Great product, even better team supporting and building out new features
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, smart team able to quickly support new experiences we set up
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of SMS support (e.g. send windows) and unclear dates for new feature support
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Iterable supports our entire email marketing experiences. We've seen an improvement in how we handle data through using Iterable and we've been able to easily scale thorugh their product.
great tool, amazing customer success team! dennis is superb!
What do you like best about the product?
my customer success rep, dennis, is great at letting us know about early beta releases and gives us a heads up on any email changes happening that would impact our business. also very responsive to follow ups.
What do you dislike about the product?
i wish the reporting suite was a bit better and tools were more flexible to our business needs (e.g. clicks heat map does not work for us due to our tagging structure).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we are trying to optimize email campaigns and drive more efficiencies with each send. so far the platform is pretty easy and straight forward to use, which my team likes.

What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that:
- There is the need to add the time difference in a workflow for countries outside of the US

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We tested out our abandoned cart email, and Iterable resolved some technical blockers so that we finally launched this recurring campaign.
Iterable is a stable cross channel platform which is a nice option for ecommerce.
What do you like best about the product?
The segmentation feature can wrap up audiences easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboard of the automation page - I'd like to have all active projects displayed on the top by sorting out the condition.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saving time by using automation journey to recur campaigns.
A great tool for building comprehensive customer journeys
What do you like best about the product?
I came across Iterable primarily as an email marketing tool, and I was really excited about it's ease-of-use for building multi-faceted customer journeys. It has an adaptive API and its a fairly user-friendly tool to add to your arsenal - especially compared to similar tools that offer integrated CRM/email marketing/automation capabilities. We also love how easy it is to search for and remove users - in my experience that can be complicated in other ESPs.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's expensive, and can be cost prohibitive if you're a smaller organization. The pricing is fair, and makes sense, it just means a not-for-profit may not even have the resources to consider Iterable, even though Iterable could be a great way to build multi-channel journeys that are popular in nonprofits (but often very clunky). It also requires a fairly strong technical team to fully utilize its features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We love it's ease of use with building multi channel customer journeys. It's opened up completely new ways for us to connect with and anticipate customer needs/interests. So the biggested benefit to us are its user journeys, and the visibility it offers for those journeys.
Excellent platform and excellent customer support
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use of the dynamic list segmentation tool
What do you dislike about the product?
The folder structure is not easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sending dynamic content in email and push - Catalog allows us to do so now
Recommendations to others considering the product:
New folder structure

- API and Webhook functionality is top-notch. While building a complex solution - we haven't missed anything.
- Multi-language support.

What do you dislike about the product?
- The UI could be a little more modern and compact, but that's something they are working on as we speak (some parts of the UI have already been redesigned).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Deliverability speed. Other platforms did not offer anything comparable.
- Creating complex designs and solutions is possible with Iterable.
- Working with Iterable is excellent in terms of communication if you are working in a young company yourself.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Iterable might be a little bit too complex for people who haven't worked with such platforms before.

A complex automation platform for Email, SMS and web push notifications
What do you like best about the product?
I have been working with Iterable for a year now and I the features we value the most are:
- Catalogs to manage our translations and products. We have presence in over 17 markets and this makes our Marketing team autonomous from the Dev team.
- Custom events to trigger workflows: we use Google Tag Manager to send events and trigger workflows.
- Datafeeds to call endpoints and send the right content to each user.
- 360 user profile, with user data, events and channel subscriptions.
- Drag and drop editor that allows our Marketing team to create cool templates without the need of an HTML/CSS developer.
All these features helps to personalize and segment your audience to a point that you can target them with specific and relevant content at the right time, and what I really appreciate is that we can create a lot of campaigns and workflows with independence from our Developers team.

What do you dislike about the product?
The possibilities of the Drag and Drop editor are limited. This makes sense because is a third-party solution but it is something that might be improved in the future. We would also like to be able to use a filter in the workflows based on a datafeed answer, to be able to segment in real time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have improved our personalization and automation, creating new campaigns to contact our users in all the steps of the funnel. The main problem we had with other platforms was that we had a big dependence on the Developers team and this made the cost of new campaigns higher. With Iterable, now our Marketing team can segment, test and improve our email without the need of a dev. This saved us money in salaries and improved our quality of communication, allowing us to test A/B a lot of features, automations and specific email details, such as subjects, content and CTAs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I advice Iterable for companies in need of deep personalization and customization.
A super powerful, developer-friendly, marketing automation platform
What do you like best about the product?
I prefer Iterable because it plays great with dev teams. From a robust API integration to intuitive segmentation and workflow design, I know it's going to play nice with my back-end database. The really powerful parts of iterable come with their Data Feed and Catalog features. These features allow you to access custom object information in your marketing campaigns and even filter logic based on some fields.
What do you dislike about the product?
Iterable can be slow if you have a very complex workflow. Their error messaging is also a pain to work with at times. If you have their chat support product, it's usually easy to get answers to your questions, but it is very frustrating otherwise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When you need a marketing automation platform to conform to your custom user object fields and complex database, Iterable is the platform to go with. I've found more and more ways to bring in personalization, segmentation, and complex workflow logic with Iterable than any other marketing platform.
