Experience with Cvent
What do you like best about the product?
I thoroughly enjoyed how easy and accessible the system was while attending the conference and seeing it from the "behind the scenes" perspective working the conference. It was extremely helpful to new and past attendees at our conference and I hope we will be using CVENT again.
What do you dislike about the product?
There were some minor glitches at times, but it might have been the capacity of everyone accessing the application at once. I think I noticed one issue while trying to access my direct messages. I never received any notifications if someone messaged me, and it was easier to use on the browser than the app itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I do not have any current issues, there may have been glitches at some point, but the CVENT staff we had at the conference was very helpful and always willing to support!
Missing some features, but overall works well.
What do you like best about the product?
Support offered during the initial setup was great.
What do you dislike about the product?
No preview for website, gamification lacking, manually assigning attendees to sessions is tedious.

Solves providing a central information resource for event attendees.
Overall good experience for onlien events.

Easy to use interface, definitely makes things more organized and enjoyable.

Set up time is a little long. There are some manual processes to work in our system.

What do you like best about the product?
User friendly app development, simple design.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited options for app development. Ex. only text and weblinks can be added to custom app pages, not photos.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Attendee Hub was useful for allowing event attendees to network informally via the app.
Basic platform that meets needs
What do you like best about the product?
Flexible platform that's easy to build, looks sleek and is very user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lacks in some areas the flexibility of design and targeting of information that i have seen work better in other apps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
An easy onsite solution for attendees to stay connected with the event and their peers.

What do you like best about the product?
I liked the look and feel of it. You are able to load things in and it makes things look really clean.
What do you dislike about the product?
We had an issue with the Discussions page, photos that were posted in the app were not showing up in the Attendee Hub Website. Also, it was a bit frustrating for our team that you could not create a homepage card that was not linked to a website, nor could you link it to another page in the app. Additionally it is long process to download and find the app and we had a lot of negative feedback around that.
Attendee Hub did not have many features that were adjustable. A lot of things were set and not able to be edited. Our company had a hard time getting everything we needed out of this app.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the problem of having an on the go way to access maps, contact colleagues etc.
Attendee Hub was Helpful for our First Virtual Conference
What do you like best about the product?
Attendees were able to sign up easily into the Cvent event space. It was great for our transition to virtual.
What do you dislike about the product?
Many of our customers have never used Cvent, so it took some adjustment. Hopefully for the next virtual conference, people will feel more at easy using this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
More customers are able to attend the conference, which is our big User conference. The transition from virtual to in-person was smooth.
Attendee Hub Usage for Event-Heavy Team
What do you like best about the product?
We used to use a third party app system that was seperate from registration, so having it all in one place, where attendee profiles, agenda sessions, etc., are all connected to the Cvent registration, is by far the most helpful
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a bit more customization options. For example, the home page features only really let you do pictures and links. We'd like to be able to do straight text posts that attendees can see right away, and better customization features that don't restrict images/sizes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have 20+ events per year and it is exhausting trying to coordinate attendee profiles for apps each time. This takes a lot of those steps away so that the app is closer to a set and forget it step in our event planning process.
Easy to use and great for an in person event!

The intuitive nature of the site makes it a breeze to set up!

There are times where you need to click in a place that's not the easiest to find

We use CVent for registration for our internal events, it's so easy to use
Fairly complicated interface, a lot of things to adjust and took a while to learn
What do you like best about the product?
Cvent is used by lots of companies, and has a lot of native integrations. They are a large, well-organized company. There seems to be a big team of developers there.
What do you dislike about the product?
It took a long time to learn. We needed to give admin access to many more staffers than I would have liked because the roles are not well-defined -- so everyone had to be an admin to do some helpful things (onsite, for example). This tool took a long time to learn, and we had many calls with support. Support is very structured, so we needed to go through the call center or book time with folks to get things moving. Still, the things that did not go right at the first event would have been preventable if we had more help from the team there. The interface is non-intuitive, and some things are redundant -- while ither things, you just can't see if you are not in the right "mode" as an admin - and this gets confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We moved from Boomset and Socio (now parts of Hopin and Cisco, respectively), so in order to get an "all in one" platform that had more functionality, and didn't require us to do integration.
