Easy to setup, easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Central repository to configure all printers for our organization across nearly 200 sites. any employee can travel to any of the sites and pull up, map to in less than 5 minutes, and print from any printer configured in the application.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that Vaison would have a library of dirvers to pull from so that you were not forced to uplad all of your drivers yourself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Relieves the strain of our helpdesk by mapping printers and configuring print profiles and settings across the organization
Helpful Tool for IT Techs
What do you like best about the product?
Being a "one stop shop" for users/clients to install allowed devices on their managed computers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The limitation for the map/location of devices. Wished there were more features to customize this both the list and the map was more interactive for users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
From an IT support standpoint, it does what we need it to do. Easy management with inventory, driver, user permission/access, etc. Very thankful for it.
Scalable Solution for Cross-Location Printing Needs
What do you like best about the product?
Vasion Print is designed to handle large-scale printer deployment well. I appreciate the centralized control over printers, which has made troubleshooting simpler. It has been beneficial for efficiently handling a large volume of print jobs across different departments. Also, customer support has been helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integration with third-party tools like our identity management system could be smoother.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By automating driver deployment, Vasion Print has reduced the time and resources we spend on printer management. Also, the centralized management aspect has been particularly valuable for remote IT management.
Great for Centralized Printing but Initial Setup is Tricky
What do you like best about the product?
The biggest advantage of Vasion Print is its serverless setup, which has greatly simplified our print management. Customer support is another highlight, they are responsive and provide helpful solutions to our problems.
What do you dislike about the product?
One challenge that we faced was the difficulties in the initial setup and configuration. Also, the documentation could be more comprehensive for more new users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to control print permissions effectively, freeing up our IT team for other important tasks.
Vasion print makes setup simple !
What do you like best about the product?
I am fond of vasion print due to its easy to operate and setup print servers without much problem. It needs less use of printers within the same areas as previous but provides same or sometimes better results. Emr and vdi integration works well and team could able to use it from one location that is quite handy. In initial setup customer executive team really helped us with information and guides.
What do you dislike about the product?
It works well everytime but drivers area can be improved for faster processes and implementation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It saves us a lot of cost since it requires less printers than previous, which is very helpful for cutting down the cost and it is very much simpler to setup and maintain.Naming ans desciption helps in indentifying the accurate printer.Overall its a productivity booster for us and also helps in cost optimization in company.
A stress-free, liberating experience; User-Printer Management, Solved!
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to follow instructions, both for IT Staff and End Users. Any user can click the tray icon and quickly drill down to find the printer they're needing to add - no need to search Windows settings, browse clunky directories that take forever to load. Integration and deployment were easy and painless and it's used every day by our users. Support has been great with us, and our internal support documentation is easy for users to follow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly can't think of anything I'd want to see further development of.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gone are the days of worrying about drivers, or having to remote-in to install printers for users, or trying to step-by-step them through it, themselves. Documentation is brief and the platform (for end-users) is very intuitive anyway. It's freed up so much time for our HelpDesk staff.
Best print management SaaS out there
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, pricing, support is easy to work with and porting over from our old print server was a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
In my opinion, there's no downsides. I wouldn't trade PrinterLogic for anything else.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PrinterLogic helped us get over the PrintNightare situation. We saved dozens of hours per month in troubleshooting and trying to make our print server work witht he mitigations for PrintNightmare.
Good solution, saves a lot of time
What do you like best about the product?
Vasion Print removes the need for manual installation of printers, and equips you with database of your printers segregated as you wish, which is very helpful when you need to deploy large number of new users / printers / install new computers due to lifecycle in your company. If you have only a handful of printers, you configure it once and it just works, remote printing is also a nice bonus.
What do you dislike about the product?
Creating / editing printer profiles is a bit laggy, but that might just be my network.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At my previous company where we didn't have any solution for printers (was also a large scale operation), I used to install all printers, drivers etc. manually, which made it a huge headache with large numbers of printers and employees coming and going away. When user is able to install new printers with a few clicks - it saves a lot of time.
End User Simplicity
What do you like best about the product?
The best part of the product is the end user simplicity. Users are now able to click a button and then see every printer listed available and just click to add. This is a lot more efficient than using a traditional Microsoft print server.
What do you dislike about the product?
The driver repository I think could be improved. If drivers for models are pre-loaded, or links to be added to help find and easily install, this could help administrators a lot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The issue that has been resolved is end user ease of access. Previously, users would have to know the print server name and url along with the printer name and go through all these steps to connect to a printer. Now, this all goes away! They are easily able to see the name of the printer and the description/location of the printer after just 1 click into the portal!
A Great Set It And Forget It Product
What do you like best about the product?
PrinterLogic continues to work well for us, but I do have a few caveats that they can hopefully resolve sooner than later.
We had a slew of new laptops that came in that we ordered with Snapdragon Processors. We could not get to Printerlogic to work, and reached out to them for assistance.
They advised they do not support these processors and there was no workaround.
They did state they are working on a fix, but we had to box up and send back a slew of laptops because of this. A bit crazy that they don't support all processors for their software.

What do you dislike about the product?
Release a fix to allow Snapdragon processors to be able to be used with Printerlogic. Tech I spoke to advised the fix COULD be in the fall, but no guarantees and could be much longer than that. We simply couldn't wait that long while having users without the ability to print.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves our problems with admin-less printer installs and queue configuration in a centralized, easy to manage area.
