What do you like best about the product?
I find the Smart Inbox feature in Sprout Social incredibly valuable. It's not just a typical inbox for viewing comments, but a collaborative workspace that allows my team to communicate effectively and manage customer interactions seamlessly. We can delegate messages to specific team members, ensuring there's clarity on who is handling what, which helps in maintaining a quick customer service response time. It’s crucial for keeping a continuous check on customer interactions, even across multiple platforms, without missing a beat. Additionally, Sprout Social's automation capabilities in content scheduling are fantastic, reliably executing tasks without the need for constant manual checks. The platform merges scheduling, listening, and reporting in one place, saving us significant time by reducing the need to switch between different tools. This consolidation has greatly improved our team's workflow efficiency. The platform's maturity is evident in the ease of initial setup, which was minimal, reinforcing its robustness and user-friendliness.
What do you dislike about the product?
The two main areas that could be improved in Sprout Social are its cost and the ability to desgin inside the platform.

I use Sprout Social to automate content scheduling and integrate our tools, solving issues with disconnected services. It's a reliable solution for managing social media tasks in one place, increasing efficiency by minimizing manual oversight and ensuring precise scheduling.
Exceptionally Effective with Detailed Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Sprout Social for its ability to provide detailed reporting. This feature is incredibly beneficial to me as it allows for detailed, proper tagging which ensures that I receive the best possible insights from the reports. The tags simplify the process of analyzing our social media content by allowing us to track our post topics effectively. Additionally, Sprout Social enables me to analyze when our content is most successful, which is crucial for optimizing our social media strategy. Overall, the detailed analysis and reporting capabilities of Sprout Social greatly enhance my social media monitoring and posting activities.

I would love to be able to monitor competitor accounts through the platform.

The way profiles continuously get disconnected and how it is hard to get help when running into an issue

The ease of scheduling multiple posts at once on different platforms and customizing each one per platform
What do you dislike about the product?
Currently unable to post stories to Facebook, only Instagram. Also, the need for a mobile publisher to post a story to Instagram.

Saving time with the ease of scheduling multiple posts ahead of time
Sprout Is Great But Limiting
What do you like best about the product?
I like how user friendly Sprout is! I think the tagging structure is awesome

There are parts of Sprout that are limited. We have to do a lot of in-app posting when Sprout is unable to accomodate the features we need (e.g., tagging creators in Instagram reels, adding audio to videos that credits the creator, etc.)

I am the primary publisher for a few of our clients at the agency. Sprout has been straightforward and is easy to use.

It saves me time and helps keep everything organized in one place. Overall, it’s a reliable and user-friendly tool for managing social media efficiently.

Sometimes when using on the computer it's difficult to see the caption when clicking on the preview.

The platform allows me to effortlessly access post statistics and generate comprehensive performance reports on multiple platforms, making it invaluable for assessing the success of my social media strategies. Additionally, the initial setup was hassle-free, and I encountered no issues accessing my account, which speaks volumes about its user-friendly design. These aspects make my experience with Sprout Social efficient and effective, and I feel confident in recommending it to others with a high likelihood of 8 out of 10.

I wish we could bold or italicize text for posts.

Effortless Social Scheduling with Robust Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
We are able to schedule social posts with ease cross-platform. I also enjoy the metrics/analytics Sprout reports — the weekly snapshots, especially, are helpful. I use Sprout daily for my job and it has made my overall day-to-day work life immensely easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Right now, my biggest frustration is not being able to post multimedia carousels on Instagram. Every time we have a carousel post that includes animated sickers on some slides (making them mp4 files), I have to manually schedule the post in Instagram's app.
Also, sometimes, Sprout can be late to adapt to new social platform features (for example, it took a while to have the option of adding collaborators to Instagram posts).

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Without Sprout, I would have to manually schedule posts. With our organization posting 3-4 times a week on each platform (so, 12-16 posts a week total), this would be very time consuming without Sprout. Sprout also allows me to view all metrics in one place, saving me from having to go to each platform individually to collect analytics.

What do you like best about the product?
The dashboard is easy to use and provides great reporting and post scheduling tools. I also love the competitor insights. I use this tool multiple times a day!

I wish brand health reporting was a more cost-effective option to add.

It covers all the key features you need - scheduling, reporting, monitoring, and engagement - without being overly complicated. The customer service is excellent, and the reporting tools are solid. It’s a straightforward, reliable platform that delivers great value for the price and is ideal for most companies that want an efficient, no-fuss social media management solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
There aren’t as many options for customization, especially in reporting, compared to some other tools I’ve used. The integrations are a bit more limited, and the media monitoring isn’t as advanced or in-depth as some competitors. That said, it does exactly what you need it to do for core social management tasks, and the simplicity is part of what makes it so easy to use.
