Katalon - Best Automation tool
What do you like best about the product?
Katalon helps to write test cases in fast way. It is used both for Web and API Automation
What do you dislike about the product?
Few times Katalon Commit feature is not working properly. After refreshing project staged changes are getting updated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Web Element identification and API testing.

1) Not getting compilation errors properly in Katalon studio like java IDEs.

No need to get the web element xpaths from website.

What do you like best about the product?
I like katalon's user interface as It is easy to use,user friendly and can be implemented easliy. I also like its extensive automation testing capabilities and can be easily integrated with various tools and frameworks.The manual mode feature is quite attractive as any person with less programing knowledge can also write script with this feature. Other thing which i most like is the Customer support is also easily accessible when we are facing any issues with the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
The issues that i noticed with katalon is that it hangs when running complex automation scenarios or executing multiple test suites.Application gets freeze for some time when switching from one test case tab to another .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Katalon platform enhances testing efficiency by creating test cases and execution.It also simplifies process of creating automated tests, making it accessible to all testers with varying level of technical expertise.Capability to integrate easily with other tools offers more test coverage,detailed reporting which ultimately leading to faster delivery of high quality software products.

That Http requests in newer versions are still broken

during testing espesically in mobile using emulator. i can say it is resource heavy.

Katalon simplifies the automation of web, API, mobile, and desktop application testing. it can help with minimal knowledge about coding. so our team can utilize the tools with ease
Great Automation Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy using the Katalon tool as it helped with our automation framework and integrates with our current tools, for example, BitBucket. I hope to integrate with our future CICD deployment flow. Our regression test suites in Katalon keep growing as we add more features to them within our website products. I would appreciate it if it could be used from the Katalon TestCloud, which is all online and maintains everything on their server. The recording tool within is a plus, along with all the other features Katalon offers to the entire Enterprise. The Katalon Studio creates recording auto scripts, and TestOps offers to do the CICD and see Reporting. The test execution runtime engine is fun to watch, and Katalon enjoys doing the automation work. Able to test the following mobile, desktop, and API applications with reasonable solutions. There are plenty of features and many to go through as I am still learning to use them. Katalon also offers resources for their Academy to learn and has webinars and support tickets to ask questions. Overall, Katalon is incredible, and I would recommend trying out its tools and solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some challenging features to try and make work. It would be nice to have more trouble shooting or learning videos of how to's and maybe there are I just havent explored to see it. At times if I dont find on Katalon Academy or the Community. Have to refer to Chat GPT, You Tube.
Just a thought - It would be nice to conference or huddle with someone on the spot to work out issues when submit a ticket for support. Easier to demo and show and get to the answer instead of wasting tons of time researching and churn back and forth. A live technical consultant or customer support that knows what they are doing.

Regression Test Suite. It helps with Regression.
Great Tool to automate the testing
What do you like best about the product?
Being a Manual Quality Analyst, I started trying the Katalon to automate the UI testing in my project. After doing the set-up, I found it super easy to create the test scripts and then execute them in future after each release for quick regression. Using the Katalon, I was able to save a lot of time for the team. Moreover, it can be easily integrated to many tools like Jira, ADO so that you can view the Regression report in the desired application.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that consumed little bit of time while creating the new scripts was to find the xpath. Apart from that, everyhting was working fine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We don't have the Automation framework in our peoject. So, we need something that can quickly automate testing with minimum effort.
Best Test Automation Tool Ever!
What do you like best about the product?
One tool does it all! WebUI, API (SOAP/REST), Native, Mobile, parallel executions, multi-browser, Git interoperability, Eclipse IDE etc. Support is great too. I love that it supports all levels of users, from quick record/playback and keywords, to experienced developers that need everything. I've used Katalon every day for the past three years and it's head and shoulders over its competition... and I've been developing test automation for 33 years, so I know what I'm saying here!
What do you dislike about the product?
Price and inability to have some users with the free license to start with, because we have paid license usage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Test automation of (mostly) web applications. Having a tool that I can depend upon at the heart of our test automation framework makes my job as QA Automation Architect much easier.

1. The clicks on the file explorer don't work sometimes e.g. you click somewhere & the item clicked on moves away at that instant.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Katalon solved the problem of painstakingly configuring CI/CD, running profiles, having to code separately for data driven testing.
