Well thought out integration platform with potential
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is perfect in what it has been designed for. It gives room both for workflows and flowservices that gives the right tools to build the required integrations. wM.io comes with a bunch of predefined connectors which are usefull when using SaaS applications. On top of that it is possible to define REST connectors to any other application. If not enough it connects really easy to the on-prem wM. By this hybride integrations are easy achievable.
Allthough it is not that intuitive as I would like to see the learning curve is not that high. We could write integrations within a few weeks with less training.

What do you dislike about the product?
Right now the two greatest issues are the release feature and lack of shared components. There are options to push projects to other environments but this is not ideal and requires still manual interventions causing differences between dev/test and production. I must say that there are promising improvements ahead in 2023 to have it git connected. SAG is really listening to their users and acting on this.
It would also be great if the logging features could be expanded. This would help developers to understand issues/shortcomings faster.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us to: 1) get a loosely coupled application landscape, 2) one uniform way of integrations, 3) easy monitoring of integrations. On top of this it helps us in creating API services. Both helps us in our digitalisation ambitions to optimize and innovate and become service oriented.
A rapidly improving iPaaS that works natively with traditional webMethods
What do you like best about the product?
webMethods.io Integation is truly an easy to use low-code/no-code platform. It comes out of the box with adapters/connectors to services that should cater for most of the market. It's real strength is native integration with the traditional self-hosted webMethods installations, whether it is in a datacentre or in the cloud. This means companies who have invested heavily in webMethods for their IT assets can continue to get value out of them.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is obvious that the target audience remains "citizen developers" rather than the traditional "integration developers". This means governance processes need to be established if citizen developers are indeed the way to go. For your normal run-of-the-mill experienced developers, the browser based UI is not the best.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are considering webMethods.io Integration as one of the iPaaS options to enable easier cloud to cloud integratino and on-premise data integration.
A product you can trust blindly

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike but i can suggest that they should start free workshop trainings
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using webMethods.io (just for learning) realized that this increases the scalability and flexibility, also having advanced security features .
webMethods, the middleware provider for Everything

What do you dislike about the product?
There's a learning curve, which is normal. Harder to find employees, but they're out there.

What do you dislike about the product?
Bit of a Learning Curve: Wrapping your head around webMethods.io Integration might not be as simple as a sweet tea on a hot day. It might take a minute to get the hang of all the features and how they dance together. It's like learning a new dance – a bit tricky at first.
Not Exactly Free as a Bird: Unlike fireflies on a summer night, webMethods.io Integration ain't totally free. It might put a little dent in your wallet to use, so you gotta reckon with your budget.
Keep an Eye on Updates: Just like an old dirt road, this software needs regular upkeep. Updates can be helpful, like fixing potholes on that road, but sometimes they can slow down your ride.
Tech Hiccups and Headaches: Sometimes, technology throws us for a loop. If webMethods.io Integration hits a rough patch, it could put the brakes on your work. Imagine your favorite fishing spot suddenly drying up – not exactly a barrel of fun.
Not One Size Fits All: While webMethods.io Integration is a fine tool for connecting programs, it ain't suited for every Tom, Dick, and Harry. If you ain't juggling a bunch of computer tasks or connections, it might be like using a tractor for a little backyard garden.
Big Plans, Big Challenges: For real intricate tasks, webMethods.io Integration might find itself out of its depth. Like trying to wrangle a herd of cattle with a lasso meant for squirrels – it might struggle with hefty, complicated projects.
Safety on Your Mind: Sometimes, when programs start chit-chatting, there's worries about keeping things locked up tight. While webMethods.io Integration does its best, you might need to double-check that your info stays hush-hush.
Limits on Creativity: If you're the creative sort who likes to blaze new trails, this software might clip your wings a tad. It's like painting within the lines – great for some masterpieces, but not if you're trying to paint the whole barn.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Application integration and cloud security.
Reliable enterprise integration
What do you like best about the product?
webmethods.io is based on proven technology and solid architectural choices. The web interface is modern and easy to use. In the future on premise and cloud will work together and expert developers will be able to use Designer, where low code or occasional users can use the web interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
As an integration expert I'd like to have full control over all components and logging and sometimes the clean interfaces hides information. For instance the queuing (UM) mechanism can't be accessed directly, but is configured and used as a background service. Lastly I'd like the Trading Networks (TN) interface to observe Transactions and their activities and I think it's currently easier to use than the webmethods.io end-to-end monitoring.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its short lead time to set up compared to the on premises counterpart brings it into current times and gives it a good chance at the competition. Secondly, the licensing structure is much better to sell to customers compared to the previous license structure.
Stable product releases
What do you like best about the product?
We are using a SAG on-premise solution which is super stable.
What do you dislike about the product?
For on-premise application, version changes are too frequent, which increases overall maintenance cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it as an Enterpise Service Bus and this platform is supporting huge volume of transactions. This system make sure that we need not to build transaction reliability into seperate systems.

A new way to integration
What do you like best about the product?
comparing SoftwareAG webmethods.io to its direct competitors, it is totally on another level, the experience of creating an integration flow is guided and much simpler
What do you dislike about the product?
Actually there isn't a thing i don't like, being on cloud it's a little frustating that I cannot use and have any type of governance over the virtual machines, but that's understandable
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we are able to send to retirement some old on premise integration system, such as SAP Process Orchestrator and be able to deploy integration flow in a faster way
