PrinterLogic makes printer support a breeze.
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to set parameters once and easily allow users to install printers on their own without help from IT support.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is an expensive implementation, but worth the cost for the time it saves the IT support team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a complex print setup. Different documents are sent to different trays, meaning the time it takes to add and configure printers to each computer can be significant. PrinterLogic let's us set the parameters once, and deploy to users without manually intervention.
Simple setup and deployment
What do you like best about the product?
It is super easy to use. The customer support was friendly and knowledgeable and made my first deployment a breeze. I had a client with multiple locations and a lot of printers set up and ready for deployment in about an hour. It has all the features of a physical print server and more. Very happy with the product overall.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I found was that they don't support v4 drivers for HP. This makes integration take longer if migrating from a physical print server, but it's not a deal breaker.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to more easily identify where printers are on the network so that we can provide better service to our clients.
Amazing product called PrinterLogic.
What do you like best about the product?
I was able to migrate about 150 printers from two different on prem print servers quite easily. 99% of the end users had no idea it happened because everything migrated so successfully. I have always had a dream to have an all in one solution for printing, reporting, and this is it. I cant say enough good things about this product.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only dislike (which i know they are working on) is after migrating printers over, you can only add one printer at a time to a group.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had 2 old on prem print servers and used papercut to track printing. We were getting constant helpdesk calls with printer issues. Now we pretty much never get calls about printer issues.
Printing without PrinterLogic seems impossible now
What do you like best about the product?
It literally just works. You go through the demo thinking, "Yah, this seems good, but what's the catch?". There is no catch. Setup is a snap. Configuration is a snap. The hardest part was getting users to understand that literally nothing on their end is changing other than some queue names.
Not that we will, but I swear I will ban printing in its enterty in my org before I go back to using print servers.
Setup and configuration was simple and deploying printers to our existing environment/swapping users over to PrinterLogic managed printers was just a matter of communication.
Our traveling users really like the self service portal for when they're at non-home office locations. They can just select a printer and go without having to contact the Help Desk.
Not having to deal with PrinterNightmare issues or putzing around with per-impression cloud printing bills is makes our exe admins very happy. No more frustrated users complaining t them, and no massive bills per month either caused by over printing or wasted impressions not being used.

What do you dislike about the product?
We haven't really experianced any downsides yet. I guess in the hypothetical realm, it is a cloud service so connectivity issues could make it so you can't access your mgmt portal.
It hasn't happened to us, but I could see that.
It hasn't happened to us, but I could see that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's allowed us to get rid of print servers. It also allows us to quickly deploy/change printers without messing around with all the crap Microsoft Print Services entails. Especially post-PrinterNightmare.
Printerlogic is worth a look

Bring Peace to your Printer Deployment
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that I can update printer configurations from a web console anywhere and push it out to team members is a game changer. We went from constantly figuring out why our Printer Server woudlnd't play ball, to giving customers the power to install their own printers the first time and every time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost can be a little high depending on the number of devices, but not when you compare technician hours to resolve printer issues or the time spent deploying and updating for individuals in your company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can install printers for our team members no matter where they are. I can update a printer configuration no matter where I am.
PrinterLogic has completely removed our reliance on print servers
What do you like best about the product?
Dynamic installs via subnet assignment has been a big help to add/remove printers based on location of users. Users can also
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to see driver compatibility with versions other than Type-3 drivers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PrinterLogic has enable users to self install any printer they have access to on floorplan maps we can upload and update.
Makes printer administration effortless
What do you like best about the product?
I can't think of any downside on a technical level. PL takes all the pain points of printer administration and they give you a great big "EASY" button.
- Building additional printers in the organization is easy
- Deploying printers to as few or as many users or computers is easy
- Integration into the environment is quick, easy, and completely painless. Migrating to PL is essentially automated
