Intuitive and User-Friendly, But Costly Custom Reports
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how intuitive Sprout Social is, which greatly facilitates the management of our university's social media accounts. The setup process was incredibly easy, especially with the personal support provided by a Sprout Social representative, which made the onboarding experience smooth and hassle-free.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the ability to build custom reports didn't cost so much extra.

I use Sprout Social for content planning, reporting, AI intelligence, team collaborations, and organization, making social media management for the university efficient.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Sprout Social's ability to unify community management across all social channels with the smart inbox, which is a lifesaver for our lean team. This feature streamlines our workflow and makes managing our social presence much more manageable. The social listening capabilities of Sprout Social are invaluable for measuring our success, tracking competitors, and staying updated with industry trends. Additionally, our Customer Success Manager (CSM) is extremely helpful whenever we encounter issues, ensuring that our operations run smoothly. The setup process was very easy thanks to the assistance from the CSMs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that the social media scheduled posting feature can be finicky at times, which disrupts my scheduling process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social to unify social channels for community management, employ social listening to measure success, and track competitors efficiently.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Sprout Social is constantly evolving, as they are always improving things, which means there are always new features being added. I appreciate how Sprout Social is in touch with their customers and genuinely considers what we use on a daily basis. I love using tags for organizing all of our outgoing and incoming messages, as it allows us to pull effective reports, based on our unique content and engagement strategies. This feature significantly enhances our reporting capabilities, providing valuable insights. Overall, the consistent updates and thoughtful enhancements stand out as major strengths.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel that Sprout Social is limited by what the native platforms allow. For example, I would love better reporting on Instagram Reels, but I understand that it's more about Instagram's API than a shortcoming of Sprout Social itself.

I use Sprout Social to schedule content and generate custom reports dynamically, manage a team with shared assets, and improve efficiency by centralizing platforms into one space.
All Accounts in One Calendar—A Game-Changer!

Multiple accounts on one big calendar make it easy to schedule

the mobile app experience is not ideal, it is hard to view things on the app.

Sprout solves the problem of scheduling out one post on different platforms by allowing you to do it all in one step.

I love the scheduling feature that allows an external approver.

Sometimes features (like more than 3 collab partners) take longer to get added to Sprout.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, analytics reporting, competitive analysis tools, and scheduling software for our social channels.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish it would stay connected to various platforms longer and provide better automated insights about trending content or how to engage with our specific Customers.

Sprout gives us insight into how our social are performing, compares us to the industry, and allows us to interact with customers using the smart inbox feature and reply to Customers while monitoring replies.
Sprout is a Fantastic Tool for Your Team - Although Expensive!
What do you like best about the product?
Full suite of services, easy to use, easy to collaborate with team members and fairly reliable
What do you dislike about the product?
Very expensive, although you do get what you pay for compared to other platforms on the market. Hard to add team members, new platforms are slow to integrate and lack some services
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a one-person team, so I need a platform that can basically do it all for me. Sprout is a great tool for managing all my content within an easy-to-use and view platform. The analytics feature is also fantastic for me. I love using the tag reports as well to manage content to share with teams across my organization.

I really enjoy the optimal posting time feature of Sprout Social. This tool allows us to maximize the visibility of our posts, ensuring the most eyes on our content. Additionally, I find the detailed reporting feature incredibly beneficial. It provides me with clear insights into which posts are performing well and resonating with our audience. This enables me to adjust our strategies accordingly by either creating more content of a similar nature or scaling back on the kinds that don't perform as well. The initial setup of Sprout Social for our team was easy, contributing to its user-friendliness.
What do you dislike about the product?
I experience significantly lower views on TikTok when posting through Sprout Social compared to direct posting on TikTok. This challenge suggests a back-end issue within Sprout Social that impacts the reach or engagement of posts, despite the content appearing on TikTok.

I use Sprout Social for managing social media, optimizing post times for maximum visibility, and analyzing post performance to enhance audience engagement.

What do you like best about the product?
I love all of the tools in Sprout Social for tracking certain campaigns. Being able to tag different campaigns is a feature that stands out as it makes it easy for us to pull data and show how each campaign performs. This functionality greatly enhances our ability to analyze the success of our marketing efforts and make informed decisions. Additionally, the transition to Sprout Social from Agora Pulse was motivated by the abundance of resources it offers for our team to utilize, which has been incredibly beneficial. The initial setup of Sprout Social was very easy, further adding to its appeal. Overall, Sprout Social provides a robust platform for my job, offering tools and ease of use that significantly contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of managing our social media campaigns.

I've experienced issues with Sprout Social when it comes to integrating certain social accounts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social for scheduling, writing captions, and creating content. Its tools help track and tag campaigns, making it easy to pull performance data. Sprout Social offers more resources for my team than our previous tool, Agora Pulse.
