The most efficient non open source ESB on the market
What do you like best about the product?
The solution is high-speed and efficient. I appreciate the partnership approach to cooperation, also after software implementation.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's the disadvantage of every solution of this type - access to developers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With this project, we started the entire process of the digital transformation of our company. After five years, we are still automating processes automation—building standards based on SOA Governance and deliver value for the business.

What do you like best about the product?
B2B Integration, APAMA and powerful inbuilt services to integrate with multiple platforms
What do you dislike about the product?
My webMethods Server. Though SAG want to incorporate everything into one component MWS, it has became clumsy and performance wise the TN component we had earlier in 7.1.2 was better wrt performance and usability
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trading partner onboarding, Integration with multiple platforms like Oracle, MF, SAP. ease of use and build an integration solution

Software AG - WebMethods : One of the Top Class Middleware Tool for an Enterprise
What do you like best about the product?
Overall its one of the top middleware tools which suits the Organisation's need to provide solution in all architectural patterns - like SOA, A2A, A2C, B2B, EDA etc. One of the strongest feature of the product is its Messaging Layer - Universal Messaging that helps you design a topology for all patterns coming under Asynchronous Flows and patterns. The ESB also provides you a wide variety of utility level services which eases your integration development to a great extent.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the drawbacks of this tool which Software AG is planning to address in its upcoming release is on its Cloud Offerings like providing a multi-tenant Cloud based IPaas which will be a definite advantage for organisations who are moving towards a Cloud based Architecture for their Enterprise needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
WebMethods addresses most of your business problems and provides all the necessary components to help you decouple your Source and Target Systems. The biggest advantage being the ability to move through Transition Architectures to a Target Architecture state with minimal impact on the end systems.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Wait for release of IPaas version. The latest version getting launch has a lot to offer in terms of API Management, Containerisation in Docker etc.
Enterprise business process integration software
What do you like best about the product?
Allows exisitng legacy and modern applications to work together using IS adapters (Websphere MQ Adapter, JMS Adapter, Oracle Apps Adapter , JDBC Adapter), inbuild services like appendToDocumentList etc. with variety of protocols. Integrated platform that includes both service-oriented architecture (SOA) and business process management (BPM).BPM allows to develop business process in a graphical way.Business people jumps on-board and particiapte in the design phase. Sandbox Availability for trial and hands-on.
What do you dislike about the product?
Do not have much video tutorials on Internet to understand things quickly. For every new functionality, have to read overall documentation to start implementing. Very few tutes are available convering high level basics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using BPM to develop our business processes. Heterogenous Application Integration is done using Designer Integration Sever. Easy to troubleshoot since it shows graphical flow of message end to end.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Whole suite by single vendor , be it Integration server, API management , BPM etc. I will say its a wonderful job by Webmehtods by reducing efforts and overhead to maintain different tools from differnet vendors.

Proprietary flow language, performance is not as good as java for logic / loops, etc.

4..Bettering message broker for IOT and other(Replacement of webMethods Native broker).
5.UM is good when comparing with other products.It is supporting MQTT, AMQT protocols.
6.webMethods Bpm provides better solutions when comparing with other BPM products.
7.work flow design is very good.easy to learn, user-friendly.

Basically, It is not under OSS.
Community support is less comparing with IBM support.

By using webMethods Trading networks I resolved B2B reconciliation problems, webMethods supports for both EAI, B2B.Terracotta.
Currently, we are providing solutions by using Terracotta for IS clustering.
As of now, we are Excellent in B2B side.like as dealing EDIs, Edifacts.
