    Non-Profit Organization Management

Way better app. Always improving.

What do you like best about the product?
I've used Cvent for a while, so I've seen the evolution of the mobile app and session selection. It is worlds better than it was even a few years ago. I love the flexibility when it comes to what people can see. For non-designers, it's a simple way to build a mobile app.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think for designers, Attendee Hub and mobile app are limiting. I also would love to have more flexibility with how the sessions are presented (especially session groups) to make it easier for our registrants to see the group itself. And I would LOVE for a button that says "I'm done selecting my sessions." So that people aren't confused whether they've selected or not. Make it suuuuuper clear.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves for people being able to see the sessions that apply to them and makes it easier for us to get numbers for sessions. It also makes session selection easier, rather than registrants having to log back into their registration.

What do you like best about the product?
The attendee hub it very helpful and so nice for our attendees to be able to access and use. It's pretty easy to copy over and use for each event that we duplicate.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing is sometimes the link doesn't always work when we send it to attendees and they have trouble getting in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's been great to help set up some of our virtual events where the attendees watch the session on the Attendee Hub.

Its ability to centralize and streamline event engagement for all types of events.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Attendee Hub does not integrate effectively with software outside of Cvent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By providing a centralized platform for managing events, fostering interaction, and delivering personalized experiences for both virtual and in-person events.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to use on both the user side and the admin side.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more features to customize the mobile app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cvent helps us put our most up-to-date schedule in one place for our attendees to have.

    Media Production

Good Structure, lacking front-end fine-tuning and customization

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The sleek design, the simple format. We use it for every event, and there have been some improvements over the years. The formatting does translate well in the website and app form of the attendee hub.
What do you dislike about the product?
No way to customize the format of each page, or the widgets like you would do in registration setup. Two-factor authentication access proves to be a hurdle with our attendees.

Most importantly, the inability to re-arrange the page headers on the event website. I would prefer to re-order the header.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use the attendee hub as the exclusive form of the agenda. This allows for attendees to engage with other material we want them to see, while keeping it in a centralized location.

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use. No over complicated features. Have been using Cvent for over 12 years and it has never let me down. My honest opinion is that I have not a single bad experience. We have a wonderful accountmanager.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I dislike about Cvent Attende Hub.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We don't have any significant issues. However, I know that we are fully supported if ever we encounter any trouble. Cvent Attendee Hub does provide an all in one event management model that offers userfriendly systems for our on the go attendees.

Attendee Hub is so easy to use!

What do you like best about the product?
Both the user experience on the front end, and the building experience on the back end are very intuitive and easy to use. We only use Attendee Hub for our virtual and hybrid programs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting on the back end could be a bit better. Having the custom reports available is helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem is having things all on different platforms - with Attendee Hub, everything is housed in Cvent and the information is accessible to anyone.

Very useful tool for improving attendee experience

  • October 09, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The Attendee Hub is a go to space for sharing information with our attendees both pre & post event. Having a one stop platform to share an attendees agenda, have a list of sponsors and exhibitors, and to be able to share virtual content is extremely useful. On the day of an event, being able to confirgure and schedule notifications and reminders to all attendees also makes life a lot easier when you are busy doing other things. It is very easy to set up and we typically use it for all of our main flagship events
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little clunky when it comes to the finer details of set up. For example, you have to know which sessions will be included and which will be optional etc. There also seems to be a small loophole when it comes to sharing virtual content to specific admission item holders.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
IT makes life a lot easier when sharing information about the event. Having that one go to place for the attendee to find their agenda, the exhibitors/sponsors at an event, floor plans, etc. all on one device makes things a whole lot easier

    Education Management

Great Event Communication Tool

  • October 07, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As an educational institution, we are very happy with Attendee Hub's ability to provide an avenue of communication between constituents and between our attendees and our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Currently, our only struggles are in advertising and convincing our attendees to download the app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communication. Attendee Hub allows us to provide peer-to-peer secure/private messaging while also providing public, broader chat groups. For example, with our university's reunion activities, constituents can securely message any other attendees - even those for which they do not have cell phone information. Additionally, we create public class groups, so attendees can post messages and photos to class message boards. Finally, we, as the university representatives, can send weekend alerts and notifications.
