What do you like best about the product?
Once you understand the structure and way of working, you can easily generate a high-level dashboard for your organization. It saves an enormous amount of time, as well in developing as in interpreting the data. This system generates accurate, easy to understand data allowing to take better management decisions.
The support of the Cumul organization is also a very important and well-appreciated point.

What do you dislike about the product?
You need to invest some time to understand the way of working. But once you got the point, it’s a fantastic tool which I would recommend to everybody!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thanks to this tool we can generate accurate dashboards

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy and intuitive the chart and dashboard creation is! We were able to get going in no time and build beautiful, fully interactive charts which rich linking and filtering capabilities out the box!
I also loved that there's no SQL editor that you 1st have to wrangle to get something out, anywhere in sight.
That doesn't mean that you can't churn out some fairly complex visualizations...you just have to prepare your dataset in the right way first... which imho is the correct level separation of concerns for something like this.
Actually embedding dashboards and graphs is also a simple, one-liner JS copy-and paste affair.... if you can manage a Google tracking script, you can manage this!
When you are displaying visualisations inside your platform for your authenticated users, there's an API and with client implementations in various languages available, which allows you to securely embed views, pre-filtered to relevant data of each user... perfect for a Saas platform.
I also loved that there's no SQL editor that you 1st have to wrangle to get something out, anywhere in sight.

What do you dislike about the product?
A minor complaint would that the documentation, albeit very well presented in an "academy" for end-user use, along with developer documentation for embedding, creating custom data connectors, etc... is a little lacking in places. They are however filling it out with articles and how to's continually, so it is improving. The upside is that the support team is responsive and very helpful and friendly... and in the few cases we needed a bit more advanced help, we got access to the core engineers.

We provide a B2B SaaS app to the financial services industry. We deal with a lot of financial data... and needed a way to visualize that data inside our platform.
The criteria included:
- flexible, fast execution, with quick turnaround time on new charts, dashboards and amendments to existing ones
- first-class embedding/integration options, because our main use case was to roll out sets of dashboards to different segments of our user base
- high enough a level of abstraction, so that a tech savvy business analyst could craete dashboards and graphs with little to zero help from IT (other than preparing datasets)
We evaluated a TON of products over an 18 month period, but never found quite the right balance of features, flexibility and ease-of-use that we were looking for. We had almost given up hope and was about to (reluctantly) go with one of the better-known players in the market... that is until we came across Cumulio.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Unless you have an in-house team of data scientist who eats R for breakfast and defecates Python... then this is a top-notch option for embedded analytics. Haroen (founder) and his team know what they are doing and so far have been a safe pair of hands for the very few any questions or issues we have encountered
