An email designer's dream
What do you like best about the product?
The email builder in Iterable is fantastic and incredibly user-friendly. It's intuitive while not being so basic its restrictive. After using MailChimp for years, it was a breath of fresh air. My team can produce dynamic and much more personalized content with Iterable's features in a way that will allow us to "level up" the capabilities of our program in the very near future. We're excited about the new possibilities, highly recommend!
What do you dislike about the product?
The Iterable reps have been good so far (leagues and beyond the support we got on our former ESP), but I think we're still wanting more personalized and knowledgeable support. I expect better support will come with time as they get to know our needs as a team, so the jury is still out. And to their credit, the staff we've interacted with have always gone back and looked for better answers when we've pushed them to dive in deeper, and that's an encouraging sign. In short, we can tell Iterable's team is newer to offering customer support on the level we need. However, I think as the platform becomes more established, their reps will become more proficient. Something to note but overall and long-term, I personally have no concerns at this time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We desperately needed an ESP that would give us visibility and ownership over automated (triggered) emails without the need for professional developers. Iterable provided that capability to us. We can now handle set up and maintenance of these types of emails with the skills we have as email marketers.
Iterable Experience
What do you like best about the product?
I like that iterable is the most intuitive email CRM tool that I've used to date. I like that it's easy to simply copy old campaigns and update them with the new subject. It makes it a great platform to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are often changes that are made too quickly to the interface so it can be a little difficult from time to time to get used to the interface. Other than that, I find that iterable works great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Iterable is solving the issue of having to send multiple individual emails. It allows us at our company to easily submit list, add and update that list, and send emails to multiple customers without much work to do.
Helpful and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
- The level of customization for messages
- Journeys are helpful for automating campaigns or blasts/popups
- Drag and drop editor makes building campaigns and journeys easy
- Ability to put campaigns and journeys in folders and subfolders helps with organization
- Being able to have a journey as a draft and then publish changes later is helpful in ensuring they can be approved before launching
- There's a sandbox, which is helpful for trying out/testing messages

What do you dislike about the product?
- It would be helpful if journeys could be scheduled to start and stop. I don't remember if this was something that could be done previously but I had a difficult time finding this option.
- When you update the template of a campaign to reflect a different design, it resets the entire message and then you have to retype everything. The ability to update/apply a different design/template to a campaign without losing the messaging would be super helpful.
- It would be helpful if the same template designs from the "live" section could be applied in the sandbox. The same templates/designs have to be recreated in the sandbox, which is a hassle.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- It helps us send messages to our customers via automation (journey), campaign, and popups. The list builder and different conditions that can be selected are also helpful.
Powerful email marketing tool!
What do you like best about the product?
Iterable is easy and intuitive to use. There is a lot of flexibility with the layout and styles of email templates. The best part of my Iterable experience was the friendly and helpful customer support!
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not include the customer management capabilities of other platforms. This sometimes made it complicated to manage customer lists for sending targeted emails.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's an out-of-the-box email platform that people across any organization can use. You don't need to be a pro email marketer to start using the many tools and capabilities in Iterable.
Great Tool for Lifecycle Marketing
What do you like best about the product?
The segmentation tool is top notch. I've learned different querying languages but this just makes things soo easy. Also love the workflow tools and the easy visualization with them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting dashboard tools leave a good amount to be desired, when I share a dashboard I have created I have no way to share department or organization wide. Hoping this will be added in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All things automation, it saves us so much time and keeps our ship running 24/7. Let's us gain insights through AB Tests, look up users, and view our full customer lifecycle.
Fantastic technical support
What do you like best about the product?
Iterable is very reliable regarding complex segmentation and journeys to trigger correctly. On top of this, the technical support that is readily available via chat has done wonders for our troubleshooting and learning curves.
What do you dislike about the product?
Iterable needs to make the product easier to use and understand for non-technical users. As it stands, I would say Iterable has the most complex learning curve on the market.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Iterable helps us use it as an extension of our product. Being able to utilize lots of profile updates, journey webhooks, etc has allowed us to solve a lot of issues with timing for our consumer product.
All you need for the entire user journey.
What do you like best about the product?
Journey Builder. It gives you the ability to build out comprehensive messaging flows across text messaging, email, push notifications, and in-app messaging all in one place. Custom Events is also a really amazing way to track the success of your campaigns.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, it can be pretty API / technically dependent. It's not a tool that you can plug in and play right away. You really need to nail the implementation to ensure success with it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves a few: 1. Puts all of our communications across all channels in one place. 2. Conversion tracking - We can't attribute real success metrics to a campaign. 3. A/B testing - Great framework for easily creating experiements
Great user interface backed by top notch customer support
What do you like best about the product?
Iterable is well documented and has a visually appealing, intuitive interface while at the same time having the features I need to deliver highly segmented interactions to my audience.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to have a universal suppository for all of my content snippets so that I could refer to them across projects. I'd also like to have more control over what days of the week I send emails in journeys without a lot of work-around coding to get there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Iterable webhooks in concert with a third-party provider, we are working to set up a program that responds to user behaviors to trigger not only email and SMS but also direct mail to our users.
Iterable ESP Review
What do you like best about the product?
Having all of our data in one unified platform and the data is actionable is the most impactful feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting functionality could be improved throughout all of Iterable. The high level reporting is fine but getting granular can be difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving the challenge of how we plan, strategize, and execute our omnichannel marketing touchpoints. Everything from email, SMS, to mobile App.
Iterable experience
What do you like best about the product?
I think Iterable has most tools that a marketer would need to run successful campaigns. It's user-friendly and has helpful guardrails to ensure quality and support in campaign building and performance tracking.
What do you dislike about the product?
Iterable is not necessarily beginner-friendly. You must have experience working with a similar marketing platform or have knowledge in coding, logic, back end support, API calling, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Iterable solves several problems for our business, including: storing customer information and events, segmentation, list creation, analytics, testing, and of course engagement.
