows me to more easily track how those posts are performing. I enjoy the listening tools as well and being able to find trends quickly.
Insightful Analytics, But Social Listening Could Be More Affordable

l love the analytics portion the most, it gives great insight to performance and educates us about our strategy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the social listening was more refined and not as costly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Eases some of the process in scheduling content and teaches us from an analytical standpoint what resonates with our audience.
Sprout Social Streamlines Management, But Platform Customization Needs Work
What do you like best about the product?
I've utilized Sprout Social and Sprout Influencer -Sprout Social has been a great tool for keeping all of our social media efforts organized and streamlined. I really like being able to track different profiles in one place and quickly see performance insights without pulling separate reports. The dashboard is clean and pretty intuitive, and I’ve found the scheduling and approval workflows helpful for staying on top of content. We also like being able to monitor messages and comments in one inbox – makes community management so much easier. Overall, it saves time and helps keep everything consistent across channels. Sprout Influencer has changed the way Tagger worked overall and seems to be relying on more data estimation than real data which has been frustrating.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I was managing lots of social content, having to make all the copies per platform vs being able to fine tune per platform was irritating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social helps us streamline our social media workflow by bringing publishing, reporting, and community management into one platform. Instead of juggling multiple tools and trying to track conversations or performance manually, Sprout centralizes everything and makes it easy to collaborate as a team. The ability to monitor and respond to messages quickly has improved our response time, and the built-in reporting saves us a ton of time pulling data across platforms. Overall, it's helped us stay more organized, proactive, and efficient with our social presence.
All-in-One Platform That Covers Everything
What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most is that it serves as an all-in-one platform. The ability to tag content for analysis is especially useful, and I like the feature that suggests optimal days and times for better engagement. Since I manage multiple accounts, I also value being able to create a post for one channel and easily adapt it for others within the same workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have anything negative to say about the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Posting to multiple platforms, that require changes per platform, all at the same time.
Decent Tool but Overpriced with Unreliable Support
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that Sprout Social consolidates various tools into one place, which was a significant factor for choosing it over other platforms. The setup was facilitated effectively by their representatives, ensuring a smooth transition to the new system. However, one aspect I truly value is the influencer tool, previously known as Tagger, which has proven exceptionally productive for us despite other areas that need improvement.
What do you dislike about the product?
{"I feel that the user experience on the organic management portion of Sprout Social has not been productive or helpful. It seems to have stalled in terms of opportunity and growth.","I don't feel that consolidating planning, approval processes, production, and scheduling with Sprout Social has benefited our work. It has actually made it harder and less streamlined.","We have not found Sprout Social's social management tool or its improvements to employee advocacy helpful or worthwhile.","The API access charges are a concern for us, as it limits our ability to use our analytics platform to its fullest potential without incurring extra costs.","The employee advocacy feature feels stagnant and lacks improvements. The organic tool's approval flow is difficult and time-consuming, hindering efficient work.","The cost of using Sprout Social, particularly with tools like Tagger, is too high for the level of usage we have, making it not feasible for our agency's size.","There has been a significant reduction in support since the acquisition. The previous direct support from individuals has been replaced by an unreliable support inbox."}
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social aimed to consolidate our planning and scheduling of content, but instead, it made the process harder and less streamlined.
Convenient Multi-Account Scheduling, But Pricey and Lacks Reel Sound Support
What do you like best about the product?
One feature I appreciate is the ability to link multiple accounts on Sprout for scheduling. This makes managing different profiles much more convenient.
What do you dislike about the product?
The monthly cost of $430 feels quite high. Additionally, I’m disappointed that I can’t schedule reels with trending sounds—I still have to handle that manually within Instagram.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing several brands, each with its own social media profiles, can be challenging, so I find it extremely useful to have everything consolidated in one platform where I can schedule content in advance. I also appreciate the ability to generate reports for all the brands from the same place.
Powerful for Reports, Difficult to Navigate
What do you like best about the product?
I love how the use of tags in Sprout Social makes it easier for me to organize the types of content I publish. This functionality is especially useful when I need to produce around four reports a month, as it significantly simplifies this process. Additionally, the ability to schedule content on different platforms is a feature I highly value, especially with API updates that allow, for example, uploading PDFs for LinkedIn or adding collaborators on Instagram. These functions not only make my workflow more efficient but also allow me to make the most of the available features to maintain an active and updated presence on various social platforms simultaneously. Finding these conveniences in Sprout Social definitely enhances my productivity and makes social media management less laborious.
What do you dislike about the product?
It seems to me that Sprout Social has a rather difficult interface that is not user-friendly at all. It took me a while to understand how it worked, and I would say it took me 1 or 2 months to fully adapt. I would change the interface to make it easier to navigate and would allow creating widgets and adding elements more easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social to organize and tag content, which makes it easier to create monthly reports. It also allows me to schedule content on multiple platforms, adapting to API updates like on LinkedIn and Instagram.
Convenient Scheduling and Calendar, But Approval Process Needs Work
What do you like best about the product?
Very convenient to be able to schedule posts at my own convenience; easy duplication of posts; the calendar view is very useful for seeing holes in the schedule
What do you dislike about the product?
The "approval" process for moderated posts is a bit clunky, and it's cumbersome to try to find and repost any "expired" posts; the way that Instagram posts are set up is not intuitive
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Juggling various social media accounts--Sprout Social is very useful for staying on top of things and avoiding confusion
Effortless Social Sharing
What do you like best about the product?
Makes it easy to share on social for multiple brands
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it would shorten URLs indefinitely but we only get a certain amount per month.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy posting and reporting on engagement
