What do you like best about the product?
Allowed me to make great strides towards a Zero Touch solution using JAMF Connect and Okta. Enables MFA for the local endpoint and completely eliminates the issue with Filevault and AD Passwords.
What do you dislike about the product?
Automatic update integration is still lacking, so far it hasn't worked, I've had to specifically tell the integration to update, rather than let it drive itself. Maybe some will like this but I do not. In addition, the demobilization workflow is kind of tedious.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zero Touch

What do you like best about the product?
Jamf Connect solves a lot of issues we had before.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing actually, it just works out of the box.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had issues with AD dns records when bound to AD. Moreover in Corona times the issues multiplied in numbers
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just do it.

What do you like best about the product?
Jamf Connect allows us to leverage directory-backed authentication without the hassles and complications of binding. It is cloud-based, allowing for zero-touch deployment outside of the office. Deployment is simple. If your org uses Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), you can enforce that on your devices as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing for the offering is a bit more than what competitors charge for similar services.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jamf Connect allows the use of directory-backed accounts while adhering to Apple's best practice of using local accounts by linking the two together.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Lose the bind. Jamf Connect is worth the money to back accounts by directory in a mobile world.

What do you like best about the product?
It solved most of our multi-user issues and security issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't connect to Eduroam wifi from the login screen, but there is a feature request to fix that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We enforced access control and standardized account creation across the university. It also kept usernames and passwords on the Macs in sync with our directory service.

What do you like best about the product?
Jamf connect allows me to have a great first time user experience for all my new users. They are able to use their Okta account to log in to their endpoint, which makes it a more unified SSO experience for my users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jamf Connect does require a significant amount of configuration and is not easy to deploy if you have minimal experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to provide a unified SSO experience for my users.

CANT BEAT JAMF AND ITS PRODUCTS!

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to integrate with our existing IdP, this made it so that we would not have to reinvent the wheel and create all of our users again.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am having an issue with the Jamf Connect license file and when it is deployed. The file will shows as "Not Valid" I am in contact with a Senior Technical Support Engineer to resolve this issue.

What do you like best about the product?
Jamf Connect is the ideal solution with Okta and Azure IDPs which provides seamless login login experience on macOS additionally users dont have to deal with legacy login experience.

One thing you cant ignore which is evergreen Jamf Support, however one will not face many issues as Jamf Connect implementation is super easy and works like a charm.

Migration from old profile to new profile is way to go.

MFA wokrs great with Jamf Connect.

For sure you cant forget it removes all hastle for AD Binding and Filevault enable experience.

Its a rock solid secure solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as such, you can only be in trouble if you have complexity in your environment and you are not doing implementation properly.

Initially Jamf Connect was not mature but as time goes Jamf Connect evolves with ease of use and comes with super clean integration and rock solid Support Model.

Jamf always takes feedback very seriously compared to other companies I experienced.

That Jamf connect is 1000% more reliable then old ad binding
What do you dislike about the product?
The price is a little high, especially for small clients

What do you like best about the product?
The branding and the ease of use, and the support from Jamf. Also the full correction of keychain and password sync functionality.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do sort of dislike that without the added benefits of using JAMF Connect you can still use NoMAD and NoMadAD for free.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was solving no AD bind for our macOS systems. The ease of use and the immediate end-user branding recognitions.
